Chapter 364: Book Pavilion

Lin Yun paused for a mont when he heard what Fan Ling said. He then asked in low tone. "Dragon Pavilion Hall?"

"Yes." Fan Ling took a deep breath. Her grandfather had turned blind eyes when she told him that she wanted to follow unconventional way. However, now that news about Lin Xiao being a prince spread, she knew that her grandfather would ask for her to et him once more.

The fact that Lin Xiao was a prince might be able to break the delicate balance between the current three princes so far.

Lin Yun nodded. If he had to be honest, Lin Xiao was capable of opening that Dragon Pavilion Hall, but he didn’t know whether his brother would be willing to showcase that ability to others or not.

After all, once he did that, he would be on the radar of the other princes.

He had crippled Prince Lin Kai. The others surely wouldn’t let him off if he was proven to be a hindrance to them.

For now, Lin Yun naturally didn’t say it to Fan Ling yet. He had to wait for his own brother to say it by himself because he didn’t want to spread this secret to anyone else.

Inside the book pavilion, Lin Xiao headed to the third floor. The guards glanced at him for a mont before letting him inside. There were only a few people inside and they were all seniors who had been staying in Sun Dragon Academy for a considerable amount of ti.

’I better search for the books I need first.’

Lin Xiao was intending to search for the books since his ti was limited when he caught the pillar in the middle of the book pavilion. Ordinary pillar wouldn’t attract his attention but this pillar was sowhat special. There were marks of blades on the surface of the pillar and it looked really unusual.

"First ti here?" A senior asked when he saw Lin Xiao stared at the pillar in the middle.

Lin Xiao cupped his hand. "Yes. This is my first ti here and I noticed that the pillar seems different than others."

"That’s because the pillar has a skill written. Don’t take wrong, it’s not the marks are written into words but more like, it’s the result of so ancient sword movent. But not everyone can learn it and it’s just left here for those who might be able to comprehend it in the future." The senior shrugged. "If you’re interested, you can try but you might just waste your ti with it."

"Thank you for your reminder, Senior."

"It’s nothing much."

As the senior walked away, Lin Xiao thought for a mont before heading to search for books for him and Princess Lan Yi Hua first. He would not have much ti to search if he were to try watching that pillar first.

On the other hand, Lin Yun and Fan Ling had just entered the Book Pavilion and their gazes naturally landed on that pillar too. They heard what the senior said and felt intrigued. Similarly, like Lin Xiao, they picked the books they wanted to morize first before they headed to the pillar.

Lin Yun especially picked several new books that was of water elent. He felt helpless when he saw that most of them were a bit leaning towards healing and supporting than attacking.

His brother was even more miserable than him as those skills that was related to lake was even fewer in number.

"He’s not done?" Fan Ling was stunned when he saw Lin Xiao was still browsing the books. They didn’t learn so many skills, right?

Lin Yun looked at his brother as his brain thought for a mont. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "He might be searching for soone else."

Soone else?

Oh!

Fan Ling nodded in understanding before she focused on the pillar. The marks on the pillar looked like it was in disarray with no clear intention of what the purpose was nor what kind of movent that could make it like this.

It was confusing.

Yet at the sa ti, they could feel strange power that was embedded deep within the marks.

Lin Xiao finished browsing and picked Mirror Lake Wall that was useful to increase his defense. Mountain Sword and Chilling Lake Sword was already more than enough for attacking. While those skills like Calming Heart Technique was rare that there was none lke that in this place.

’You should learn more about Lake Mirror.’

Hearing Lin Hu’s words, Lin Xiao felt a bit helpless. He was more used to Moon Evasion to escape but in truth, he had already morized another Lake related technique that was used for evasion, which was Lake Mirror.

It was an evasive technique, in which he could duplicate himself but the skill was so hard that Lin Xiao only managed to form a bit when he was moving a bit faster. He found it at the lower area but it was tucked at an abandoned corner and didn’t seem to be that popular.

The technique also only had one level back then and Lin Xiao only morized it because he found it interesting.

’Are you sure it’ll be useful? Also, duplicating oneself is relying mostly on speed, right?’

Lin Xiao was thinking about those images that one ford when they moved too fast. However, Lin Hu scoffed.

’if you can master Lake Mirror, your shadow will last longer.’

’And how is that going to be useful?’

’It is useful when you’re trying to escape from a powerful cultivator, ah!’

Lin Xiao resisted the urge to scowl as he browsed the bookshelf. Soon, he found the copy of Lake Mirror once more and morized the content. His face turned strange when he realized that there was so difference with the one that he found below this floor.

The essence was the sa but there were so differences.

’Did soone change the book?’

’It’s not changing but simplifying it for those at lower rank. Too bad that you can’t understand it at all." Lin Hu scoffed.
