As the sixty group of beasts erged in front of the group, everyone had started panicking. This was due to their amount which was greater than the previous ones.
"The noise must have attracted them, everyone watch out!" Chris shouted.
Three beasts had surrounded both Dave and Simbi, circling around them as they snarled and growled at them. The rest of the group hadn't been left out either, three to four beasts already have them surrounded.
"Shit, I'm out of bullets." Simbi said, her voice laced with concern.
"Sa here." Gunther claid, his gun now a useless weight in his hands.
At that mont, a certain idea had ca to Dave's mind. Since he had the ability to ta beasts, what better ti to test out his powers other than now, though, the only setback he might have is the EP which was needed to ta them, but he'd figure out sothing right?
Bringing up the system, it had displayed his abilities once again. Then he imdiately clicked on one of it.

Focusing his mind, Dave had locked eyes with one of the beasts for a brief mont. The creature, seemingly entranced, stood calmly before him, no longer snarling at them. Dave felt an unusual connection forming, as if he could sense the beast's thoughts and emotions.

A smile had ford on Dave's lips, the system was better than he imagined. Then moving on to the next step, Dave had decided to control the beast. Since he already had it tad, controlling the beast was a piece of cake.
With a simple command of 'Kill', Dave's gaze turned towards the two other beasts in front of him and to the rest of the beasts surrounding the group, he made sure his gaze lingered carefully on them, before he turned to look back at the beast.
And almost instantly, the beast had done as instructed. It lunged at its fellow beast, biting on its neck and killing it in the process.
The third beast was surprised and before it could even attack, Dave's beast had jumped at it, killing it in the sa manner as the first one. The odd action from the beast, hadn't gone unseen by the rest of the group.
When the sixty or so beasts had appeared and cornered them, they had been careful not to charge in recklessly, and end up hurting themselves. But now, they could see one of the beasts killing two other beast of its kind.
They thought that was all until the beast turned to look at the rest of the beasts, then charging towards them, it started jumping and killing them with a single bite, and two claw strikes from it.
What the group were seeing now was what could be described as beast war, cause they can't believe their eyes.
This went on until the rest of the beasts had decided to act on the rogue beast. They charge at Dave's beast, overwhelming it till it was eventually killed. But a couple of them had ended up dead in the process.
[Tad Beast is now dead, connection has been lost.]

'Not for long.' Dave said as he activated his ability again and tad yet, another beast.

The sa 50% stat bonus has been given to the beast, and imdiately the beast has started charging at the rest of the beasts, whose number had now dwindled down to twenty.
But despite their huge number, they were all powerless against Dave's beast. And within two minutes, all of them have been killed.
The group then stared at the single beast left, they were wondering what it will do now that it has killed the rest of its kind. Gunther had even attempted killing it, but before he could, Dave had instructed it to run.
After taming and controlling the two beasts, he had instantly ran out of his initial twenty EP, but with Simbi beside him, he instantly got recharged.
During the ti his tad beast was fighting the other beasts, Dave had grabbed onto Simbi's hand, though she didn't show any reaction to this, he knew she was aware of his actions.
But that didn't matter, as Dave just needed to recharge. In turn, he had received 10 EP from holding hands with her. And that was what he had used to send the beast away.
"Thank goodness, it's gone." The group claid heaving a sigh of relief.
But the group couldn't help but get worried, they wonder why the beasts had done all what they did; the dead one and the one that just ran off.
Looking off to the distance, Chris had spoken up; "I think there might be a mother crystal nearby, these beasts seems to be coming from there."
"Then we have to leave, we're already out for a long ti. It's ti to go." Gunther replied.
The rest of the group couldn't agree less, and with what they've experienced today, they were too exhausted to continue fighting. So they had imdiately set off for the base.
Dave, as he walked behind the group with Simbi couldn't help but ask. "So where is this base of yours?"
Smiling, Simbi replied. "Believe , you're going to love it."
