The vault was chaos—shattered pods leaking green fluid, sparks raining from broken consoles, the air thick with smoke and blood. Xavier stood with the Shadowfang Daggers in his hands, his chest heaving, his body battered but unbroken. The shadows clung to him like armor, flickering across his fra as if the darkness itself had chosen him.

Bignath staggered, her monstrous form bleeding from a dozen cuts. Her claws dripped ichor, her breath ca ragged, but her eyes still burned with fury. She snarled, her voice echoing through the chamber like a curse.

"You think you’ve won? You’re nothing but a useless F-rank! An animal clawing at scraps! You don’t belong in the ranks of evolution—you belong in the dirt!"

Her words were venom, ant to break him. She spat blood onto the floor, her fangs glistening, her towering form trembling with rage.

"You’re beneath , animal. You always will be. A failed experint. A mistake."

Xavier’s grip tightened on the daggers. His veins burned, his heart thundered, but his spirit refused to yield. He stepped forward, his voice low, sharp, and unyielding.

"Maybe I am an animal. Maybe I am F-rank. But I’m still standing. And you’re about to fall, you fucking bitch."

Bignath roared, lunging with her claws. The vault shook as her monstrous strength tore through steel beams, sparks raining down. Xavier slipped into the shadows, reappearing behind her, slashing across her back. She scread, spinning, unleashing a sonic wave that rattled the chamber. The sound cracked walls, shattered chains, and sent mutants collapsing—but Xavier braced himself, his daggers glowing crimson, absorbing the force.

He surged forward, faster than her eyes could follow. His blades carved across her arms, her chest, her legs—each strike precise, each cut deeper. She staggered, her claws swinging wildly, her screams growing desperate. The predator was being hunted.

Finally, Xavier leapt high, shadows swirling around him, and descended with a roar. His daggers crossed in an X, slamming into her chest. The impact unleashed a burst of shadow energy, exploding outward in a storm of crimson and black. The vault trembled, the chained mutants shrieked, and Bignath collapsed to her knees, her monstrous form convulsing under the force.

She clawed at him, snarling, but her strength faltered. The daggers burned with shadow fire, consuming her from within. Her scream turned into a guttural howl, then into silence as her body slumped, trembling, ichor spilling across the floor.

Xavier stood over her, chest heaving, his daggers dripping with black blood. The shadows receded, leaving him battered but unbroken. He looked down at her fallen form, his voice steady, his words final.

"You called an animal. You called useless. But I’m still here. And you’re the one lying in the dirt. How does that feel? "

Bignath’s yellow eyes flickered weakly, her monstrous form twitching. She tried to rise, but her body betrayed her. The cuts were too deep, the shadow energy too overwhelming. She collapsed again, her breath shallow, her voice hoarse.

"This... isn’t... over..."

Xavier lowered his daggers, his body trembling, but his spirit unyielding. He turned away, leaving her broken, unconscious, but alive. He hadn’t killed her. He didn’t need to.

She was defeated.

She was knocked out.

Xavier breathed a sigh of relief as he stared at the unconscious body of Bignath. He had won. The last ti he had lost woefully but that was in the past.

The system had helped him this ti around giving him an A-rank weapon like this. The blades were beautiful and yet powerful at the sa ti since they were able to take out Bignath so easily.

Now his main priority was to leave Carragis. He was done being here. He was done slling foul dungeon air, blood, and sli. He wanted to breathe fresh air.

’System,’ He called out. ’Tell about the Shadowfang Daggers.]

[The Shadowfang Daggers were created when a famous assassin who had lost his wife when a rival criminal organisation he had taken a job against, had traded his soul to the Shadow God for a weapon he would use to have his revenge, and then he would beco a tool for the God.]

Xavier studied the text with an unreadable expression on his face. So this Dagger was created for revenge? Then that ans he will use it for his own gain and have his own revenge.

He turned to where Bignath lay on the ground. She was unconscious but she was still breathing. He wanted to kill her but decided not to, and that’s because he needed her to get him out of the Carragis dungeon first.

And there was sothing else that he had noticed. He still rembered the words when he was still hanging upside down on the chain.

"Please accept my apologies, Great Demaranian." Theron had said sarcastically. "I just finished my special project. It just took a lot of ti. "

He had a special project, and he was sure that Theron had left it behind, so he was going to see for himself what it was. He knew Theron was going to co back the mont he heard Bignath had killed him, so he wasn’t going to take any chances.

If Theron’s special project was a biological weapon or artifact, even an armour, he was going to take it, and he was going to use it.

His mind settled, he stared down at the grotesque creature before him. He smiled cruelly as he just imagined sothing.

It was ti to wake her up from her peaceful slumber. Gently, of course.
