With a snap of her fingers, Alia teleported a small patch of earth around her away, drawing a circle on the ground.
"How about this, if you can make step outside this circle, I lose."
Davi still thought it was impossible, but his expression changed after hearing the woman’s words. He had accepted her challenge, and so he decided to stop rely defending.
Then he charged forward...
Using his body to the fullest, he ran in circles around that seemingly invincible monster.
All the while, he kept launching attacks at her. He tried striking her by making a magical bow and firing several arrows. Then, he mixed a in among the attacks.
That said, none of the strikes even ca close to hitting the target, and she wasn’t even caught off guard by the invisible blow.
In the end, he unleashed more. Of course, the attacks were easily blocked by Alia, but they served to distract her and create a wall of smoke.
And more importantly, as he ran around the arena, he was secretly using one of his abilities, preparing for his plan.
Once again, Davi rushed straight at his opponent.
"I’m going all in now!" he shouted, drawing the girl’s attention, who smiled excitedly. Her eyes sparkled with anticipation, she wanted to see what trick the boy was going to show her.
Then he attacked with a direct, straightforward punch. Alia found it odd, but since she wasn’t allowed to teleport away according to the rules, she carefully blocked the blow, grabbing his fist, and then...

"This?!" Alia was caught off guard by the unexpected move.
Suddenly, the ground trembled, and the floor finally collapsed, forcing the girl to step back a few steps.
"I did it," Davi smiled proudly.
Instead of trying to attack that invincible monster with power strong enough to force her to dodge, Davi chose to target a weaker opponent: the ground, completely destroying the circle.
"Seriously?" Alia muttered in an irritated tone.
She didn’t even finish her sentence before vanishing from the boy’s line of sight. In an instant, she was in front of him and punched him in the stomach.
The impact had been controlled, but it landed right under his ribs, hitting a sensitive spot. Davi could barely breathe after the punch, and she still lifted him by the neck, making things even worse.
The girl had high expectations, but in the end, Davi had turned her challenge into a joke. And childishly, the girl ended up quite irritated.
But she wasn’t foolish enough to seriously injure such a talented student. That’s why she only hit so pressure points, but instead of hurting him, those blows relieved the boy’s pain.
In the end, she still couldn’t deny that he had shown several impressive things. And she disappeared, saying that she would test him again right after the team tournant. So Morrigan and Davi were left behind.
Morrigan quickly approached Davi, who was still bent over, trying to catch his breath. She offered a steady hand and helped him up.

Morrigan nodded and guided him out of the underground training arena. They climbed the stairs in silence, and Davi felt his ribs throb with every step.
When they reached a brighter corridor, Morrigan took him to Enki’s infirmary, which was open even at those hours, and one of the healers present quickly checked the boy over.
As expected, it was nothing serious, but the nurse still used a to relieve the pain and speed up recovery.
"Drink this. It will help with the pain and breathing." Finally, the man also gave him a healing potion.
Davi took the vial and drank the contents. The liquid had a slightly sweet taste, and almost imdiately, he felt a comforting warmth spread through his body.
The pain in his ribs decreased significantly, and his breathing returned to normal.
"Thank you," he said sincerely, returning the empty vial to the nurse.
Then the maid told him the details about how and when the next training sessions would be. And soon they didn’t have much more to talk about, and they were both too tired to just chat.
"See you tomorrow," Davi said, getting up.
"Yes, have a good night, Davi," Morrigan replied, accompanying him to the infirmary door.
The two said goodbye and went their separate ways. Since the boy didn’t have a car, he would have to walk ho.
As he walked, he sighed wearily. The day had been exhausting, and he could still feel all the muscles in his body begging for rcy after the fight against Alia. After all, he didn’t stand a chance against that monster.
On the way back ho, he admired the moonlight as he walked with slow steps. In his mind, he replayed the entire fight, rethinking every decision, every move.
But no matter how much he thought, it was impossible to find a scenario in which he would win. Even to manage to cause a little damage and land a blow, he already needed to push himself to the limit and use several tricks.
It was almost like when he faced his father; he couldn’t even imagine himself winning.
"I wonder what it would be like to face him with my current power?" Davi murmured, thinking back to that man.
Since he had been too weak before, he couldn’t even properly gauge his father’s true strength. But he could imagine he was still far from having the necessary power at that mont. After all, his father was a renowned explorer.
But he set those worries aside and lazily opened the door to his house.
As soon as he stepped inside, Alexia greeted him with a smile. She walked up to him and took the bag off his back without him even needing to ask.
"You look tired. Why don’t you sit on the couch and let give you a massage?" the girl said sweetly, placing the backpack on the floor.
The boy responded with a grunt of agreent, and was then guided to the couch by his girlfriend, who even helped him take off his sneakers.
At that mont, Lara approached. She explained that since Davi had arrived very late, they had to have dinner without him. But she would heat up the food for him.
"Thank you," Davi said with a big smile.
Alexia’s project to buy and set up a house where everyone could live had already been completed in less than a week. So things were still missing, for example, she wanted to add a bathtub to the place.
She also had plans to build an actual lab there, so Luna would stop sleeping at the academy so many tis during the week, sothing Davi definitely supported.
"How was your day?" Ember asked. Then her eyes settled on her man’s chest, and she noticed a few bruises and other injuries. "Did soone attack you? It doesn’t matter who it was, I’ll teach them a lesson!" she said with a furious tone.
Davi chuckled softly at the redhead’s reaction as he leaned forward to let Alexia finish removing his shirt.
At first, he had found it strange, but by now he had gotten used to having her act as his personal maid at all tis.
"The one responsible for my injuries was Alia," Davi explained, and Ember’s expression changed imdiately.
With a nervous smile, she admitted, "Sorry, but I don’t think I can teach her a lesson."
"Alia? You fought her?" Alexia, who had just started the massage, asked curiously.
"Yes. She wanted to test or sothing, so we had a simulated battle," Davi sighed. "Also, from now on I’ll be training every night with Morrigan, so I imagine coming ho late will beco a regular thing."
"I understand, so I’ll prepare the food later starting today," Lara said, approaching the living room.
