Chapter 300: Chapter 289: Faction Gaplay and Specialty Systems (First Update) Chapter 300: Chapter 289: Faction Gaplay and Specialty Systems (First Update) The creation of banners and faction emblems did not stump them.

Derek directly tossed a badge to Jiang Qiao, while Mother projected an emblem composed of three interlocking triangles.

Perhaps due to War God Wuerde’s side having too many divine representatives, he did not know where he found a pen and paper, and after a long ti sketching, he finally settled on a design for Jiang Qiao.

Jiang Qiao made three flags based on the emblems they had sent and erected them behind them.

“The flags and the nas of the factions are now defined, what’s left is to confirm your special systems and gaplay,” he said.

Jiang Qiao looked at the three flags behind them in turn; the first was the Plane Pirate’s flag, a rust green banner with crossed cutlasses and cannons, imdiately evoking the image of pirate ships encrusted with barnacles and rust.

Extinction Unit Mother’s emblem was much simpler; she called her own faction the “Nursery,” which gave Jiang Qiao a kindergarten vibe, but since it was the other party’s suggestion, Jiang Qiao saw no issue with it.

Then there was War God Wuerde, representing the Alliance of Gods; the emblem of the Alliance of Gods was made of many complex patterns combined, which Jiang Qiao didn’t quite understand, but it certainly looked imposing.

“Special systems and gaplay?” Drake knew what the term ant, but he couldn’t wrap his mind around it when the words ‘system’ and ‘gaplay’ were added.

“The simplest way to say it is it’s sothing that distinguishes you from other factions. I imagine on Biland Island it’s only you Plane Pirates who thrive on plunder, right? When you capture people from other factions, you don’t kill them imdiately but sell them to your God of Plunder, whereas other factions would probably eliminate them straight away,” Jiang Qiao exemplified, gaining Drake’s approval.

“You’re right,” Drake said, glancing at War God Wuerde, “The gods will kill every aberration on the island, be they Magic Thieves, Annihilation Legions, or the Void Swarm. We always capture them alive, because dead goods aren’t fresh.”

“This is your special system,” Jiang Qiao continued. “After capturing enemies or their possessions, you can exchange them for plunder tokens, which your God of Plunder would welco for exchanging into rewards, right?” he asked.

“Certainly, that’s our aim… Biland Island harbors countless treasures, including gods and the Annihilation Legion. Any divine being who joins us can beco… a Treasure Hunter,” replied Derek.

Derek had thought he’d need to persuade Jiang Qiao to involve the divine beings in all sorts of plundering activities on the island and to convert their loot into plunder tokens.

But now it seed the divine beings were naturally cut out for this.

“Excellent. Summing up, your characteristic gaplay is a plundering style, where the more you steal… the more powerful the stuff you grab, the more respect you earn among pirates, right?” Jiang Qiao asked again.

“There are many ways to earn our respect, and power isn’t the only asure. If your divine beings could really loot the cities of the Alliance of Gods,” Drake said as he wiped his dagger, which reflected the impassive light from War God Wuerde, “perhaps those folks in our city would really regard your divine beings as legends.”

Pfft… it’s more likely your city will be the one cleaned out by the divine beings!

At this mont, War God Wuerde suddenly felt sowhat relieved… grateful that he had co to understand the nature of divine beings before these bumpkins, and that through the Divine Chosen he knew which divine beings could be befriended and which should be kept at a distance.

“We request the help of divine beings solely for self-preservation, agent,” Mother finally spoke up. “The orders we received in the past were to annihilate Biland Island, but now there’s a tiny portion of native creatures under our annihilation plan.”

So these extinction machines have been Biland Island’s babysitters?

“What’s your relationship with the Magic Thieves?” Jiang Qiao guessed that the situation on Biland Island was similar to that on Biland Island.

There was a group of Magic Thieves as the natives, but the real inhabitants were various powerful monsters on the island, with super learning abilities and innate Crystal Curse, lacking the power of the Devouring God it could be inadvertently possessed by the Crystal Curse.

This was probably one of the reasons why various factions ca seeking the help of the Devouring God.

“Those grown-up children despise us,” Mother switched to a child expert tone, “We only take in so of the younger children, those still troubled by the curse of Biland Island, and try to raise them to adulthood.”

“Can you really raise this thing?” Jiang Qiao took out an egg of the Apocalypse Dragon and asked Mother.

“This is one of our children, but they all follow the consciousness of Biland Island, and after they beco adults, we must release them deep into the island,” said Mother.

So you are the real Druids?

Jiang Qiao roughly understood the relationship between the extinction units, or breeders, and the Magic Thieves; the Magic Thieves on the island are the local indigenous people, who apparently also possess the capability to control those… lord-level dragons.

However, the Magic Thieves use those lord-level creatures as weapons and tools of war, making the breeders seem much more Buddhist, capturing and raising anything, be it adults or children.

Those dragons, once grown, still do not recognize people and remain wild; therefore, they release the dragons… back into nature.

These are true environntalists!

“Are you sure you aren’t just executing those disobedient dragons?” Jiang Qiao always suspected there was sothing… fishy about these extinction units, like maybe the breeding facilities were actually large-scale slaughterhouses.

“There is no part in my program that includes lying,” said Mother.

“The fact that your dialogue is so humanized is itself quite strange to , but alright, I’ll trust you this ti.”

Jiang Qiao waved his hand lightly, and two lines of pale white text appeared next to Mother.

“Your playstyle is a conservative, closed one, seeking help from the spirits only for the protection of the breeding facilities, and secondarily your distinctive system is like pet breeding? You also take care of the eggs sent by the spirits, right?”

Jiang Qiao was still not brave enough to entrust Fureya to these… dangerous people, but the spirits have a partially-completed pet system.

This pet system has been criticized by many players, and currently, the players who have pets are just a few big shots obsessed with Coca-Cola, and moreover the pets are so useless it’s pitiful.

Because pets tad by the spirits grow so slowly that they might… possibly exhaust the players to death.

The Bubble family’s dragon would take around two hundred years to mature, two hundred years! The spirits might shut down before it even matures.

Yet the dragons on Biland Island grow as if they were fed quick-grow fertilizer.

“Lastly, you all, the Divine Chosen Ones, are also very familiar with the spirits, so what is your distinctive trait?” Jiang Qiao asked.

“The gods’ purpose on Biland Island is to eliminate all the alien species on the island. The Divine Fragnts can be yours, but whether it is annihilation, chaos, or these pirates… and these machines as well as Biland Island itself must disappear,” said War God Urd, not choosing to hide anything because he knew that once the spirits landed on Biland Island, they would gradually learn the true nature of things.

“The Divine Chosen Ones will help those spirits willing to aid us; the city we’ve established on Biland Island is indeed the most orderly,” War God Urd thought for a mont and could only co up with… this one distinctive trait.

“Feels a bit… Brotherhood of Steel, doesn’t it? So, just to confirm one last ti, your gods’ alliance gaplay is about purification, eliminating all evil creatures on the island, and the distinctive trait is the Divine Chosen One’s aid, and by doing more tasks for you, we could exchange for a Divine Chosen One assistant or help, right?”

Jiang Qiao had witnessed the combat abilities of the Divine Chosen Ones in previous battles against other Island Masters; they are a group of powerful caregivers… Each Divine Chosen One from different pantheons had so strong god-given effects, essentially a kind of BUFF for the spirits.

“You can understand it that way,” said Urd.

“Subsequent things like faction reputation systems, and exclusive faction equipnt exchanges are all designed by , saying too much might confuse you, just bring the flag behind you, and let show you to the spirits… As to how many spirits you can recruit in the end, that will be up to your own ability,” Jiang Qiao didn’t expect every faction’s equipnt to satisfy the players; these faction’s special equipnt and the item exchanges would ultimately need his personal design.
