Nicklaus watch his wife like a hawk, it was hard enough to seat still yet alone when she called him master, he loved that word rolling off her tongue and made his heart swell in pride, but hard enough he had to hide it, she was the one who egged him about being a distraction and he sought to prove her wrong, Yelena wasn’t his first student, in fact, the entire vampire colony were his students funny enough, he was the one who taught them magic and broods them in the mastery of it so why was his wife a hard student?
Probably because he couldn’t take his eyes off her for a second, gods! Red was a wonderful color on her, the way her attire hung her body he could see all her enticing curves perfectly, she was just so wonderful and lovely, just for him, his jaw tightened, trying to keep himself from reaching for her, that would only interrupt her training and he couldn’t have that.
One look at her and he knew her magic was faint, it would be hard for her to weaponize it, she was only a half goddess now, but he knew she wouldn’t give up about training that easily, she was always a stubborn fox, to begin with so he sort a way for her with a gem, she can reshape that gem then her magic can co to the surface and it would be easier for her. There was sothing odd, it hadn’t been minutes but she was already sweating, she only just opened a portal and now trying to reshape a gem, even for soone with faint magic that wasn’t too much so why was she growing paler and usual and having a panicked breath?
Sothing doesn’t feel right. At the re thought of it, he was up on his feet in a matter of seconds sauntering towards her, he paused when he saw the gem reshaping and silver aura swirling around her.
The gem transford into an imaginary bow and arrow, Nicklaus was both stunned and impressed that she could do that in a short amount of ti but that wasn’t his concern, she was panting real bad that it scared him, her body trembling.
"That’s enough my love" he took her hand and the gem vanished. She flashed her eyes open drawing on her breath, beads of sweat hung her features, and then her body gave her, but thanks to his strong arms holding onto her body, she didn’t make the floor. Panic flushed Nicklaus’ features, and a deep fear within him, this scene was all too familiar and he froze as if he was like a wall.
"I-I-I don’t feel so good" she groaned resting her head against his chest.
"Yel-"
And then she emptied her stomach on him before passing out.

My head hurt so much and my body, gods I feel awful, what happened?
"Yelena" On hearing my husband’s voice I was forced to open my eyes and t with confused and worried ones.
"N-Nicklaus w-what-", I gasped as my eyes went wide and I sat up on the bed, covering my mouth.
"What is it, do you feel pain?" he asked, yanking back to him by holding onto my waist, but I still remained shocked.
"gods, love.... speak to !"
"I-I hurled on you didn’t I?!" I said biting my lip and relief flushed his features, he must have thought I was shocked by sothing else.
"Is that why you’re shocked?"
"Yes!" I said flushed. "All over you it was a ss wasn’t it," I said as my eyes scanned the new attire he had on.
"Hmm, the second ti you hurled on " he noted, I knew the first ti he spoke of, back at the Mortal Realm.
"I’m sorry" I whispered, getting covered in vomit wasn’t a pleasant scene at all!
"That is not what I’m worried about, your temperature was off, small magic like that shouldn’t do that to you" he incurred in a serious tone holding worry.
I blinked. "Oh..." I said feeling my forehead, I was hot and felt fuzzy but other than that I feel okay.
"Maybe I’m sick or sothing, these are the episodes you get when you’re sick"
"Sick?"
"Yes sick, don’t look at like that because you haven’t felt sick in your entire life" I snapped at the cringing look he gave . He frowned at my words and it was hard not to see it as cute because it was.
The doors barged open and Celeste walked in. "gods! I could hear both of you from the iron doors" she sighed, staring at us like we were two kids in a fight. "What is Nicklaus you panicked in the mind link, I got here as fast as I could"
"I’m fine"
"She’s sick"
Nicklaus and I said simultaneously.
"I see" Celeste strokes a nod, folding her arms across her bosom.
"Check her pulse, Celeste, now" Nicklaus ordered.
"I’m fine Nicklaus, I just need rest and I will be fine"
"Two magic can’t weigh on you like this, I have to be certain," he said firmly leaving no room for question. gods whenever he was like this was not convincing this man.
"Sick? What is that?" Celeste asked, puzzled.
"It’s a mortal thing" I faced her. "And it nothing to worry about and it might be because of my monthly flow coming, really Nicklaus"
"Check her" he didn’t spare a look and I just rolled my eyes.
"Sorry Yelena, the Emperor’s words against yours," She said, taking a seat at the edge of the bed.
I sighed in defeat stretching my hand to her, I was acting like a spoiled child but I didn’t care because I knew there was nothing to worry about. "You’re all just overreacting, just like when I got my flow" I murmured under my breath which I’m sure Nicklaus heard perfectly well and he leaned to .
"I will punish you if you misbehave one more ti" he whispered to my ears, and I shivered to bite my lip, I wonder what sort of punishnt, maybe I will be more stubborn.
"Um you two"
We faced Celeste who I wish would just give us so privacy right now.
