Kael couldn’t help but feel a newfound respect for the Primordial Genesis Sutra and whatever entity that created such a technique.

The more he learned about the technique, the more absurd it seed.

A cultivation thod capable of turning the body’s cells into planets. One that could eventually evolve those sa cells into stars, solar systems, galaxies, and even sothing as mighty as a universe. It was difficult to imagine what kind of existence could have created sothing like this.

His thoughts instinctively drifted toward the mysterious entity that had interfered during his tutorial.

The being that had stared down at him from beyond reality itself back in the instance.

Even now, rely recalling those two entities, especially the one with that gaze in that instance, made him feel small.

Could the creator of the Primordial Genesis Sutra be on that level?

Or perhaps even higher?

The possibility sent a shiver down his spine.

Then a grin slowly appeared on his face.

One day, he would find out.

Not by asking questions.

But by reaching that level himself.

The thought filled him with anticipation. For a brief mont, he could almost picture it. Standing among those incomprehensible existences as an equal rather than looking up at them from below.

Fortunately, common sense returned before his ego got too inflated.

"Okay... that’s probably a little arrogant."

Kael rubbed his forehead.

It was good to be ambitious.

It was not good to start believing he was invincible after cultivating a handful of cells.

Overconfidence was one of the fastest ways to get himself killed.

Especially in a world where people could level mountains and tear apart cities.

With a small shake of his head, he pushed those thoughts aside and rose from the bed.

As he stretched his body, another thought surfaced.

Compared to his previous life, his growth rate was ridiculous.

Almost unfair.

Back then, he had awakened late.

His talent had been diocre.

His progress had been slow.

Every step forward had required countless hours of effort.

The future version of himself had struggled for years just to reach the level he possessed now.

Yet his current self had accomplished all of this in less than a week.

Less than a week.

The thought still felt surreal.

Not only had he awakened earlier, but he had also obtained opportunities that his future self hadn’t even known existed.

The SSS-rated tutorial completion.

The SSS-ranked skills.

The Staff of Unmaking.

Even now, he wasn’t entirely sure what the rank truly represented.

His future self had never encountered such a thing.

The highest rank known publicly was S-Rank.

Yet within a matter of days, Kael had sohow obtained multiple items and abilities that surpassed that limit entirely.

It almost felt unreal.

By the ti he reached the age his future self had died...

How strong would he beco?

The question lingered in his mind as he left his room.

A few days of growth had already transford him this much.

What about a year?

What about five?

Ten?

A decade from now, would he even recognize himself?

Would he still be the sa person?

The thought was impossible to answer.

Still, Kael found himself smiling.

For the first ti in a very long ti, the future felt exciting.

As he stepped into the living room, a familiar sll imdiately greeted him.

Breakfast.

His stomach growled almost instantly.

The scent drifted through the apartnt, rich and inviting.

Kael followed it toward the kitchen.

The room itself was empty.

Lyra was nowhere to be seen.

However, sitting neatly on the dining table was a covered plate.

A small sticky note rested on top.

Kael picked it up and read the familiar handwriting.

"Dummy,

I knocked on your door this morning but apparently the dead would have responded faster than you.

I’m heading into the tower to test out my new gear.

I left breakfast for you, so don’t forget to eat it.

I don’t know when I’ll be back, so don’t spend the whole day hiding in your room gaming all day and forget to eat.

-Lyra"

Kael stared at the note for a few seconds before chuckling.

"The dead would have responded faster..."

That definitely sounded like her.

He folded the note and placed it beside the plate before uncovering breakfast.

A smile imdiately appeared on his face.

As expected, Lyra had prepared enough food for two normal people.

He pulled out a chair and began eating.

Truthfully, he understood her excitent.

After receiving equipnt like the Staff of Unmaking, it would have been stranger if she hadn’t rushed off to test it.

The staff was absurdly powerful.

With that weapon in her possession, the lower floors of the tower posed little threat to her.

Well...

Unless she decided to challenge Hell difficulty.

Kael imdiately dismissed the possibility.

Lyra wasn’t reckless.

She wasn’t the type to throw herself into impossible situations for fun.

Unlike a certain soone.

Nightmare difficulty was probably the highest she would attempt.

As he continued eating, his thoughts drifted back toward the morning.

He genuinely hadn’t heard her knocking earlier.

Not even a little.

That realization made him frown slightly.

It seed he had underestimated just how much concentration the Primordial Genesis Sutra demanded.

When cultivating, his awareness of the outside world beca frighteningly weak.

Which only reinforced his earlier decision.

Cultivating inside a rift was a terrible idea.

At least for now.

Trying to maintain that level of focus while monsters road nearby was practically asking to die.

Of course, things might change later.

Once Varek finished absorbing the Instance Core, his strength would increase significantly.

Depending on how powerful he beca, Kael might reconsider the idea and have Varek stand guard while he cultivated.

For now, however, that was a problem for the future.
