Road to becoming the wealthiest: Starting From Treasure Hunting in the Cabinets Chapter 1420 - 686: Hundredfold Return3
With that package of items, Sean Knight’s mood improved even further. He watched as so team mbers already skinned the badger and started rendering the oil, while others began preparing the badger at with handy cookware.
"I heard from the herdsman that this thing has four scent lines on its four legs, and they need to be removed before eating," Sean Knight asked the team mber who was butchering the badger, "Is that true or false?"
"I’ve heard of that too," the team mber replied while continuing to butcher, "I haven’t found any scent glands, just need to add more spices, and it will suppress the glandular scent."
The stuff was indeed very glandular and required a good amount of spices and cooking wine.
Professional things should be left to professionals, so Sean Knight didn’t ask any further and went elsewhere with Viola.
Viola was now carrying a Mosin Nagant, although she hadn’t been very fond of the gun initially, seeing the team mbers with theirs and herself in hunting attire, she decided to take one too and occasionally struck a pose for Sean Knight to take pictures.
Sean Knight cooperatively clicked away, taking photos of Viola.
It must be said, Viola was naturally beautiful and photogenic; even if she was just a vase, she was a qualified, exquisite vase.
Sean Knight didn’t plan to put her on the sa level as Lana Brown and Cheryl Suweton—it wasn’t realistic. Not every woman could be a powerful female figure.
Being eye-catching, beautiful, and perceptive was quite good enough.
After taking photos for a while, Viola also took a few joint snapshots with Sean Knight.
"Can I post the joint photo online?" Viola checked with Sean Knight.
"Let’s not with the joint photo," Sean Knight shook his head, "just post yours. It’s not really convenient on my side."
Viola didn’t understand Sean Knight’s financial capacity, and although she was sowhat disappointed, she still obediently nodded and went off to edit the photos herself.
Soon after, the team mbers called everyone for the al.
Looking at the badger at, Viola frowned. Russians rarely ate such things. They were scarce in this region as well.
However, Sean Knight didn’t mind; there were other gas if not this one.
After eating, they continued on their journey.
They circled the area for three days, finding this burrow patch and two collapsed military bunkers. These bunkers were hastily constructed, mainly of wood and stone. The wood had rotted quickly due to exposure to rain and sun.
Sean Knight activated Sky Eye but found nothing of value inside, so he let the team mbers explore on their own and did not intervene.
A few ruined old guns, so household items, and a few dozen silver coins were not worth his effort.
At that mont, however, Sean had already thought of the military bunker he had rented. There were still many valuable items there!
He resolved to take so ti, before leaving, to retrieve those items!
This ti, Sean and his team had obtained quite a good haul, which the team mbers intermittently sent back to the castle. They hadn’t ventured far but had just circulated around the castle.
And actually, this castle was basically the center back then. There were several nearby bunkers and village relics, though they were now uninhabited.
However, no morable items were left behind. Sean and his team circled for three days and eventually returned to the castle.
By then, the castle interior was almost renovated enough to be habitable. What was left were just minor decorations.
While geological experts continued their exploration near the small lake, Douglas Cooper arrived, packed up, and left the castle for the city.
Neither Elijah Hastings nor Lincoln Harrington asked any questions, as now each was responsible for separate areas and they didn’t have the spare ti.
As Sean Knight’s holdings had grown, although he still took them with him every ti he went out, they were no longer primarily responsible for protection and exploration. They had to manage different aspects of the business.
Sean Knight and Viola also drove to the city. Since the castle was not fully ready they couldn’t just move in; there were still purchases needed.
After several days outdoors, they needed a good wash and rest.
Two days passed and with the renovations complete, the technicians and workers withdrew; Sean and the others gradually moved the procured and settled items into the castle and moved in the next day.
"Boss, there’s sothing... different inside," Elijah Hastings sat in the first floor of the castle, looking around the lavishly decorated hall and chuckled, "This Russian style isn’t just robust."
"Haha, after all, it has a history of civilization," Sean Knight smiled, "even if it was under the oppression of the Golden Horde, it’s been quite so years. Besides, the major influence of the double-headed eagle mainly cos from Europe, so it’s normal to be heavily influenced by it."
Elijah Hastings nodded; that was the truth.
"Boss, the exploration is almost done," Lincoln Harrington entered, clapping his hands, "It’s confird, there’s indeed a diamond mine below. As for the reserve, it’s still hard to say, but it won’t be small. Only the surface visible diamonds are not very large..."
"No worries, having a mine is good enough," Sean Knight laughed, "Then let’s hire cleaners to start mining," he said, "We still need to stay here for a while."
Of course, there were no big diamonds, as the Tantans had already picked them up.
But Sean believed that below, there must be bigger ones!
After settling the matters of the ore, Sean spoke to Elijah Hastings:
"Let’s go to the military bunker tomorrow; I always feel like there could still be so good things there."
"Alright," Elijah Hastings smiled; Sean was mostly not worried about money anymore.
Even though Elijah had noted that the discovered diamonds weren’t large, even a one-carat diamond was priced at 10,000 US dollars. With a base cost of a few thousand, considering it’s a diamond mine!
How many could there be?
That’s really uncountable.
So Sean surely made a lot of money here.
That night, Douglas Cooper made a phone call to Sean.
"Boss, I’ve found a cutting company," Douglas reported, "A small company, but the craftsmanship is good. The first diamond I had them cut, they want to keep..."
Sean asked:
"What’s their price?"
"One diamond," Douglas Cooper took out the diamond, already cut, and Sean looked at the size, just about ninety to one hundred carats, not particularly large.
"3 million dollars."
"What?" Sean was taken aback, he hadn’t expected the price of the diamond to be so high!
"It’s true!" Douglas looked around and then whispered, "I have about a dozen like this in my bag...and there are bigger ones. Although I brought two people, now—I am a bit worried!"
