yhymn’s Point Of View
"Listen Ezekihel, I need you to make a decision. What life do you want? Do you want to let you go? Do you want to stay here? Choose." I said.
We had run out of ti. I would have loved to give him all the ti he needed but I had less than two days. I didn’t want the guys to go to Demhongade unprotected. If the twins were in top shape I wouldn’t be this worried, but they were both down for the count.
"What do you an? I thought you’d give ti to think it over longer?" He asked.
"We have run out of ti, kiddo. I’m sorry. I will have to leave in less than 2 days and you cannot co with . I need to know what you want." I replied.
"You are going to leave alone? What am I supposed to do about release?" He asked, panicked.
"I’m asking you to decide. I have a way to help you with that, but you have to want to be here. Otherwise what’s the point? You could just as easily leave and find release where you want, right?" I asked.
"Don’t say that... I said I’d stay didn’t I? Stop making regret it with your hurtful words. If I’m going to have a choice in who can abuse my body, shouldn’t I choose the guy who doesn’t actually want to do it? So help ! I don’t want to be a prisoner here anymore!" He said, tears welling in his eyes.
"Okay. Okay. I’m sorry. I just want you to be sure. I won’t easily let you go after this, do you understand?" I asked.
I couldn’t deny that he had really grown on . His quirky, strong, abrasive attitude, that made want to spank him. His addictive pheromones that drove crazy. His piercing eyes that always seed to cry for help. His secretive nature that always made question reality. I felt crazy just for liking him so much.
"I... understand..." He mumbled.
"Okay. Stay here. I need to go take care of sothing. Then I’ll be back to try out the solution with you. If you behave, this will be the last ti I chain you up. Okay?" I asked.
"Okay. But only if I can have a hug. It’s really lonely here. I’m always scared soone will bust in here and hurt ..." He sighed.
"Well lock the door. There’s also a knife in a sheath taped to the underside of my bedside table. Protect yourself when you need to." I said, pulling him into a tight hug.
I gave him light kisses on his forehead before I kissed his lips. He looked up at in surprise and stepped back.
"Why...? What was that for?" He asked touching his lips.
"Cuz you’re adorable when you pout and beg." I smirked.
I picked him up and put him on the bed. I connected his ankle to the chain and handed him a workbook and pencil that I stashed in my bedside table.
"Here use this to learn your letters and small words. I’ll check your progress when I get back. Maybe you’ll be able to spell your own na by then." I chuckled.
"Isn’t this for children?" He asked pouting again.
"Well everyone has to start sowhere. I gave one of these to all the Ogas that ca with us from Delgaide. Don’t be unreasonable." I said ruffling his hair.
"Fine! I’ll finish this whole thing before your slow ass gets back!" He huffed, and laid down, opened the book and got to work.
I smirked and headed for the door. I tucked a gun in my waistband and opened the door. I turned to give Ezekihel one more look, he was fully subrged into writing his letters.
I locked the door and closed it softly behind . I headed down the stairs quickly. I was already late as hell, but it was worth it. When I finally made it down to the first floor, I began contemplating whether to install elevators or escalators into this oversized ho.
I tried to steady my breathing and collect myself as I rounded the corner and was surprised to see the guys brooding in the hallway. The only problem was that Cole and Tristan were nowhere to be seen.
"What’s wrong guys? I ca as soon as I was able to. Where’s Cole and Tristan?" I asked, confused.
All three of them glared at we with so much force it could probably kill if it were able. Then Cole ca out of the clinic looking extrely worried but content as well.
"Cole, where the hell is Tristan?" I asked, even more confused than before.
"He’s in there with Bennhayzin... Alone..." He said as his eyes flashed.
"Um isn’t the cycle still in effect though?" I asked, incredulous.
"We didn’t have a choice yhymn." Ferdinand groaned.
I couldn’t tell what was happening or how it had gotten here, but the guys were absolutely volatile at the mont. I opted to distract the one most angry.
"So I’m going with you all to Demhongade. and Bel can be Sylvester’s detail. Ferdinand bring Roh and Cole. Or Tysse and Cole. Whichever is fine." I said, causing all four to look at in confused shock.
"What about the Oga?" Bellamy asked.
"Well I need you to make an injection, I’ll test it out on him. If it works I go, if not you try again. I’ll explain more about what I need for him later. The TVs will be here by the end of the day, and I got him a bunch of workbooks to work on his letters and words. I’m also going to create a tracker of sorts. I can’t share a connection with him like you guys can with Tristan. I need peace of mind." I said.
"Good Gods yhymn... you love that annoying shit, don’t you?" Sylvester asked looking disgusted.
"I don’t know if I’d call it love yet. But he has grown on . I care for him a great deal..." I said.
"How?! He was such an asshole!" Bellamy yelled.
"Ah... about that. Apparently there is a protocol that should have been followed after Tristan’s verification. Him and his mother should have basically been treated like Kings and Queens. Ezekihel was under the impression that Tristan wasn’t hard in anyway and just ran away because he didn’t like the benefactor. I set him straight, he cried, we moved on. It was just a misunderstanding..." I sighed.
"Hmph... we’ll see. Bring him to the lab when all this is over. And fork over what you found at Lore’rahlye too." Bellamy said.
"Yea. Sure thing." I replied.
"This shit is taking too long. I don’t like it. What the fuck could he possibly want to talk to Tristan about alone. And fuck you Ferdinand, since when do you call all the shots where Tristan is concerned!?" Bellamy said furious.
"When it involves Mafia Kings. You may not know it but he’s a Hyper-Dominant Alpha. Almost all of the Kings are. So if he can be alone with Tristan this long, I don’t have any qualms about taking him." Ferdinand replied cooly.
"How can you say that? You don’t even know what’s happening to him right now!?" Sylvester yelled.
"You would, if you stopped running your mouth and focused on your mate." Ferdinand replied dryly.
"Yea, he’s been rubbing my mark comfortingly for a while now. I’m not trying to brag or anything but I’m guessing he’s using it as a coping chanism just as much as I am. I think he’s just being told so shocking or concerning news." Cole said.
"How do you know he’s not calling out to you to save him?" Sylvester asked.
"Hm? Because he’s emotionally calm, for the most part they haven’t changed much since we left the room." Cole shrugged.
"Well soone should listen in and see what’s being said." Bellamy said.
"I’m just going to sit down and wait. We are probably the ones stressing him out." Ferdinand said.
"You can just shut up. It’s your fault we’re in this ss, dumbass." Bellamy said.
"There was no other option. I’m trying to avoid a war if at all possible. It’s tedious as hell. Whatever he wanted to tell Tristan was clearly important." Ferdinand replied, taking a seat on the floor.
"And how would you know, oh great and wise one?" Bellamy said.
"What part of "Lazy King" are you not getting? He seriously doesn’t get involved. It’s always too tedious or boring to him. He didn’t even want to be a Mafia King, but his old man didn’t really give him a choice. So he just inherited the position with Zachariah’s blessing." Ferdinand said looking up at Bellamy, annoyed.
"What’s your point?" Bellamy retorted, plopping down beside Ferdinand.
"He ca here. A nearly 10 hour drive, and he ca here personally instead of just waiting until the summons. Would you like to keep going to war? We almost lost Cole last ti. This ti it could be anyone. Even Tristan. So when I say this is the only option, that’s exactly what I an." Ferdinand glared.
"Uhm... excuse you idiots, Tristan is calling for !" Sylvester said pushing everyone out of the way.
Ferdinand and Bellamy stood up imdiately, while Cole looked on worried. It was always crazy seeing their telepathy in action.
"Benn, I’m only going to warn you once." Sylvester yelled while opening the door.
’Ah, shit...’
