I leisurely opened my eyes, the last scene before , of my past self and Nicklaus suddenly vanished, my eyes observed the pitch darkness I was, I pondered why here? I should be in the next scene of my mories right? Why darkness? Diablo wasn’t exactly here to guide ... I have been fine on my own until now. Was this pitch darkness maybe part of my mories or sothing?
Don’t panic Yelena... don’t. I cald my breathing knowing all; that was happening was nothing but the truth. Suddenly the pitch darkness forge into a scene, I was hoping to see my past self but rather I found myself in a grand lobby, gold. I blinked puzzled, where was this place?
At the sound of approaching footsteps I turned and saw a beautiful maiden with long straight brown hair like red and green eyes. Zelda! It was Zelda, my mother’s apprentice. My eyes followed as she walked right through , I wasn’t really here so I understood the scenario but what I couldn’t wrap my head around was why here? Why was I here? And not with my past self as I have always been, maybe this was a scene I was ant to see or sothing, the truth may be...
I was snapped out of my train of thoughts gathering in my head when an ominous dark shadow erged from a wall, my eyes grew wide and I panicked.
"Zelda!" I called even though it was foolish of , there was no possible way she could HEAR ! She might be in danger and there was nothing I could have. The shadow zapped and slamd her chest, I watched in wide eyes as the shadow penetrated her. I covered my mouth in shock. What was happening? Did she just get possessed by that dark shadow? Where did it co from?
I subconsciously took a step forward but the scene changed, I was now in the throne room, seeing the surroundings, a rush of familiarity rushed to
and then I knew this was none other than the Sun Realm. This was the Sun Realm, my eyes trailed on my mother seated on her throne, her mind didn’t seem to be here, she must be lost in thoughts, this must be after she left the Spirit Forest, she was still pondering about what happened. The large door spread open and Zelda walked in.
"That isn’t Zelda" I said even though it looked like her I knew this was the shadow that possessed her earlier, she was the puppet and the shadow was pulling the strings.
"Mother goddess," Zelda says.
Edwina sighed deeply, rubbing her temples.
"I heard what happened," she said downheartedly. "Is it true? The princess is mated to a Vampire?"
Edwina sighed once again.
"And to no other than Magnus? The god of vampires?"
"She says she loves him," Edwina said with a scoff. "And for what is worse I could see it in her eyes the love she has for that..." her jaw clenched hard.
"Mother goddess, you must do sothing... there is no possible way they are mates, mates are ant to be from sa Realm, there are never been a cross like this"
"Yes’ ’ Edwina said, staring into space. "But there’s no doubt it might be true, That Magnus might just be her fated love... Yelena has always been different from the rest of us, I guess her fate differs too"

She faces Zelda who has stern looks. "Do not be swayed by this ruse... Magnus is none other than manipulating her"
"What? What are you talking about?"
"On hearing this shocking news I visited the Spirit Forest"
"No," I said.
"I saw him... I saw"
"No... she’s lying," I said, shocking my head.
"Mother goddess for Yelena’s sake you must take action and find a deserving mate for her, I don’t think she’s truly happy, he’s just using her!"
"No!’ I yelled. It was all a lie and I knew it... whoever was speaking was that damn shadow, Mother already had doubts with Nicklaus and she was fuming it further with those deceitful lies. She was egging my mother at her weakest thoughts, she was using the dislike she had for vampires to work this out... this shadow knew what it was doing, it was manipulating her.

"Mother," Yelena said.
Edwina’s stern eyes were on her daughter.
"I have co to talk to you" she began walking close to her.
"Is it true your highness?" Zelda began and her golden orbs landed on her.
"Is it true you choose a vampire over your people? Magnus?"

"No Zelda that’s not true" she faces her mother who remains still and silent.
"He’s my mate and we’re ant to be... because of him I ca here, because I know I cannot move on without your blessing mother" she squats just before her, grasping her hand in a firm hold. "I ca here because I believe you want my happiness... I’m happy mother with him, and I ask for your blessing"
Edwina’s eyes narrowed. "love?" pulled her hand away from her hold.
"Mother"
"That monster is manipulating you into thinking you’re his mate!" she rose to her feet and Yelena did too.
"No mother that’s not true, This is of my own free will and I choose to be with him"
"You will learn Yelena... You will learn to respect the laws of your people!"
Yelena shocks her head.
"Love will destroy you, all you need is your duties, all you will ever need is a partner and not a soulmate, a partner you would perform your duties with... all you should think about is your people and your Realm!"
"No" she says faintly for she couldn’t believe it, her mother has chosen to not accept her happiness, she chose to overlook it and it hurts her, why can’t she understand, why can’t she see she has found love? Her fist clenched hard.
"No I will not!" Her voice was strong and brave. She has made a decision to choose love and happiness and nothing will ever take it away from her, not even her own mother, because any mother would wish for her daughter’s happiness rather than destroy it.
"I choose love because when there is love there is hope, I choose love because I love my people and that happiness is what everyone needs... I found love and that freed ... I do not care of what you think!`` Those were her words standing firm and strong and willing to accept it. "Good bye mother" she whirled leaving.

The doors slamd shut.
I turned my angry eyes to Zelda, she slowly backed away and exited the throne room through another door and then I followed her into the hallway.
"Stop!"
She did, she heard , no not her, it was the damn shadow inside her, she whirled swiftly with a smirk.
"You can hear " I said in a whisper, my blood running cold and my hands shaking but I stood my ground.
"Hello Yelena" Zelda said in a double voice that wasn’t hers and her green beautiful eyes changed to blood red one and a hot spill ran down my spine, I felt fear, my grid tightened on my dress.
"Who are you?" I asked in a ragged whisper. "What are you?!"
Suddenly the shadow erged from her chest and Zelda’s body dropped to the ground, I stared wide eyed at the plague of darkness before , no form at all but the red eyes remained. I subconsciously drew backwards.
And then it zapped towards , in panic I shut my eyes close, but nothing ca... I leisurely opened my eyes and found out I was no longer in that scene but rather I was back to the Spirit Realm. I looked around and in a far distance I saw Nicklaus standing and staring at the view, I knew he was waiting for my past self.
"Nicklaus!"
I turned, seeing my past self walking to him.
Nicklaus turned to Yelena, tears in her eyes and he panicked pulling her in a tight hug.
"What happened?"
She pulled away. "I want to be with you, forever" she said with a sniff, a smile found his lips and rubbed his thumb against her cheek.
Yelena felt a sharp pain deep in her chest, puzzled, her gaze leveled to it and she gasped. Nicklaus’ hand covered in shadow was piercing her.
