Leaping through the portal at speed, Lala almost flew off the battlent onto the trucks below. Catching her before she went over the edge, I set her down with an exhausted look.

“Hehe, sorry about that!”, Lala giggled, flicking her spare D-Dial open. “Alrighty, one mass food production unit coming right up!”

Selecting the device in the D-Dial nu, Lala withdrew it from her spatial storage in a flash. Plopping down right in front of her, I hesitantly waited for sothing to happen. When nothing did, Jarvis ran a few scans to ensure it was safe.

(Jarvis)

“Are you calling our work shoddy?!”, Nana snapped, jumping out from behind Momo. “I will have you know our wiring job was impeccable!”

(Jarvis)

(Bloodtide)

Having sensed my arrival, Bloodtide had co seeking to know what brought here. Overhearing what Jarvis had said, she analyzed the device herself and ca to the sa conclusion. Under intense scrutiny from Bloodtide and Jarvis, Nana maintained that her work was flawless. Suggesting Lala or Momo could have ssed sothing up, her elder sisters gave her an angry scowl. Sensing a fight was going to break out, I asked Lala to demonstrate how it worked for .

“So, this machine works by converting raw material into food via atomic reassembly!”, Lala proclaid, puffing her chest out proudly. “Let get so dirt so I can- “

“No need, I have plenty in storage.”, I spoke, retrieving several pounds from my inventory. “Where does it need to go?”

Opening the device’s lid, Lala raised a retractable chute and told to pour the dirt down. Dumping a healthy ten pounds of soil into the chute, I stepped back and let her continue. Closing the device back up, she cleared her throat and requested steak and potatoes. As Lala eagerly waited for the device to start making the al, her face paled a bit when nothing happened after a few monts.

“Yum Yum-kun, why are you making a fool of ?! You worked just fine in my bedroom!”, Lala protested, looking to her sisters for help.

Looking the device over closely, Gid and Sephie watched them with bated breath. They knew how hard the trio had worked on the device, so they knew they'd be crushed if it failed.

(Bloodtide)

“Grr! If you know what the problem is, how about you tell us.”, Momo grumbled.

“You have not plugged it in…”, Bloodtide, Jarvis, and I said in unison.

Looking down at the power cable they were standing over, the trio collapsed to the ground in sha. Unable to stop myself, I cracked a grin and inquired if they needed a power hookup. Sheepishly nodding their heads, several hundred thousand of my nanites created an extension cord for them to plug into. Thanking , they hooked their device up and watched with relief as it ca online. Repeating her request, the device imdiately began processing her order.

Finishing the al in less than thirty seconds, the pleasant aroma of grass-fed beef radiated through the air. Picking up the plated al, Lala offered it to to have a taste. Accepting it, I cut the steak in half and popped it into my mouth. Chewing it well, I compared the taste to my cattle. While there was a difference, it was more than passable for a al.

“I would expect nothing less from a professional biologist, botanist, and inventor.”, I praised the won. “While it does not taste exactly like the real thing, the average person would be hard-pressed to tell the difference. For feeding soldiers or survivors of a disaster, it would be more than sufficient. Well done!”

Offering the rest to Gid and Sephie, the couple eagerly sampled the al with excitent. Elated their daughters had properly built a functioning device this ti, they were more than happy to sample their hard work. Giving their daughters the highest of praises, as they chewed the food, the trio bead with delight.

“So… Does this an you will take my proposal seriously?”, Lala pressed , crossing her fingers behind her back.

“I am a man of my word.”, I said. “Would you like to join for dinner after I return from vacation?”

“Yes!”, Lala replied, without hesitation. “Can Momo and Nana co too?”

“Since they assist you, I will allow it.”, I agreed, giving them a smile. “I will contact you when I return. What is a good address to reach you at?”

Exchanging contact information, Lala’s tail began frantically spinning like an airplane propeller. With my objectives completed here, I told Lawson to wrap things up here and return to base. Acknowledging my orders, he departed to go speak with the n.

“Obi-Wan, the Senate will need to be apprised of what we learned from the Zerg. My gut is telling we can only trust them until our mutual enemy is gone. After that, we very well may end up in another battle with them.”, I stated, with a serious expression. “Make sure they understand every nation will need to be ready for that possibility. From one galactic nation to another, tell them to get their shit together. The Devilukeans and my n did most of the heavy lifting because they dragged their feet. They were voted into office to represent the people, not their own self-interests. We stepped up as a courtesy this ti; do not expect the sa assistance next ti.”

“I could not have said it better myself…”, Gid agreed. “Neither of us hold Anakin, your n, or you responsible for this ss; it falls squarely on the Senate’s shoulders. The Devilukean Empire expects just recompense for our assistance today, particularly considering that my fleet had to compensate for their shortcomings.”

“Rest assured… The Senate will be receiving an earful from when I return to Coruscant…”, Obi-Wan swore. “As I said previously, Anakin and his n had to abandon millions of civilians when they retreated. Soone must take responsibility, and it will not be any of us here on Terminus today.”

Nodding my head approvingly, I bid everyone farewell and returned to the resort.

---Resort World---

Stepping back into the sea cave, I released a long sigh as my clothing transford back into swim trunks. Finding Isha giving Lileath pointers on how to best please a man, she stopped midsentence when she noticed my arrival. Cracking a smile, the Aeldari goddesses rushed over to greet .

“Is everything taken care of?”, Isha questioned.

“The situation is resolved; I am all yours for the rest of the afternoon.”, I answered. “Or rather, you are all mine for the afternoon.”

Going to retract all my nanites back into , I stopped when I heard a horny snicker over by the entrances to the cave. Discovering Slaanesh’s head poking out of the water, she gave us a big grin.

“Do not mind , please continue!”, Slaanesh requested. “I am just going to enjoy the show and tag in when it is my turn.”

“Lileath… Please be a dear and grab the bitch.”, Isha said, lifting a large rock.

“With pleasure!”, Lileath agreed.

Leaping out of the water, Slaanesh flashed her teeth and attempted to intimidate them with her ominous aura. As they were roughly equal in strength at this point, they were unfazed, which sent a shiver of fear down Slaanesh’s back. Cracking her knuckles, the Chaos God charged at Lileath, who sidestepped and tripped her. Staggering forward, Slaanesh lifted her head just in ti for Isha to clock her with the rock.

“OUCHY!!”, Slaanesh yelped, falling to the ground clutching her forehead in pain. “I was only kidding, jeez!”

“Well, that makes one of us!”, Isha spat, slamming the rock directly into the Chaos God’s gut.

“OOF!!”, Slaanesh gasped, curling up into the fetal position. “Alright… I yield… You win… Today…”

Grabbing her by the hair, the two Aeldari goddesses dragged Slaanesh over to the entrance and tossed her back into the water. Using my ice magic to seal the entrance and the Chaos Goddess for now, Isha and Lileath released content sighs.

“That felt so good!”, Lileath spoke.

“I can imagine.”, Isha said. “What Victor is about to do will be even better.”

Turning back to with flirtatious smiles, they let their hair down and strutted over to .
