Among the group of executives that were making their way back to the eting area, Chris could be seen walking alongside the three teenage boys in his group; Felix, Fin, and Gab. They had finally completed their task, though it hadn’t been done without its own challenges. Initially, a delay had thrown them off schedule, courtesy of Dave and his group’s unexpected entanglent with the mad scientist known as White.

Chris’ thoughts still lingered on the scientist, a man he had once known in a different context, and had believed to be a good person. Unfortunately, it turns out he was not. The revelation had been jarring, to say the least.

Not only has White’s experints brought about the demise of his father, a painful mory that still lingered in his mind, White had also planned to kill him as well, if not for Dave’s intervention.

He couldn’t just understand, was it the effect of the apocalypse? What exactly had driven White to such madness that he would experint on innocent people’s body. His actions had left a trail of destruction in this world, and Chris’s resolve couldn’t help but harden as he thought about the past.

Chris’s gaze was introspective, his mind replaying the events that had transpired. They had learned more about the intricate web of events that had unfolded. Especially the role Tasha had played in capturing Dave. Her motivations was fueled by a twisted desire for revenge. She had been driven by a past humiliation, one that still burned within her.

The mory of the sparring match lingered, a painful reminder of how her nephew had been defeated at Dave’s hands. She had joined hands with White who happened to be her secret lover and they had went on to capture Dave and his group.

White had planned on using them for his hybrid experint. But Chris’s actions had changed the course of events as he snuck into White’s lab, releasing the binds on the captured group.

Dave and his group were able to escape, thanks to Chris’s tily intervention. Though, before he left, Dave had taken his revenge on White, avenging Chris’ father’s death. Since then, Chris had felt a deep sense of gratitude towards Dave, and although he had thanked him nurous tis, still, the sense of indebtedness remained within him.

As they approached the designated eting point, Chris’s thoughts turned to Dave. He wondered how he was faring and he couldn’t help but recall their last conversation. Dave had ntioned the possibility of not returning to the casino base after the expedition, and Chris couldn’t help but feel worried.

He hoped to see him one last ti, to perhaps persuade him to stay. And although he doubted his words could change Dave’s mind, Chris still felt compelled to try. The prospect of not seeing him again was unsettling, and Chris quickened his pace, his heart filled with a mix of anticipation and concern.

He had sothing important to tell him, it had to do with what had happened during his group expedition. And after seeing Howard’s announcent on TV, he knew he had to see Dave at all cost.

Talking about Chris’ group expedition, they had encountered so unexpected challenges, but it wasn’t about the challenges they faced, but about what had happened during the ti.

They had ventured into a mall, the sa mall they were told to head to, by Anthony. However, their presence had been detected, and it attracted so unwanted attention.

A pair of massive beasts had begun to circle the building, their eyes fixed on the large building structure, which surprisingly still stood tall despite the chaos that had occured to the rest of the buildings present in the area. The old folks who had let them in seed fragile and defenseless, their age and frailty making them no match for the snarling creatures outside.

Chris and the three teenage boys stood out as the only young people in the group, and they knew they had to act. The beasts’ growls grew louder, their bodies tensing as they prepared to charge. Chris knew that if they breached the mall, it would be a bloodbath. The old folks would be slaughtered, and Chris couldn’t bear the thought of it.

With a sense of determination, Chris decided to take matters into his own hands. He would confront the beasts outside, dealing with them before they attracted more predators to the mall.

The weight of responsibility settled on his shoulders as he look out through the transparent glass, his eyes locked on the snarling creatures outside. He knew it wouldn’t be an easy fight, but he was determined to protect the people who had taken them in.

With a deep breath, Chris stepped out into the open, his sword at the ready. The beasts lood before him, their eyes fixed on the mall’s entrance. He had instructed the three teenagers to stay inside, to keep safe from the danger that lurked outside.

But unbeknownst to Chris, one of them was injured, a wound that emitted a potent scent of blood. The beasts’ keen senses had picked up on it, drawing them to the mall like predators to prey.

Even as Chris stood before them, sword in hand, the beasts’ attention remained fixated on the source of the scent, their nose twitching towards the mall’s interior. It was evident that they were distracted, and Chris had saw an opportunity to strike. He needed to finish off the beasts while they were distracted.

With his swords raised, Chris was ready to charge forward. But just as he did, a strange sensation ca over him at once. He tried to propel himself forward, but his feet felt rooted to the spot. His legs wouldn’t budge, as if an unseen force had immobilized him.

Panic set in as he attempted to move his arms, but they too seed frozen in place. "What’s happening to ?" he muttered, his voice laced with desperation. Visible sweat beaded on his forehead, a testant to his growing unease.

But Chris’s concern about his own predicant was quickly eclipsed by a far more ominous threat. A low rumble began to build, growing in intensity as a sea of beasts erged from all directions. They poured in from behind him, from the sides, and from the front, their eyes fixed on Chris with an unholy hunger. The air was filled with the cacophony of their growls, a deafening roar that seed to shake the very foundations of the mall.

Those inside watched in horror as the beasts closed in, their numbers seemingly endless. The sound of their growling grew louder, a chilling portent of the carnage that was to co. Chris’s face contorted in a mixture of fear and frustration as he struggled to free himself, but his body remained stubbornly still. The beasts drew closer, their jaws open wide, and Chris’s fate hung precariously in the balance.
