"Okay, watch closely," I tell Vaniti. She nods, and raises her arm to take off her blindfold—

"No, not that closely, I an," I reassure quickly enough, arms outstretched. She nods again, and reties it.

I dust my hands, and pop the bones in my finger before continuing. Right now, we are outside the armory. With the new gear and a couple of potions. At the back of the armory, where nobody would disturb us at all.

"Ah-hem!" I clear my throat, juggling a few jars of potions between my hands and tails.

"Magical Attuned Armor cos in different shapes, sizes, and well, attunents. They give you a fixed bonus and benefit, so of which may even have drawbacks. Since we aren’t in Dragonia...or any other bustling city with a machine that redraws the magical attunent..."

More like Gacha System, but hey, who am I to judge right?

"...we’ll being doing this the old way."

Vaniti tilts her head, "Old...way...?"

I nod, "Indeed. This armor has the attunent of Magical Resillience, which gives you additional bonuses when facing magic-based skills of any sort, so, more protection against magic."

But you wouldn’t really need that if you could bombard them with spells of your own, and exactly the multiple loopholes I’m thinking of if this works rightly anyways.

I grab two potions, an orange and a blue one. Fire- and Water-based Resilience. Even in an updated world, people still suck against water magic.

It was never ta back in my days I don’t think...maybe it got popular in recent tis? Stronger Water Based Mages?

Brutal.

Anyways, I pop the tops open, and pour it onto the armor. It doesn’t get drenched, but more like absorbed. And if anyone is wondering why the masses won’t get their hands on regular clothes and dump potions on them.

It doesn’t work like that, fortunately. Only on attuned armor, and to get said attuned armor is already a great struggle. Unless you have so top-tier mage, or fancy armorer who can create it out of thin air...you’re out of luck.

This process does involve a little bit of alchemy, so thank Dev I managed to rember all the possible combinations. You have a lot of ti to think when stuck in the black abyss.

Well, let not bla this entirely on that. I’ve always known the recipes way before that.

As the orange and blue do not mix, the armor absorbs both. Whatever outline it had now was replaced with a white outline, a soft tallic sheen, reflective almost. But not quite there.

Alright, it’s deserted now.

My eyes look back to Vaniti, she’s watching very intently. Trying to absorb all of the information through her eyes—er, through the blindfold too.

"Now, there’s no magical attunent. It’s cleared, and this gives us one open slot."

She tilts her head, "Open slot...?"

"Yeah. This would’ve been far easier had we need a Mage or Wizard though..." I ntion.

Vaniti nods.

Her heads looks around, peering from behind of us as her sight lands into the open area of the city.

My tail instantly goes for her hand before she makes a move.

"N-no. Not like, you go find one. I have a better alternative." I tell her, she nods. Why does she seem to take everything as a command or order now?

I’m raising an OP Spirit Elf not a damn cult mber.

With the next few bottled glass potions that were arranged in multiple colors, I popped the tops open on all of them.

"Now, what most people don’t know that the potions you use to buff or nerf yourself can also be used for attunent. But since most Attuned Armor only takes in one attribute from selected potion."

My tail collects two, and I have another one in both of my hands. Vaniti watches, but there’s isn’t a direct expression on her face. A calm neutral one more like. Pity, thought she would be more excited to see this.

Well, no worries. I am. It’s like playing Dragon Roulette. That Gacha System that shot out Attuned Armor and made you spend ridiculous prices both in real life and in-ga. I shudder at the thought of it.

Thank Dev that one is gone too.

Without hesitating, I dump all of the potions into the armor. It’s absorbed as usual, and the outline changes. It even begins to emit a slight bright light as well. Ultra Success!

I throw the empty bottles away, a glass cracking and maybe the sounds of a cat hissing violently. I don’t care, however. I think I just developed Vaniti Endga Armor that she could wear for the rest of her life, honestly.

Well, maybe. In the rare chance that sothing crazy does happen.

We watch it, it sizzles. Lightning sparks around it.

Oh?

That ans...

"Increased Adaption," I ntion. Vaniti’s ears twitched, listening intently to my words.

The outline is a slight blueish-silver.

Woah.

"Triple Magic Attack."

There’s a wave of colors that pulse at the cuffs, vibrant.

"Better Mana Flow...so essentially more mana generation. Pair that with Vaniti’s 3.5x Mana Generation Base, she would be receiving 5.5x total boost. And if I teach her the loophole SaintJerrick134 used...then..."

I look over to Vaniti, but she only looks at with a notepad and what appears to be a writing utensil. She looks at , and I look back.

No way she was taking notes.

Was she actually? No way...

"You’re taking notes?"

She nods, "Ranger Procedures, I think."

"Yeah, you’re a Nightstalker now. I don’t think being a Ranger fits your...agenda anymore." I tell her.

"Nightstalker? That’s my class, right? You’ve ntioned once or twice..." She trails off, flipping the pages of her notepad to prove her claims right. Oh, I must’ve never really told Vaniti what a Nightstalker actually does.

And for that...I would need Magic Scrolls.

A lot of them.

Sheesh, was investing in a build like that always ti consuming and annoying? I can’t rember, never had a Spirit Elf slot, nor did any of my friends ever did complain about it. Well, maybe they were used to it that’s why?

"Alright, let’s put this armor on and see how you look!" I exclaim, striking a pose. Vaniti nods, and begins to undress—

"Hey, no, no. Not here, I ant."
