Ezekihel’s Point Of View
The flight back to StohneGarrdin was filled with a tense silence. It wasn’t so much as awkward, as it was ominous. I didn’t need to ask yhymn if he was alright. I knew exactly how he was feeling, because I was also feeling the sa way.
I was absolutely worried about our future, but for so reason, I was even more worried about my newly found family. Tristan and I had beco incredibly close over the years, my relationship with Synnahn was just as strong.
I wouldn’t be able to live a life without any of them anymore. The girls had grown up into smart, talented, and incredibly reliable won. Joobehlee was taking after Sable and her evil tactics, more and more each day.
Arrisa was insanely reliable, and always called just to check up on . Honestly, she probably called more than anyone else, yhymn not withstanding.
Sable was much more independent than she had been before. She would often call just to show off a new outfit she had recieved, or a painting that she had made. It didn’t take a genius to see how much she loved Raihne, either.
He was always being helplessly dragged into one of her sches, or crazy ideas. It didn’t seem like it bothered him at all, but he didn’t seem to look at Sable the sa way she looked at him.
But even so, I wanted to do everything I could, to protect them. I wanted them to live a worry and stress free life, as well. I didn’t want them to constantly be on the run, or always looking over their shoulders for an attack.
’We deserve to have a life of our own choosing too... Right?’
"E?... Ezekihel?"
"Huh? Yes? What is it?" I asked, looking up at yhymn in confusion.
"I said, we’re here now..." He sighed.
It was only then that I realized we had already landed in Ferdinand’s yard, the rotors quietly ebbing to a stop. I looked back at yhymn, embarrassed. I had apparently been too caught up in my own thoughts to notice anything.
"It’s fine. I’m worried too." yhymn said scooping up, and heading for the door.
"I don’t know what I can do to help, but I’ll do anything to keep them smiling." I said, putting my face into his neck.
"I know. I swear to do my best work yet. We’ll get through this sohow..." He replied, squeezing tightly.
It was comforting to know that he was just as worried, and that he was going to put his all into winning this fight. He had spent two entire days secluded in his lab. I had spent those days packing, and getting the house ready for our inevitable extended stay.
He wouldn’t tell what he had been up to in there, only ever saying that he was ’Protecting his assets’.
It didn’t really bother that he had been up to sothing so ti consuming. I probably wouldn’t have been able to understand him anyway if he went on another excited tangent, about his latest hacks.
His conversations would slowly beco incoherent, and confusing. I never had the heart to stop him, because he always had this happy and excited glimr in his eyes.
When we reached the main doors, Torhrezz was already standing in wait for us.
"Its good to see you again, Ezekihel and yhymn. Please co in. The others are currently in a eting." Torhrezz said, ushering us inside.
yhymn set down, and took my hand. As we walked inside, Arrisa and the others were quickly approaching.
"Ezekihel! Welco ho!" Arrisa said, imdiately giving a tight hug.
"I’m ho." I said, hugging her back.
She always said the sa thing when we would co to visit, and I always felt so welcod when she did. This was my ho away from ho.
"It’s good to see you guys. Where are the twins?" I asked, looking around.
It was practically unheard-of, seeing the girls without the twins. I couldn’t rember a single ti that they had both been missing from their sides.
"They’re with the others in the eting. All of the lieutenants and right hands are attending. Synnahn is in the great room." Sable said, linking our arms.
"You go on ahead, I will attend the eting as well. I want to do my part. Ezekihel, try to rest a bit... Please?" yhymn asked, looking worried.
"Alright. Co find later. I love you." I said, putting on my best smile.
I knew that he was really telling not to keep stressing out, and to stop thinking about unnecessary things. But I knew that that would be impossible.
’After all, we haven’t even left the starting line of this battle yet.’

yhymn’s Point Of View
"Torhrezz, please lead the way." I said, after giving Ezekihel a brief kiss.
Torhrezz nodded, and began to ascend the stairs. I followed closely behind. I had uncovered a lot of unsettling shit in the past couple of days. It was definitely sothing that the others would need to know.
It was possible that there were multiple sches in play, and they were no doubt looking for the best ti to strike during the inevitable clash.
’All of those ignorant, selfish, greedy, detestable bastards are an eyesore. I will put my all into exposing these annoying pieces of shit. For the sake of my family, for the sake of our future, and for the sake of my mate...’
"This is as far as I can go. Please go inside, I will look after the others." Torhrezz said with a bow, before walking back in the direction that we had co from.
I took a deep breath to steady my nerves, and then turned the knob.
"I must also inform all of you that they have definitely begun to start small fires. My brother and I, have already been contacted by Chazn..." I heard a voice say, coming from the large TV on the wall.
"Yes... You all should absolutely be wary of the following people: Chazn, Shaihffer, Shannon, Rahzden, Casteille, and most importantly, Ohr’Aizen." I said seriously, as I walked up to Ferdinand.
"yhymn! It’s so good to see you again!" Tristan said, smiling happily.
"Yes... I promised to always be there for you guys, whenever you needed . Our governnt has been busy, and we have been far too complacent." I said sternly.
Everyone swallowed audibly, the tension in the room nearly doubled in an instant.
I slowly let a sly, and evil grin spread across my face. Everyone that could see it flinched imdiately, the tension clearly growing, and hackles no doubt rising.
"But y’know... I’ve been busy as well." I chuckled darkly.
’I promised that I would shine the light... And I never go back on my word....’
