I’m dead, I knew it, if only I could see my babies before I go, but I trust in Nicklaus, I trust he would protect them no matter what, because that was my last wish to him.

"What are you doing here?"

I gasped at the sudden familiar voice and I flashed my eyes open. I was in a white spatial hall, spotless white and Celeste was before with a sweet smile on her lips.

"Celeste!" I yelled engulfing her in a bear hug and she laughed pulling away.

"I asked what are you doing here, you shouldn’t be here Nicklaus wil-"

’"I died"

At my words she froze. "He didn’t make it in ti did he?"

I nodded as the tears fell. "I’m so sorry Celeste because of you-"

"Hush now silly girl, I don’t regret it, I do not, I’m sure Nicklaus would tell my cute little bundles of love that I fought so hard for them"

"No," I cried, hugging her again.

"Shh," she smooched before pulling away.

"This isn’t supposed to be the end for you, your babies need you"

I shook my head. "I’m gone, Celeste"

"I think not, look" she nudged her head at sothing and I turned to it, a portal was open.

"Where does it lead to..."

"I don’t know but sothing is calling your soul, you best go to it"

I faced her and she gave the biggest smile cupping my cheek. "You’re the sister I never had,"

I placed my hand on hers. "Celeste"

"I love you sister now go, you can’t stay here for far too long and neither can I" she slowly fades.

"No!"

"Its okay, I have accepted it and you should too, but know this I will always watch over you and my brothers, it is not your ti"

She backed away and I couldn’t help the uncontrollable tears that gushed out of my eyes. It hurt so much to see her go but I believed a part of her will always live within .

"Give a ssage for ... to dear Bartholow..."

I sobbed, cleaned my tears and faced the opened portal and walked towards it. Celeste was right, it was not my ti yet, I will heed her wishes, Nicklaus and my babies need , not even death can do us apart.

"Always and forever" I stepped through, my eyes closed and only whooshing sounds filled my ears.

"Hello sweet Yelena"

I gasped my eyes open and ca into a familiar room and a very familiar root before . "Basker?"

"You have co just as we planned" he states.

"Wha-"

An image ford before us before I could speak further, the very scene from millennia ago, of my younger self before I was tethered off from the library.

"Sweet Yelena," Basker said to my younger self. Nicklaus has left the library and it was like a hole was plunged into her heart, she was heartbroken and sad. All alone once again when she finally found soone to be with.

"You knew this was coming... I told you not to get too attached, he was bound to leave the very mont he ca here"

"I-I know... but it hurts so much that I can’t take it... right here", she pointed her finger to her chest.

My eyes went teary because I could feel it... her pain, the loneliness, and the longing, she felt for him.

"Why didn’t you show your true self to him?" Basker asked.

She sniffled, wiping the tears away. "Because," she said, her eyes on the fireplace. "He has a goal he wants to fulfill, I don’t want to be the one to hold him back," she shook her head. "Revealing my true self would have only made things worse"

"But you’re the one hurting right now... even if it’s just a little, that fragnt of affections he would have shown you, you would have held onto it, to fill the hole in your heart," Basker said.

She shook her head. "No Basker... watching him grow in knowledge, watching him practice, was everything" she faced him, tears still circling her eyes. There was a prolonged silence between the two but I could tell Basker felt her pain.

"We have been together for a long ti..." he began. "But this is the first ti I have seen your pain. There is a way to see him again"

Her eyes slowly widened. "There is?"

"Yes, Rebirth"

"Rebirth?"

"Yes but it cos with a very high price. With Rebirth you get to be a magical creature belonging to their dinsion, get to be reborn in their world, but the price you will pay..." he paused for a minute. "Your spirit connected to the Library will be broken and your fate will be in pieces, shattered with no fragnts of any ending, you shall experience many misfortunes"

"Why are you telling this Basker?"

"Because..."

It was when the image distorted and I couldn’t tell what Basker told then but now I could.

"Because your unborn child is destined to succeed when I et my demise, my spirit is slowly fading and it’s my ti, It’s your son’s destiny, he will be my heir"

I gasped as the image vanished and I faced Basker. "All this was ant to happen?"

"Yes Yelena, your shattered fate have led you here"

"My son"

"Ease yourself Yelena I’m not a villain, your first son is rely my heir and who shall be the next anchor to the library"

"B-But the Holy Library does not belong to this plane, I will not see him again!"

"I’m afraid that is true but a sacrifice must be made in order to balance the earth, many will co for him before his soul is connected to this library"

"Nicklaus and I will protect him!"

"What has been made cannot be undone, your fate is no longer shattered for you have ended that line, which ans..." he raised a brow.

My eyes widen in realization. "No more misfortune"

"Yes"

My eyes are saddened. "Do not be sad Yelena, for your new fate will pave the way for your children, this is your first step. It is ti"

The place we were in vanished and I felt myself floating in the air and fading away. "Your soul shall be returned to your body, and your new fate begins"
