"Okay." Mr. Forest imdiately paid the bill and went over to help her up...

At the corner near the bathroom, Iris Lynn took out her phone and captured a few photos of the two holding onto each other.

That guy would probably take her to a hotel, right? Such a good opportunity, and she’s so pretty. If he doesn’t take advantage, he’d be really stupid!

Sumr got into his car, told him her address, and he drove to her place.

When they arrived below her apartnt, Mr. Forest helped her out of the car and was just about to assist her into the building when Ian Sterling, who had just parked behind them, spotted them.

He had just finished buying clothes with Vivian and wanted to personally drop her ho to prevent her from sneaking into his house again. She must have seen him enter his password last night.

Ian Sterling saw an unfamiliar man helping Sumr, and imdiately got out of the car. He walked over quickly, pulled her to his side, and asked the man coldly:

"Who are you? What do you want?"

"I’m a client of Attorney Nolan’s. When discussing a case at The Peninsula Café this morning, soone tampered with her coffee. I just brought her back." Mr. Forest explained.

Ian Sterling was sowhat skeptical of his words. Sumr glanced at him and said, "It’s not Mr. Forest’s fault."

"Thank you, Mr. Forest, for bringing back," she expressed her gratitude again.

"You’re welco. Since you’ve t a friend, I’ll take my leave." The man said goodbye and got into his car, driving away.

Ian Sterling looked at her, frowned, and asked, "Who would set you up like this in the morning?"

"I don’t know, but we can check the café’s surveillance. Why are you back so suddenly?" she asked him.

Ian feared she would spot Vivian in the car, so he quickly picked her up and, while walking into the building, lied, "I forgot so docunts."

"You can just drop at my door, then get back to work," Sumr told him.

"Going ho like this would worry your mom. Co to my place; I’m your boyfriend. Why are you being so distant?" He looked down at her and said.

Sitting in the car, Vivian watched him care so much for Sumr while being cold to her, feeling an uncontrollable pang of jealousy.

She suddenly slapped her own face to wake up, reminding herself: what’s so good about such a jerk?

"Plenty of people like , who cares about him?" she crossed her arms and snorted.

In Ian Sterling’s apartnt, he carried the woman in his arms straight to the bathroom. Sumr, leaning against the wall, said to him:

"Leave, I’ll just soak in cold water for a bit."

Ian Sterling looked at her, frowned, and suddenly pinned her against the wall, holding her hand, gazing at her passionately, "I’m your boyfriend now, can’t I?"

"I’m not ready yet, let’s talk about it later." Sumr looked at him and refused flatly. He was her enemy’s son; she couldn’t get involved with him.

Moreover, she only felt goodwill and guilt towards him, not to the extent of really liking him—

Ian didn’t want to hear her refusal. He lifted her chin with one hand, his voice low and husky,

"But I don’t want to wait. Spending every day working with Elias Spencer makes feel really insecure, Sumr... will you be my true woman? I promise I won’t disappoint you."

"I’d better go..." Sumr didn’t want to explain too much; she was about to push him away and return ho when he suddenly leaned over and shut her up.

"Let... go..." she frowned, and taking advantage of the mont she spoke, he slipped in, capturing her lips and tongue, conquering her defenses.

One hand started unbuttoning her white shirt.

Sumr was a bit angry, struggling, but unable to break free. Her mind was clear, yet the drug in her body kicked in fully under his provocation, making the kiss feel hot like fire.

Just as his hand reached inside her shirt, Sumr furiously bit his lip, causing him to grunt but not intending to stop.

They were already in a relationship, so why couldn’t they?

Suddenly, a figure stood at the bathroom door—it was Vivian. She watched the two inside kissing passionately, her brows knitted tightly.

Not knowing whether to support them or break them up?

"..." Ian felt soone nearby and had to release Sumr, turning to look, his tone distant: "Second Miss Nolan, sothing you need?"

"I..." Vivian was just about to leave when she suddenly saw her sister deliver a loud slap across his face, leaving her greatly surprised. Why did her sister hit him?

Was the kiss just now not consensual?

But aren’t they a couple?

Ian’s face turned redder, he gritted his teeth, but did not bla her, just asked in a deep voice: "Do you still like Elias Spencer? Is that why you don’t want to be intimate with ?"

Sumr just gave him a cold look, unwilling to say more, pushing him away and walking out...

Vivian was also annoyed, glancing at him with a hint of schadenfreude. Why did she feel inexplicably pleased seeing him rejected by her sister and slapped?

When Sumr opened the door to enter the house, she didn’t see her mother. She must have gone out, which was good, saving her from being asked too many questions.

Back in her bedroom, she imdiately filled the bathtub with cold water.

After taking off her clothes and lying inside, she felt much better.

Vivian walked in, seeing her sister in the tub, and knew what happened. She angrily asked, "Sis, who set you up?"

"I don’t know yet. But you—why were you suddenly in Ian’s house?" Sumr turned to look at her and asked.

"I saw you two when I was downstairs; I also saw him carry you inside. I noticed the door wasn’t shut, so I wanted to see what was going on with you," she said, pouting.

Sumr believed her sister’s words and then asked with sudden seriousness, "Did you sleep with that male classmate? What’s his background?"

"We didn’t sleep together, he’s just a good buddy. I’ve already reached adulthood, please respect what I choose to do." Vivian squatted by the tub and told her earnestly.

"I’m just afraid you’ll be tricked by a man. You have no experience with relationships and don’t guard against n," Sumr feared her sister getting hurt.

"How would I gain experience without trying? Just let grow freely. I’ll bear any consequences. I don’t want to live under your protection always. I also want a dynamic and intense life, not a calm and stagnant one." she said.

Sumr looked at her, sowhat convinced, fine, let her be, experiences will make her grow up.

"Sis, do you not like Ian?" Vivian tested.

"Don’t concern yourself with that. I have my motives."

"Oh... I get it. You’re using him to make Attorney Spencer jealous, right?" she asked with a smile, thinking her sister really liked Ian before, but now it seed fake.

Her mood inexplicably relaxed.

"Stop guessing. Go to The Peninsula Café on Nightingale Road and get the surveillance video from this morning. I need to know who is scheming behind my back." Sumr gave her sister an assignnt.
