Tristan’s Point Of View
I was terrified out of my frikkin mind. I couldn’t stop trembling to save my life. Ferdinand carried down stairs and to the lounge, looking troubled the whole ti. I could feel all of their emotions washing over in waves and it was becoming a bit too much.
"If you guys don’t calm down, I can’t calm down..." I murmured.
"Sorry..." They said in unison.
We got to the lounge door and I let out a heavy sigh. Once everyone had cald down a bit Bellamy open the door.
"Well I will say this, those little dumplings are too adorable for words. You’d best mind your manners and be on your best behavior around them. I’d hate to have to rip your throat out Bennhayzin." ahlene said pointedly.
"Haha! I’ll be sure to keep that in mind ma’am." The man laughed deeply.
"Well I’ll let you boys talk. Bellamy, don’t look so grim, it sets a bad tone." ahlene said, rubbing Bellamy’s cheek.
She walked out of the room and we all collectively took a seat on the sofa across from him.
By all accounts the man was eerily beautiful. He had long curly magenta hair and one blue and one green eye. He was dressed sharply with a hat on to round out the suit. His presence was heavy, even if his body language suggested otherwise.
When we sat down, I inadvertently locked eyes with him and imdiately beca terrified. I couldn’t say why... or what made that way, but everything in was screaming to get as far away from this man as possible.
Ferdinand must have sensed my fear as well. He squeezed tighter and closer to him in an instant.
"Well it appears the rumors are true. Sohow I regret not paying more attention to that facility before now. I definitely should have visited that place more than twice. You really are beautiful beyond all imaginings all grown up as you are." The man said with a hungry look in his eyes.
I couldn’t handle his hard gaze anymore so I turned into Ferdinand’s chest. I tried to take deep asured breaths of him to calm down.
"Bennhayzin, why are you here?" Ferdinand asked, getting to the point.
"Could I talk to the Oga alone for just a mont...?" He asked.
"Absolutely not!" Bellamy, Sylvester, Ferdinand, and Cole yelled in unison.
"Hmm? I’ll be the perfect gentleman. I swear on my title as a King. You may even stand outside the door. What I have to say, is not for you to hear." Bennhayzin said, thoughtfully.
"The answer is still no." Ferdinand replied.
"Well unfortunately I can’t leave until I do. So I hope you can reconsider." He smirked.
I couldn’t deny I didn’t want to be alone with him for even a minute. Everything about him felt altered, like his words were opposite of his actions and vice versa. I wouldn’t agree to anything of the sort. I looked up at Ferdinand and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, he looked contemplative.
"Ferdinand, you can’t be serious..." Sylvester said.
"No. I won’t agree to this Ferdinand, I don’t care what you say. Fuck that, fuck this, and fuck him!" Bellamy yelled.
I looked around and saw that it was a split decision. Cole seed to just not want a fight, Ferdinand seed to have a deeper understanding of the situation, and Bellamy and Sylvester were staunchly against the idea.
"This has everything to do with his future. He needs to be able to make this decision without his overbearing Alphas around. I didn’t have to co here. I didn’t have to say any of this. By right I could just wait until the summons and take him back after challenging you and your actions. But since I respect you and that sounds like a whole lot of extra work I don’t want to deal with I ca here on a friendly visit. Please don’t make this into a huge deal." Bennhayzin said calmly.
"Fine..." Ferdinand relented.
I looked up at him in shock, and he wouldn’t et my gaze. He looked as if he didn’t want to, but at the sa ti he had to.
"I just said I won’t agree to that Ferdinand. Did you think I was joking?!" Bellamy said standing up.
"Well in this, we don’t have a choice. Had we dealt with Wyhett and Jehriko when they were in my estate then this wouldn’t be a problem. But we went to Delgaide, we killed everyone. In my anger I acted without thinking, the proper thing to do would have been to contact Benn. But I didn’t do anything of the sort."
This statent made Sylvester back down imdiately. He looked over at , sadness darkening his eyes. It seed that Ferdinand had been right, this guy had the authority to take back if he wanted.
Sylvester was the first to pick up out of Ferdinand’s arms and I wrapped my legs around his waist.
"Just touch my mark. I’ll kill him in a heartbeat for you." He said kissing my face all over.
"I don’t want to talk to him by myself..." I mumbled.
"I know. I’m sorry. I’ll be right on the other side of the door. I promise." He said giving a hug.
Bellamy was next to grab as Sylvester waited by the door, he looked thoroughly pissed off. The anger radiating from him was infectious.
"If I feel your emotions shift negatively even just a little bit, I’m going to burst down this door. I’m not going to sugar coat anything, I hate this. All of this." He said kissing deeply.
" too..." I murmured.
He looked torn before sitting back in Ferdinand’s lap and heading for the door, but not before whispering another ’fuck you’ to Ferdinand.
Cole was sitting next to Ferdinand on the sofa so instead of picking up he pulled my head to his and placed his forehead to mine.
"This situation makes feel uneasy, I’m going to go across the hall and have Khali take my stitches out. Otherwise I’ll drive myself crazy worrying about you." He said and gave a kiss.
Cole stood up and left the room imdiately, what he said was true. His worry for was overshadowing the other’s emotions heavily.
I rubbed his mark on my wrist and felt him calm down exponentially.
Ferdinand was the last one to look at . His fear had settled down much more than before. It was like he knew sothing the rest of us did not. He seed so sure of whatever would transpire in this room without him in it.
"You rember what I said about his nickna, right?" He whispered.
I nodded. He looked at and gave a reassuring hug.
"He won’t hurt you. I promise." He said before giving a lengthy kiss.
Then he sat down on the sofa, and headed for the door. I watched as they all collectively left alone with this unknown man. I kept telling myself that Ferdinand said he wouldn’t hurt . But physical pain and ntal pain were two different things. I couldn’t take my eyes off the door they had all left from. I wanted so badly for this to be a bad joke.
"So, what’s your na? It’s improper for to call you Oga all the ti. I’m Bennhayzin, but you probably already knew that." He said.
I couldn’t bring myself to look at him. Sothing about his mismatched colored eyes unnerved .
"What is it that you want?" I mumbled.
"Well that’s rude. For starters I would like you to confirm your na, Tristan..." He sighed.
I imdiately turned around to face him at the ntion of my na. I didn’t recall ever telling him my na or anyone ever ntioning my na. I was at a loss for words.
"You were just a toddler when I t you the first ti. Doctor Maybelline was worried about a lot of things concerning you and your future. She knew you were what the facility wanted before she ran the tests." He said standing up.
"She emailed everything about your creation, and the details behind it. It’s pretty insane to be honest..." He said with a sigh sitting next to .
I scoot all the way to the other end of the sofa, but he didn’t move from his spot.
"I could release the information to the other facilities and then they could make the attempts on their own, but I made a promise to Maybelline. And the only other person who could overrule her decision is you." He said running a shaky hand through his hair.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"I’m asking you, should more Ogas like you be created or should the facilities hunt you into perpetuity?" He asked.
I was stunned speechless...
