The two went to the designated location of the mission. Specifically the Hero's Graveyard located within the Monastery graveyard. Upon seeing the monastery graveyard, it's gate was rotten by rust and vines were presently entangling the gates. Protruding on it were thorns and the place slled Death.
Its presence was worrying the camp as it was just nearby and was teeming with rotten undead. So were Skeletonized Rotten and were faster than it's normal type.
Also, the wind battered the catacombs of the fallen heroes and it created a howling abyss-like ambiance. The fog was also not helping in their current situation.
The feeling within was cold and the Cavern of Evil paled in comparison when it cos to its horrors and ambiance. The two proceeded and Kenji felled two rotten undead. Making two skeletons on the process. One was using one handed sword and one was two handed. Both attacked in the sa pattern as Kenji. Making him impressive just to look at the two.
rlin on the contrary, used fireballs and flas in succession. Making his enemies ignited and burned in the process. His attacks were enough to light up the darkness of the night and the two bided their ti till they felled more and more of them.
Luckily, there were no elites that has elental damages that could be a problem for the two. It was a smooth sailing ship until they arrived at the graveyard of the Heroes.
It was a place that has a heavy Aura of death and the three corrupted heroes were already waiting for them. They stood there for many years now and they were restless.
According to the Lore, they were the playable heroes of the past entry of the ga. Specifically the "Grim Dark 1" and now, was the second franchise which was the "Grim Dark 2". They were the beloved heroes of the past ga and it infuriated the fans of the injustice of the ga.
Still, it was what the ga was all about. "The Darkness is always a step further than the Light and Darkness was always winning. Where the Hell is a broad road and Heaven is a narrow path. And where the Good has lost to Evil."
They were the fallen heroes of the past. But what about it? He could reap their souls and make them his Shadow Lords! Making Kenji to drool in sheer excitent.
But the problem was, how? They looked like they were still in their pri even with them in their undying forms. They still looked strong and were lively even in their deathly pale expressions.
The thing was, they could still fight like fighting the Primordial Evils. Though with their deaths, they were slightly in their insanity and not yet sober and unclear minds. Tainted with evil and without their sober minds, they were like walking monsters and their humanity was stripped off from them. The thing was, without their past minds, they would be the sa as walking corpse without their battle instincts and combat style.
With that theory in mind, Kenji thought that they would be easier prey than a predator. A disadvantage and handicap from them could be used effectively and efficiently.
They sized up the enemies and still, they were standing in the graveyard like guards. Upon sensing them, they were imdiately angered like hounds that were territorial to their territory. They entered the enemy territory and then those eyes that were cold beca like fire burning with rage. They angered the three and then Kenji and rlin imdiately went on guard.
The two skeletons imdiately attacked the Swordsman hero and they imdiately clashed with their swords.
Kenji attacked the Legendary Ranger and then it rained arrows to him. rlin faced the Arc Mage and they clashed with spell to spell.
The Sword Saint clashed with the skeletons. Though even with Kenji's battle style, they proved to be having difficulty. The one handed sword skeleton focused on facing the swordsman and distracts the Sword Saint then the two handed skeleton attacked in so tis when it was distracted and that it saw that has chances to attack. But still, it could block even without looking from its back.
The two skeletons danced like in synced and attacked like two Kenji but the Sword Saint was able to negate every move. The one handed skeleton attacked with more speed and thrusts his sword in rapid succession and the two handed skeleton slashed from his back and attacked in his blind spots. Though the Sword Saint repelled every single attack and then singlehandedly soloed the two.
Kenji on the contrary was rained with arrows. So were magic arrows and so were poisoned ones. Making Kenji dash to the side to just evade them. Making him leap towards her in a back flip then was fired with arrows while above her.
Kenji then slashed and parried the arrows that ca rushing towards him and then slashed towards her. Making her frozen on the spot. Though her health was still tantamount and Kenji has to hit her multiple tis. And also, if she fired arrows in point blank range, it would be difficult to parry her. And so, Kenji used soul fire and freezing attack in succession.
rlin on the other part, was having difficulty. The enemy used all types of magic and he on the contrary was only using several types of them. He was used with Force field, Illusion, Telekinesis, Spatial, Ethereal, Elental, Healing, Buffs, Support, Ti, and Psychic types. Making him to have be easily defeated.
But before he was defeated, he made a huge explosion to make his enemy's life to half.
Kenji then defeated the Ranger and then attacked the Mage. He used drain and the enemy attacked him with spells. He healed himself and then used ti stop on Kenji's area. Making him to evade it and then still used the ti to dash to him.
Imdiately, he slashed him but his attacks passed through the body of the Mage. Making an ethereal spell was high tier of magic mastery. Sa with spatial and Illusion.
The enemy teleported on his back and used a binding spell on him. Kenji on the contrary was able to negate the skill by interrupting it. Making the enemy to get hit but has elental shield so the freezing effect was useless for now. Still, he was wounded and used heal again. But Kenji's Drain skill was able to churn down his enemy's health, stamina, and Mana. Making him to have difficulty.
His mana regeneration was great but it was only being stolen by Kenji.
Though using Drain skill in huge lengths of ti was a great burden for his mind and the toll was great. Making him hold on for just winning the fight. And it proved effective as the enemy has almost used up his mana for using high tier skills.
Kenji then dashed and slashed his head and then it was flung on the process. With it, he thought that it was finished but the ti spell activated and ti went back a bit for him. The ti when his head was still intact. Making Kenji to repeat the sa process and the enemy rewinded the ti couple of tis before it stopped as the mana or the spell of the enemy has run out.
Sa with the Sword Saint, his stamina was worn down by the skeletons as the skeletons doesn't have stamina and were in full energy ever since the battle begun and as it has ended. They decapitated and butchered the Swords Saint like it was a monster. The enemies were all fallen and then Kenji saw a notification.
