Zachariah’s Point Of View

"I-I’m not sure I know what you an..." Ohr’Aizen stuttered.

"Why are you approving sothing that you know completely disregards the laws and Treaty that were signed? I’ll gladly help you fight against it. I will do what needs to be done, to avoid an all out war." I said earnestly.

"Uhm... Well... That..." Ohr’Aizen looked around nervously, clearly hesitant to answer.

"Shaihffer and Chazn are dragging innocent civilians into their petty plot for revenge. This goes against Delgahtowe’s own laws... You cannot tell that you agree with their farcical actions." I pushed, practically pleading.

"I-I’m... An... Oga... I was born in Delgaide, and if I don’t do as they say... They’ll lock away in their facility, for the rest of my life... You must understand, I do not have a choice in this..." Ohr’Aizen mumbled.

I sat back in my chair, utterly speechless. Of all the things I imagined that he’d say, that, was not one of them. Not only that, but I wasn’t sure if I could even help him. The nation would co to a grinding halt if the president went into hiding.

No matter how I looked at it, we were dood to go to war. I didn’t want to risk the lives of my Kings, nor the lives of our n and families, but by all accounts they weren’t going to give us a damn choice.

"As you can see, there isn’t much I can do... Even with all the power that I wield, I’m completely powerless against them and their threats..." Ohr’Aizen said solemnly.

"Well, I refuse to take this lying down. Things will definitely get much worse for you, before they get better. I’m going to expose the truth, so you had better be prepared for the fallout." I said, barely holding back my anger.

I had co here to make him see reason, but he was nothing more than a soulless puppet. He was absolutely useless, and we would get nowhere continuing this conversation.

"If I knew of a way that you could help , I would gladly request your assistance... However, short of killing them, I’m not sure how else to stop them..." Ohr’Aizen said sadly.

"It’s easy for you to suggest killing them when you don’t have to do the killing." I retorted.

Ohr’Aizen flinched, but said nothing more. I couldn’t help but groan deep in my throat. This had been a complete waste of ti, and I was ready to call it a day.

"We’re done here." I said, standing up.

"Uhm... W-What?" Ohr’Aizen asked, startled.

"We won’t get anywhere like this, and to be honest, my Kings and Duhtchy need my attention. I’ll see you around Mr. President." I said gruffly, heading for the door.

"Please, stay a mont longer. I haven’t gotten to greet you properly. I apologize for being so late." Chazn said, walking into the room.

I couldn’t help but tense up at his sudden appearance. It wasn’t like this was an open eting, and I certainly didn’t invite him. Even more peculiar was the fact that Chazn was appearing at all. Under normal circumstances, Shaihffer would be handling matters of this nature.

"C-Chazn? What brings you here?" Ohr’Aizen said, clearly shaken by the man’s sudden appearance.

"I was told that the laws I had drawn up were creating problems for our Commander-in-Chief. I wanted to lend a helping hand anyway that I could." Chazn said, with a dark grin on his face.

’A blind man could tell that you are up to no damn good...’

"I see... Well it’s fine, don’t trouble yourself. We were just finishing up, and I was just leaving." I said firmly, trying to excuse myself.

"No, no. I insist. Please stay a bit longer." Chazn said, eyes gleaming.

Sothing didn’t sit right with about this man. This man was the textbook definition of sinister. It felt like he was stalling for ti, and I wasn’t going to fall for his irritating ploy.

"Sorry. There really is no reason to. It’s not like you intend to stop your aggressions on my n and our Duhtchies, so the next best course of action would be to et you on the battlefield." I said, shrugging his hand off my shoulder.

"My, my. I’d be willing to make a compromise." Chazn replied with a smirk.

"You can’t have the Oga. That would be like severing an arm." I retorted.

"Interesting. So, you’re willing to risk the lives of all of your people, for one Oga?" He asked, curiously.

"That one Oga, is considered amongst the ones I’ll protect. I thought I told you, he’s family. You should know how dear a family mber can be... After all, you started all of this to avenge a family mber, even though they were in the wrong." I said, getting increasingly annoyed.

"Hahaha! That’s just not true. In fact–"

"Goodbye, Chazn. You will not waste anymore of my ti. You have a good day, Ohr’Aizen." I said, leaving both n and the room behind.

Once I was inside the elevator, I let out a deep sigh. Being near Chazn and his blatant hostility was tiring.

"Jayhsyn, check on Mahlekai and the Duhtchy. I have a bad feeling about Chazn’s sudden appearance." I said wearily.

"Yes, Sir."

Jayhsyn got to work making the necessary phone calls as we reached the first floor. Since he was able to get ahold of Mahlekai, I felt relieved that he wasn’t caught in sothing unsavory.

"Ah! King Zachariah, did I already miss the eting?" I heard a deep voice call from behind in surprise.

When I turned around I was once again surprised. It was none other than Shaihffer. It looked like he had been on his way towards the elevators.

’If I didn’t know any better, I’d assu that they were trying to pin to this location...’

"Oh? Hello, Shaihffer. Its good to see you again. I was just heading out. Sorry you missed the eting. Your brother is up there though. I’m sure he’s being briefed as well. I must be going." I said, not wanting to give him an opening.

"Oh? Perish the thought. I was hoping we could discuss my son and his current whereabouts. Could you indulge a mont?" He asked.

’Ugh... I do not have ti for this stupid bullshit!’
