Chapter 934: Afirer Kingdom’s Capital City
Every magic has its counterasure.
It just depends on whether they could learn it or not.
Riya had long known that magic is not omnipotent and various magic spells had other magic spells that could counter them. And the magic spells that countered them could be countered by other magic spells.
It was simply an endless cycle.
So no matter how strong she is, one should not feel arrogant.
Because soone else might have learned magic spells that could perfectly counter them or sothing like that.
When they faced such an opponent, what awaited them would be nothing more than their own death.
Riya knew it very well.
It was also because of this that she prepared a lot of counterasure in case the teleportation formation couldn’t be used. But when she had to face several opponents that were of higher ranks than her and were attacking fiercely, everything she had were consud at rapid speed.
She knew that she couldn’t survive.
So at the very last mont, the only thing she could do was sothing that every magician could do.
Exploding their own mana heart and destroyed their enemies along with their own death.
It could be said to be the most violent counterattack that any magician could ever made in their entire life. At the cost of their own life, they killed the enemies who were nearby and if their enemies were not strong enough, they would not be able to survive this explosion.
Mana is a kind of energy.
So describing how the explosion looked like… it was probably sothing like the nuclear explosion or sothing similar to it.
Riya was not entirely sure.
She had never seen other people exploding their mana heart and what she knew was when she herself did it.
What she felt was nothing but pain and the blinding light that surrounded her.
After that, she left.
Swish!
Seeing a few magic beasts along the way, Riya narrowed her eyes. She was actually hoping that she could reach the capital city without encountering any magic beasts along the way.
“I don’t really want to fight, so can you leave on your own?” Riya asked earnestly, not really expecting them to understand.
*Roar*
Well, these magic beasts were not smart enough.
Swish! Bang!
What followed was a few explosion and these magic beasts fell to the ground. Riya tossed their bodies into her world, turning them into mana that nourished her world and kept the magic cores.
Seeing that one of them was a non elental magic core, Riya was satisfied.
Non elental magic cores were actually quite hard to obtain.
Because many magic beasts had their own innate magic elent and would train their mana and magic in accordance to that elent. So of them that didn’t have any elent in the early stage could also absorb elental type of mana after they grew up.
In this way, their magic core would not remain as non elental magic core.
It would turn to whatever elent they chose.
Swish! Bang!
Riya easily dealt with the magic beasts along the way.
Perhaps it was her luck or sothing else, but she didn’t encounter any rank 8 magic beast along the way.
This made Riya wonder if there were not many rank 8 magic beast in this world.
‘Is the one at the gate coincidence or the stronger magic beasts are all outside Afirer Kingdom?’
Riya was thinking as she made her way.
Being alone and had no one to talk to, her mind beca extrely active and Riya was thinking about various things.
This world was really big and Afirer Kingdom was only one kingdom among many others.
As for how many kingdoms are there….
Sorry, Riya didn’t know.
She didn’t specifically learn geography when she was still in this world and only knew bits and pieces from what she heard from others. Perhaps Samuel would know about it more because of his family’s background and the study he received.
Before she beca rune master, Riya was busy working to support herself and to save money to learn magic and so on.
After she beca rune master, Riya was busy learning various knowledges about runes and so on that she often forgot about other things.
*cough*
Otherwise, her misconception that Samuel fixed about talent would remain that way until the very end.
Well, it was a bit embarrassing.
Thankfully, Riya is not exactly magic theories teacher and only taught runes to others. For magic spells and so on, she only wrote down the chants and let them practice by themselves.
She’s not a magician!
Riya still refused to be called magician when she was on the Green Planet.
Just thinking about the image of magicians there… Riya felt that she would never ever be willing to be called a magician.
Anyway, the world is really vast.
Afirer Kingdom alone was extrely big and people usually traveled through the teleportation formation. Because if they were to use ordinary transportation to co forward, they might take weeks to arrive to their destination.
That is if their rank was high enough.
For ordinary people, it would take years to travel from one end of Afirer Kingdom to the other end.
And so far, Riya couldn’t see any rank 8 magic beast.
It was actually a bit strange.

Finally, Riya arrived at Afirer Kingdom’s Capital City.
The Capital City was such a big city before, but now, all Riya could see was the extrely large ruins.
Magic fluctuation remained and Riya guessed that there were still a lot of magic tools remaining.
But these had beco ownerless.
Riya pursed her lips and then stepped in.
The buildings had long fallen and the bustling street was filled with nothing but rocks. The large castle in the middle of the capital city was now nothing more than pile of rocks in ssy shapes.
Everything had changed.
Everything has been destroyed.
Everything was washed away in the passage of history, turning into nothing but a piece of history.
