When the Earth’s ti had stopped, Ainsworth was surprised that even the Dinsional Void beyond the Dinsional Gate, as well as the worlds connected to it, were included in the scope of the ti stop.
He couldn’t help but speculate on whether the ti stop only affected an entire solar system or the entire universe.
As for how he knew, it was due to the Dinsional Gate being connected to the Dinsional Void. The Dinsional Void was the realm between worlds, and it was mostly used as the battlefield of S-rank powerhouses and above.
After all, a casual punch of an SS-rank Awakener like him can shatter multiple continents and even wipe out the entire surface of a planet.
If such an exaggerated destructive power were to befall Earth, even with the Earth Will’s direct suppression of the attacks’ destruction on the environnt, destroying cities and countries would be just the aftermath of the battle.
Because of that, Ainsworth felt that the God-Level Guardian talent to be very useful, especially in a situation like the otherworld invasion.
As soon as he had seen the choice options, Ainsworth had already asked the God-Level Choice System for the information regarding the rewards and so far, God-Level Guardian talent suited him the most.
Of course, not because it truly suited him, but it was the best option among the three.
Supre Master-Level Swordsmanship was too below in proficiency level when compared to God-Level. If Grandmaster-Level proficiency corresponded to SSS-rank, then Supre Master-Level was only at the X-rank.
Although proficiency and talent at X-rank would be great, it paled in comparison to God-Level Talents. Even the God-Level Traitor talent was quite useful if he was villainous.
After all, having the God-Level Traitor talent made it easier for him to betray others due to them having the impression of not directing suspicion toward him. It also had the ability to let people other than him beco the scapegoat and direct all the suspicion and scrutiny that should have befallen him toward others for them to take the bla.
As a Traitor at God-Level Proficiency and Talent, wasn’t it just normal operations to not be caught in the act of treachery?
But no matter how great it was, Ainsworth never planned to beco humanity’s greatest traitor. It didn’t align with his plans of being with Elyndra as becoming the enemy of humanity would make it more difficult for him to court her unless they both elope to the Otherworld together.
Since the Supre Master-Level Swordsmanship was too low-level for his taste (due to receiving multiple God-Level Talents and using them as a minimum standard), Ainsworth opted for the God-Level Guardian talent.
The God-Level Guardian talent was very useful. Not only did it make him beco stronger if he was guarding soone or sothing, but it also allowed him to fully guard what he was protecting.
He could use an innate ability of the God-Level Guardian talent which was "Guardian’s Sanctuary".
Guardian’s Sanctuary allowed him to establish a sanctuary and designate sothing he wanted to protect. Those he wanted to guard and protect wouldn’t be hard as long as the attacks landed on them couldn’t harm him as well. If it could, then he could choose to bear the damage himself.
For example, an attack of S-rank Awakeners unless they have rule-based abilities wouldn’t be able to bypass his defenses. Nevertheless, that didn’t change the fact that their destructive power could easily destroy a country.
Since their attack power could destroy a country, even if it wouldn’t harm Ainsworth as his defense was higher, the shockwave of their attack could still destroy the surroundings.
And that’s where the Guardian’s Sanctuary ca in. As long as he designated Edenbridge City as his sanctuary and the target he’d guard and protect, then as long as the otherworld invaders’ attacks couldn’t bypass his defense, it naturally wouldn’t cause any destruction to Edenbridge City.
All the destructive power will be negated by his Guardian’s Sanctuary. That way, even an asphalt road would have a defense level that could even withstand nukes and country-destroying attacks.
Knowing that the Earth Will’s defense mission had also required him to prevent the destruction rate of Edenbridge City from reaching 50%, Ainsworth decisively chose Choice 2, and as ti resud, he received and used the God-Level Guardian talent.
Afterward, he imdiately chose to accept the defense mission issued by the Earth Will.

[Three-Star A-rank Awakener Ainsworth Arthurford has accepted the Defense Mission: Protect Edenbridge City (SS )!]
After Ainsworth received that notification from the Voice of The World, he decided to keep his word and watch near the Dinsional Gate, guarding it.
Although the Earth Will had promised he could choose to desert the mission whenever he wanted to, only a fool would choose to do that especially when his true power under various buffs could reach an estimate of SSS-rank Awakener power. And worst ca to worst, he still had the SSS-rank Power Experience Card.
While Ainsworth was hiding his presence via Unremarkable Presence (SS), he soon noticed spatial fluctuations around the Dinsional Gate.
Soon enough, a silhouette was about to leave the Dinsional Gate and about to step into the lands of Earth and invade it but Ainsworth reacted even faster.
Without any hesitation, he chanted, "Guardian’s Sanctuary!"
With him as the center, waves of bright light with a golden hue soon spread out like waves, enveloping the entire city in an impervious formation.
The Guardian’s Sanctuary was a change that most Awakeners in the city didn’t notice. Even though they knew that a dinsional gate had probably descended and were already evacuating, they weren’t able to perceive the formation of the Guardian’s Sanctuary.
Ainsworth had ensured that the Guardian’s Sanctuary would not only protect the surrounding environnt but also the people within the city.
Of course, Ainsworth wasn’t that selfless and he wouldn’t make it a weakness of himself. He rely set the limit of that to what he could bear without having to cost anything.
If it was an attack that would injure him severely, then he could only let the surroundings be destroyed and the people caught in the aftermath be killed.
In just under a second after Ainsworth set up the Guardian’s Sanctuary, a group of 3-ter tall humanoid bull-like beasts with molten crimson horns and obsidian armor-like skin ca out from the Dinsional Gate. They were wielding steel-like weapons as big as themselves, ranging from war hamrs to war axes.
Ainsworth imdiately recognized them as Crimson Horn Minotaurs. They were A-rank monsters capable of using the skill of Bloodline Resonance. With Bloodline Resonance, those nearby minotaurs could boost each other’s attack power.
Not only that, they also have a Raging Charge skill that allowed them to accelerate at supersonic speed, and just a tackle of their body at that speed could pierce through fortress walls and most defenses below A-rank.
In just a few seconds, A-rank Crimson Horn Minotaurs kept on coming out of the dinsional gate. Their numbers had already ford a small army and had just recently broken the hundred mark.
If not for their lack of intelligence, they would even be a difficult enemy for his Zombie Apocalypse World’s Church of Evolution to deal with as those Apostles/Evolver Overlords were only comparable to B-rank Awakeners.
In other words, this showed the importance of a world having a high power level limit. No matter how talented the protagonists of the world were, only those few exceptions could transcend the power level limit. But even then, it’s still unlikely for them to be stronger than those who were born in a world with a high power level limit.
The Earth also didn’t have a high power level limit at the start. It was only due to the smart model of copying the Main God Space and Reincarnation Paradise that the Earth Will chose to use the Otherworlds as the whetstones for the earthlings’ growth.
The world origin plundered by the Awakeners from the Otherworlds would then be used to increase the power level limit of the Awakeners.
After seeing the Crimson Horn Minotaurs co out of the dinsional gate, Ainsworth sighed in disappointnt, "I was half-expecting goblins and orcs to appear and then I’ll get the urban fantasy experience of defending a dinsional gate like those in most novels I’ve read in my past life."
"Unfortunately, this one is a legit SS-rank Dinsional Gate and the fodders that ca out were already A-rank monsters. Even so of the teachers at Edenbridge High were only A-rank Awakeners with the rest being S-rank Awakeners."
Edenbridge High School was already best three high schools globally yet most of its school staff could only deal with an S-rank Dinsional Gate at most.
An SS-rank Dinsional Gate would require the principal’s intervention but since the principal was currently partaking in an Otherworld Mission, Ainsworth took his place and decided to defend Edenbridge City!
