Two days had passed since the executives had last gathered, and Simbi couldn’t shake off the feeling of uncertainty about her partner’s well-being. As she traveled alongside three other executives, all significantly older than her, her mind wandered to the thoughts of Dave. She couldn’t help but wonder how he was faring in his expedition.

Their group had originally consisted of five mbers, but an unsettling discovery had been made a couple of days prior. Tasha, one of their own, was nowhere to be found. They had woken up one day, only to discover that Tasha had disappeared from their midst.

The group had tried searching for her, as they scoured every room of the building they had been staying in, thinking maybe she had stepped out for a short while. However, as the hours ticked by, there was no sign of Tasha’s return.

The group’s patience had worn thin, and after waiting for what felt like an eternity, they had made the decision to leave the building and head to a clinic near the designated eting area that Gunther had told them to et.

Their designated place of expedition was the large hospital they had initially arrived at, but unfortunately, its entrance was heavily guarded by military personnel who stood with guns in their hands, their faces were stern and unyielding that even the beasts hadn’t tried to attack the place.

Perhaps the beasts weren’t aware of the humans present in the hospital, or maybe they were scared to attack them, Simbi and her group had no idea. But even if they attacked, the military were sure to deal with them before they could try to enter.

No human was allowed to enter, then why would they allow a beast to? Not even the desperate cry of help coming from a frail old woman, had made the soldiers flinch. Their gazes remained stern and fixed. And when the old woman won’t leave, they had ended up killing her.

It was clear that the hospital was under lockdown, with no one allowed in or out. The military’s rigid posture and the heavy security presence suggested that they were protecting sothing – or soone – of great importance. Whatever was happening inside, it was shrouded in secrecy, hidden from prying eyes and curious minds.

The group’s attempts to reason with the n were t with silence, their pleas and queries dismissed with a curt shake of the head. It beca apparent that gaining access to the hospital was impossible, and the group was forced to regroup and reassess their plan.

They needed dical supplies to treat the growing number of sick and wounded at the casino base, and the hospital had been their best bet. Now, they would have to find an alternative, scouring the surrounding area for any other possible source of the dical supplies.

Fortunately, they had discovered a clinic present in an area close to where they were to et with the rest of the executives. The clinic was smaller than the hospital, but they hoped they could still managed to get sothing out of it. After all, sothing is better than nothing.

Without hesitation, the group had made their way towards the clinic, as they walked through the desolate landscape. Approaching the clinic before them, it’s battered exterior ca into view, its walls scarred and broken. The doors hung crookedly on their hinges, creaking ominously in the gentle breeze.

The interior was a scene of utter devastation, the aftermath of a brutal raid by a horde of beasts. The air was thick with the stench of death and decay, and the group’s faces twisted in distaste as they surveyed the carnage.

It was clear that the clinic had been overwheld by a horde of beasts, the patients and staff had either fled or... had ended up in a worse state. And talking about worse, the multiple dead bodies on the floor was a proof to that. The group’s footsteps echoed through the ssy ground, their eyes scanning the destruction.

Despite the clinic’s grim state, Simbi and her group pressed on, driven by their need for dical supplies. They navigated the dark, narrow corridors, their hearts heavy with the weight of what they might find.

As they ventured deeper, they stumbled upon a room that seed to have been left relatively untouched. And there, amidst the chaos, they found a treasure trove of dical supplies, far exceeding their expectations. The group’s faces lit up with hope as they gathered the precious resources, their mission suddenly becoming a little more bearable.

On that sa night, they had seen the big announcent from Howard. He had revealed that everyone possessed strange powers - powers that would aid them through the apocalypse.

And among the group consisting of four won, two bore the distinctive mark on their arms, a symbol that seed to signify their affiliation with Howard’s faction. As for the rest of the ladies, which included Simbi, their arms were bare of any such markings. They could only guess that they have one of the two other powers.

anwhile, Simbi’s thought had drifted to Dave, her mind racing with different thoughts and mories. She recalled all of the matches that Dave had fought in when they were still at the casino base, the way he had defeated all of his opponents with a single hit.

His overwhelming strength couldn’t be explained at that ti. Not many even cared about it, but after hearing Howard’s announcent, she had ca to a sudden realization. Could it be that Dave was part of Howard’s group? The thought seed plausible, given his incredible strength and agility.

Replaying the scene in her mind, there was no other explanation to this, Simbi had ca to a conclusion. "Dave indeed has super strength!" she exclaid, her voice barely above a whisper.

She couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration for Dave, her respect for him growing with each passing mont. The announcent had shed new light on the world they lived in, and Simbi felt like she was just beginning to scratch the surface of its secrets.

On another part of the town, Gunther and his two group mbers were already making their way to the place they were to et with the rest of the executives. The bus rumbled along, carrying multiple tanks now filled with enough fuel to last them for six months or more. The trio had worked tirelessly to scavenge for fuel, and their efforts had paid off.

As they drove, they discussed the announcent from Howard, their voices filled with a mix of excitent and trepidation. But despite the revelation about strange powers, Gunther’s priority remained fixed on completing their mission. They had a duty to fulfill, and nothing would deter them from seeing it through.

Gunther’s gaze drifted to the mark on his arm, he had discovered himself that he belonged to Howard’s faction. He just didn’t know what kind of power he has.

Was it super strength, allowing him to lift massive weights with ease? Or perhaps superspeed, enabling him to move with lightning-fast reflexes? Or maybe it was super endurance, granting him the ability to withstand even the most grueling challenges. Whatever the case, Gunther was determined to find out, to unlock the secrets of his newfound abilities. But before then, he has a mission to complete.

The bus continued on its journey, the landscape rolling by in a blur as Gunther and his partners pushed on, heading towards the eting point.
