Chapter 78: Attribute Compositions, Classes
Multiple students raised their hands upon hearing Teacher Rosa’s question.
Lexie also raised her hand, not trying to keep it a secret from everyone that she got experience points as well.
Desther, though, remained seated and did not announce his gains during that ti.
"Good job to all of you. That only ans that you are already on the path of becoming strong."
"Now, for those who were not able to receive experience points, you don’t have to worry about it. As long as you kill enough monsters, experience points are bound to co sooner or later."
"Alright, since so of you already managed to receive experience points, let
discuss with you what will happen once the accumulated amount reaches 100%. First things first, of course, your level will go up, and at the sa ti, you will receive Free Attributes."
"Now, who among you here knows what the Free Attributes are? You over there can answer this question."
The student stood up and answered confidently, "Teacher, Free Attributes are attributes that would freely allocate to our Primary Attributes."
"Good job, you are correct!"
"Aside from that, Free Attributes are also the only way to use Awakened Professionals to increase our base strength. Free Attributes are very important, hence one could only obtain them once an Awakened Professional levels up."
"There are certain potions or items that increase Attribute Points, but most of them would be automatically assigned to any of your random Primary Attributes."
The students nodded their heads in understanding. They knew well enough how rare Free Attributes were.
"As everyone knows, once an Awakened Professional reaches level 10, they would need to transition to a class before they could move up to level 11 and beco a Tier 1 Professional."
"Now, each class could be unlocked depending on your Primary Attributes composition. For example, an Awakened Professional with a ratio of 35% Strength, and 30% Vitality, and the remaining 35% divided among the last three for their Primary Attribute would most likely awaken a warrior-type class upon their transition."
"Comperatively, an Awakened Professional with a ratio of 35% Intelligence and 30% wisdom would most likely awaken a mage-like class. For the archers and assassins, it was usually the Agility that played the major role."
"This is also the reason why every Free Attribute is important. Each Free Attribute you have could determine what kind of Awakened Professional you wanted to be in the future."
"Every ti you allocate your Free Attribute, you must think carefully, as it could no longer be reversed easily. Plan it out and do not carelessly dump your Free Attributes carelessly."
"I have a list here of all known classes that any of you could beco. You can take a look and tell
what class you want to build into so I can give you the detailed data on how to pursue that class. Of course, this only applies to those who are still undecided on what kind of Awakened Professional they would beco in the future.
Teacher Rosa handed out a sheet of paper that contained the list of Tier 1 Class nas.
Desther received one as he curiously looked at it.
As of this mont, he still remained undecided as to what kind of Awakened Professional he would beco in the future.
In regard to Teacher Rosa saying that every Free Attribute you assigned should be planned out in advance, Desther naturally ignored those words.
Even if he carelessly dumped all of his attributes to Strength right now, he knew that he would still be able to get the class he wanted because of the existence of the Ultimate Theft talent.
For others, Free Attributes might be rare, but for Desther, it could be said that he was a factory of them.
Desther took a look at the list given by Teacher Rosa.
’I did not expect that there are actually a lot of classes available for us to choose...’
The list consists of the nas of the class they could transition to, as well as the basic description and capabilities of each class.
Warrior: Strong professional that focuses on lee and physical attacks.
Shield Warrior: A branch of the warrior path wherein Vitality is the highest attribute instead of Strength.
Archer: Agility type class that focuses on long-range attack. Good vision and can be a scout.
Mage: A professional that could deal massive damage in a short period of ti. Great for those who want to stay in the backline. Fragile, but lethal.
The list goes on all the way down the last space of the sheet of paper.
Most of them, Desther was no longer familiar with.
However, most of them were just variations of the most common classes, like warriors, mages, and archers.
Things like hidden classes were also common. Most of them could only be awakened depending on the Awakener’s Talent, though.
For example, an Awakened Professional with a Fire Affinity talent has a higher chance of becoming a Fire Mage once they transition to Tier 1 if they prioritize their Intelligence attribute.
If they do the opposite and enhance their other attributes, corresponding classes would also appear for them to choose. After all, classes were directly affected by one’s attribute points.
Looking at all of the descriptions, Desther still felt unusually unsatisfied.
Even the most fearso-sounding class na did not move him.
Maybe because of his current strength, he had now started to look down on such classes.
’Is it possible to directly skip a Tier 1 Class and go for a Tier 2 class instead?’
This thought could not help but sprout in his mind.
Reaching level 20 also allowed an Awakened Professional to do another transition.
They could transition to an advanced or a branch version of their current class, or they could completely transition to a new one tailored to their experience.
If it was possible, Desther would surely want to skip the weak Tier 1 Class and directly beco a Tier 2 class holder instead.
’I wonder if my Ultimate Theft talent has a hidden class as well, though. If so, what kind of attribute ratio would it be to unlock it?’
For Fire Mages, Sword Warrior and many other hidden classes, they still usually divide their attributes according to their main class.
Of course, such hidden classes were usually stronger than their main counterparts.
Unfortunately, Desther has no one to copy, so if he wants to discover the hidden class of his talent, then he could only do it on his own.
Looking around, he noticed that his classmates were already starting to reconsider so of their choices.
Just like him, so of them only saw so of the classes this ti around.
The fancy nas could have gotten to their heads, making them change their decision.
After a while, Teacher Rosa finally decided to speak up.
"Alright settle down."
"I’m sure so of you have already made your choices. I won’t interfere in this regard, but I will be the one who will guide you in your journey moving forward."
"Hence, in the following week, we will be focusing on killing monsters and helping you guys level up until you reach level 10."
"I expect all of you to reach Level 10 before the end of the month, understand?"
The others nodded their heads in understanding.
Teacher Rosa’s expectation of them was actually this high.
"Alright. Tomorrow, we will be going on a field trip. Make sure to prepare in advance. Our destination will be the Western Wilderness. We will be staying there for as long as possible. Don’t worry, we will have other teachers and professionals to accompany us as well."
"Alright, class dismissed!"
Teacher Rosa left the room, leaving the students tongue-tied.
"What? Western Wilderness? Isn’t that too dangerous? There are even a lot of monsters there compared to the dungeon." One student complained the mont Teacher Rosa got out of his view.
"Well, there is no other choice. Most regulated dungeons do not give that many experience points per monster killed since they can respawn. In the wilderness, monster respawn does not occur, hence, we have a higher chance of obtaining experience points if we are to hunt them," Lexie explained.
"Ahhh.. I see."
"But if we just continue to farm monsters inside a regulated dungeon, we are bound to gain experience points and reach level 10, right?"
The others were attracted to their conversation. Perking their ears as they tried to listen to gain information.
"Yes, and no. First things first, if we only use a regulated dungeon to level up, we can indeed gain experience points if we kill enough monsters. However, in the wilderness, for the sa amount of monsters killed, there’s a chance we could already gather enough to increase our level," Lexie answered.
Victor nodded his head in agreent as he chid in.
"Although the danger is there, the rewards are also present. Not to ntion, only in such an environnt would we be able to gain real strength. Gaining strength in a controlled environnt like a regulated dungeon is not as good as gaining it outside in the real world."
The students offered their opinion one after the other except Desther.
By this ti, his mind was already occupied as to what kind of composition he would do for his talent’s hidden class.
After a few monts, his classmates stood up from their seats, preparing to leave the room.
Desther did not want to stay in the room either, so he stood up and prepared to leave.
However, at that mont, a figure suddenly approached him.
