Chapter 68: An Original Heir (II) [Bonus Chapter for Massive Golden Tickets Support]
It wasn’t just the students who were confused; even some of the instructors were stirred from their seats.
"What is that?"
An instructor asked, and they watched as Vice Rohan once more reclined on his seat, placing his leg on the table once more.
It was something the man did when he was relaxed.
"Good Old Nietzsche Ability."
He said, but noticing the instructors’ silence continued.
"As some of you might already know, before the Big Four Families were a thing at all, there was a single Family at the Peak of Power."
"Older than the Big Four, older than all of the academies and even the United Earth Federation."
"The Nietzsche Family."
An Instructor called out.
"They were one of the first Awakeners of Earth, on the frontlines against Humanity’s retaliation with the Supernaturals, and they were renowned for having the highest survival rate in the War."
"Enough survival to make them increase their numbers at a time when entire familial awakening bloodline could all be erased in one night, and they came together, establishing themselves as an Original Family."
"All of that survival was thanks to that unique ability of theirs: Nietzsche Manifestation."

Three more successive punches and kicks were delivered by White at Davinci, but as ever, the boy wasn’t harmed at all.
All he did after every kick was simply take a step back, avoiding White’s fist remaining in him.
This made White halt his attacks and begin to think instead, but...Davinci didn’t allow that.
BOOOOM!
White felt the reverberation behind his head, and he snapped back, crossing both arms.
The punch pierced through his hands like it didn’t exist, but when it got to White’s chest, it suddenly solidified,
BAANG!
White was blown back, yet in that split second, his leg whipped out like a whip, but it missed Davinci’s jaw.
White landed on the ground, jumping once and somersaulting before landing on his feet.
He turned towards Davinci, who had the same bizarre expression of his, but then, the boy froze as his hands reached his jaw.
There, one could see a slight cut, a single line of dark blood dripping out.
The sight of it made White grin, forgetting the stinging pain in his chest.
’So, when he attacks, he leaves his ephemeral state and gains physicality, huh?’
White thought quietly to himself, but then the deeper thought hit him.
’But why did he attack and expose himself? To stop me from thinking and figuring out his ability?’
He mused, appearing to settle into deep thought, and the second that happened, he confirmed it.
Nietzsche stepped towards him, whipping a kick to the side of his head.
White raised his left hand to dodge, but just like before, that was a mistake as Nietzsche’s leg weaved through his hand only to solidify in the space in between.
It slammed into the side of White’s head like a slap, sending him a step to the side.
He kicked outward after, but it pierced through Nietzsche like he didn’t exist.
He already settled back to his ephemeral form.
The boy punched towards White’s face once more as White raised his hands to his face to dodge, but once more, it pierced through, sliding before White’s face and slamming into his nose.
But this time, as if he expected it, he reacted quickly, kicking towards the Davinci’s lower waist.
The attack reached the boy this time, managing to send him taking two steps backwards.
Punching outwards towards his face, Nietzsche didn’t block, and White’s fist pierced through him like he didn’t exist.
His hands remained there, in Nietzsche’s body, but he soon watched as the boy took a step to the side, leaving White’s trajectory.
"So that’s it, huh?"
White mused with a sickening smile, which soon deteriorated into a deranged cackle from him.
"ACTIVATE LIMITLESS BODY!"
BOOOOOOOM!
Shockwave rippled through the stage as White punched with devastating power towards Nietzsche’s face.
It ripped through his head and didn’t harm him in the slightest.
This time, White didn’t wait for Nietzsche to step away from the trajectory.
Instead,
BOOOOOM!
A second explosion followed as his legs slammed through Nietzsche’s ribs, weaving through the entire body to come out the other side.
BOOOOOM!
A third attack barely a second after,
BOOOOOM!
A fourth attack, in less than a second after.
BOOOOM!
A fifth attack in half a second after,
Soon, all the students could see was White becoming a blur as he released dozens upon dozens of attacks at the standing Davinci.
The boy, as mysterious as ever, took it all without flinching, not even once, but then the students began to notice as time passed by, Davinci started to react more.
He started to try to dodge even though the attacks weren’t harming him, and soon enough, he was fully dodging all of White’s attacks, even as they didn’t hurt him.
"Why is he doing that?"
It wasn’t just the students who were asking that question; even the instructors were left confused.
If White’s ceaseless attacks weren’t doing any damage, which they obviously weren’t, then why was the boy trying to dodge?
"See, the Nietzsche family manifestation was almost unparalleled in the First Supernatural War. No physical attacks, human or supernatural, could get through them."
Vice Rohan continued,
"A werewolf’s claws that could rip through bones and flesh did little to nothing to an Original Nietzsche Heir."
"A vampire’s bite didn’t work on them, nor does a Titan’s brute force damage them in any way."
’They seemed invisible, but...they weren’t."
"Their Achilles-like defense just like Achilles’ had a flaw."
Vice Rohan said, and another Instructor completed,
"If an attack remains in them for long, it will begin to drain their energy...very fast."
It was a tall man with spectacles, none other than Instructor Iritis.
"Exactly."
Vice Rohan said.
"Punch at an Original Heir, and your attack will do nothing."
"But keep your fist inside him and do not withdraw, and his energy will begin to drain rapidly, eventually making him unable to keep the Nietzsche Manifestation active."
"Then...Even an Original Heir will succumb to eventual death."
Vice Rohan said, making the instructors’ eyes narrow as they turned back to the stage.
It had seemed stupid to them as White began attacking like a savage.
If his attacks weren’t getting through, shouldn’t he just stop?
But now, they understood.
He wasn’t attacking for attacking’s sake.
He was attacking in fury, because that way Nietzsche wouldn’t be able to dodge fast enough, making sure that White’s own body part was in him at all times, thereby draining away his energy.
"You know what’s even shocking?"
Vice Rohan said, rising to his feet to walk closer to the edge of the glass as if wanting to take an even better look at the fight.
"What is?"
An instructor asked.
"How did that boy discover a secret that took the Supernaturals three years to understand in just a few seconds of fighting?"
