Chapter 436: Chapter 436: A Life Was Taken
"Alright, let’s go then."
Yang Cheng initially didn’t want to get involved with these people, so he stood up and left the hot spring pool.
Seeing this, the three of them, including Cheng Ruonan, quickly got up and went to the pool next door.
The pool next door was larger and less crowded, so they found a corner and quietly soaked to relieve the fatigue in their bodies.
Not long after, the five men came over again, and one of them, a man in glasses, sat right next to Cheng Qiyue, secretly touching her thigh underwater.
"Ah! What are you doing?"
Cheng Qiyue exclaimed, grabbing the man’s hand.
"Why are you shouting? I just accidentally touched you. Is there a need for such a big reaction?"
The man in glasses looked indifferent, and even laughed obscenely with the few guys beside him.
Yang Cheng’s eyes darkened, and anger surged in his heart.
He had already willingly moved to another pool earlier, yet these people dared to follow. Now, they couldn’t blame him for being too harsh.
Splosh!
Yang Cheng suddenly stood up, striding over to the group.
"What do you want? Looking for a fight?"
The men also stood up, glaring at Yang Cheng fiercely.
They believed Yang Cheng wouldn’t dare to fight because there were five of them and only one of him, so he couldn’t possibly be their match.
Without a word, Yang Cheng swung his fist and punched forward.
Bang!
The man in glasses was caught off guard and punched, his glasses flying off as he collapsed straight into the hot spring, swallowing several mouthfuls of water.
"Damn it! He actually dared to hit us!"
"Brothers, let’s get him together and kill this punk!"
The remaining four realized what was happening and rushed at Yang Cheng like clumsy bears.
Yang Cheng lifted his leg and kicked the leading fat man, who fell backward, flattening his three friends.
The four of them fell heavily, sending water splashing everywhere, as if the hot spring was boiling.
Yang Cheng walked over, stepping on the bald man’s face, pressing him down hard into the water.
The bald man struggled desperately, thrashing his limbs.
"Holy shit! Is this guy crazy? He’s trying to kill him!"
The onlookers were dumbfounded, staring at Yang Cheng in disbelief, feeling chills run through their hearts.
At this moment, they seemed to realize that this young man was not someone to mess with and quickly rushed to stop him.
Cheng Qiyue, seeing the situation turning bad, urgently said, "Yang Cheng, stop, if this continues, he’ll drown."
Yang Cheng showed no mercy, continuing to press the bald man’s face.
The bald man’s limbs suddenly went limp, with no reaction. Only then did Yang Cheng lift his foot, his eyes chillingly cold.
"Ah... someone died!"
"You... you drowned my brother, I’m calling the police!"
The men stammered in fear, and their noise attracted the guests nearby.
Everyone looked over, seeing someone lying lifeless in the hot spring, and began shouting.
"Oh my god! Someone drowned! The hot spring is so shallow, how could anyone drown?"
"Get him out quickly, maybe he can still be saved!"
The crowd gathered around.
The man in glasses scrambled out of the pool, finding his broken glasses on the edge and putting them on shakily, then tremblingly pointed at Yang Cheng, shouting, "It was him! He killed my brother!"
"We were just having a little argument, and then he beat us and held my brother underwater, drowning him!"
The remaining men quickly echoed, but all crawled out of the pool, keeping a wide distance from Yang Cheng, fearing he might attack again.
"Yang Cheng, what now? You should have a way to bring him back, right?"
Cheng Qiyue stood up and grabbed Yang Cheng’s arm, asking uncertainly.
"Of course."
Yang Cheng smiled slightly, bent down, and pulled the bald man from the water, tossing him onto the edge. Then he struck his abdomen with a heavy palm.
Splurt!
The bald man expelled a fountain-like stream of water two meters high from his mouth, followed by violent coughing and vomiting.
"See, he’s alive now? You claim to be good brothers but didn’t even bother to look closely before declaring him dead."
Yang Cheng sneered, disdainfully looking at the men.
These so-called brothers were just drinking buddies who enjoyed hanging out for drinks and bragging, yet they were useless in critical moments.
"He wasn’t moving just now! We saw it with our own eyes, who knew he could still be saved."
The man in glasses was in shock, not expecting Yang Cheng’s simple slap on the abdomen to miraculously bring someone back to life.
"Get your good brother out of here. If you come causing trouble again, I’ll make you drink this hot spring dry."
Yang Cheng waved them off, too disgusted to look at them any longer.
"You... you’re too arrogant! We can’t let this slide! We’re calling the police!"
The man in glasses immediately shouted.
As soon as he finished, Yang Cheng leaped from the hot spring to the edge and swiftly grabbed the man’s throat.
The man made choking sounds, his eyes filled with terror.
"Go call, at most I’ll be locked up for a few days, but once I’m in, someone outside could come after you, making your end unavoidable."
Yang Cheng showed no fear, his eyes filled with bloodthirsty intent.
Realizing the danger they had walked into, the men’s legs turned to jelly, finally understanding they had provoked someone terrifying.
Yang Cheng was merely scaring them. Unfortunately, these guys were all talk and no substance, easily frightened into submission by just a few words from him, too scared to report to the police.
As he let go, the man in glasses slumped to the ground like a dead dog.
"Let’s get out of here!"
Someone shouted, and the group fled in panic.
The bald man, now back to his senses, also staggered away, leaving only the man in glasses trembling on the ground.
"A bunch of superficial friends, not caring about your life at all."
Yang Cheng sneered, kicking the man in glasses who trembled and crawled away in disgrace.
The crowd watched, stunned, not expecting the seemingly amicable Yang Cheng to be so ruthless in action.
"Everyone, please don’t misunderstand. I’m not a violent person; they were attempting to take advantage of my girlfriend, so I fought back."
Yang Cheng explained since he planned to stay at the hotel for a couple more days.
"So that’s what happened. Those guys didn’t look like good people anyway!"
The crowd laughed in agreement, no one daring to say anything inappropriate.
Initially planning to enjoy some hot spring time, Yang Cheng lost the mood due to those jerks and took the three women back to their room.
As soon as they entered, Yang Cheng’s phone rang.
He answered with a slight smile, saying, "General Manager Kong, what can I do for you?"
"Yang Cheng, where did you go? When are you coming back?"
Kong Lingwen asked.
"I’m in Yun Chuan, planning to come back in three or four days."
Yang Cheng wasn’t sure when exactly, intending to return after the Medicine Pill in Ye Ling’Er’s body formed.
