96 Wan and Olman's Powers
Lyle decided not to fully focus on either one of the two at the very end.
His fighting ability was very important and he couldn't sacrifice that just to study poisons as he knew that no matter how much he practiced the art of poison, he would never be able to reach the heights that Ilya had reached.
Ilya's ability itself was poison and he could conjure it from his body or the surroundings simply by using and manipulating mana. Poison was like an extension of his body and the power it had was directly connected to him, aning that even without studying the art of poisons, Ilya would still have incredibly deadly poisons that could kill others.
Lyle, on the other hand, needed to study the art and use what Ilya had left in order to learn how to concoct poisons himself before being able to use them. From what little he had browsed through Ilya's many scrolls and short diaries, he learned that the man had actually even used most of the poisons on himself.
With him having the poison elent as his innate ability, one that he was born with, just like Lyle with his blood manipulation, and now the darkness manipulation as well, he was heavily resistant to poisons and could ingest poisons that would heavily injure those at the sa realm as him without much trouble.
At most, he would get sick and would need to rest for a couple of days, but after that, he would gain full immunity toward that poison and would actually have it available for his own use, easily conjuring it via mana.
Lyle was able to find out that Ilya had access to hundreds of different poisons, so were paralyzing agents like the one he had used on Lyle, and others were poisons that were untraceable and would slowly destroy the enemy from the inside for a long period of ti, just like the one he had used on the old duke.
Other poisons were those that would kill an enemy quickly, so would be dispersed into a toxic gas like the one he had given to Morn and more.
There were so many different types of poisons and ways to utilize them that Lyle knew it would take an incredibly long amount of ti for him to learn how to concoct them and safely use them.
It was simply not a viable option for him to fully engross himself in studying the art of poisons as it would take too much ti, the ti he might not have thanks to him being marked by the empress of the night and the fact that he was an assassin that would have to continue doing his job soon.
He had to focus on improving his own strength before being able to commit to learning the art of poisons, but he wouldn't simply ignore it either.
Since he had just arrived back in Orsvald, he was going to rest a bit, but before doing so, there was sothing he, Adam, and the two newcors had to do.
The two still hadn't gone through their evolutions, so Lyle first waited with Adam back in the living room before both the n arrived and sat down.
They were each now Bronze Knights, and Lyle would use them well.
It wasn't their personal strength that he was that interested in, but the fact that they had been able to get close to Morn and even form a small organization with their own effort.
Even though the area of influence their organization had was small and they mostly kept to themselves, it was still not a small accomplishnt to do sothing like that in Orsvald where there were many gangs and organizations that could be found.
The gangs themselves didn't trouble people too much. They mostly kept to creating underground fighting rings, so small illegal shops that would sell so weapons that were taken from the bodies of the dead, or so smuggled goods.
They would take money from the shops as paynt for 'protection', and would usually not go against any larger organization. Most of the larger gangs were backed by a noble, which ant that it was hard for others to simply get rid of them.
No gang dared ss with the nobles as they knew that doing so was tantamount to suicide. No noble house would allow a re gang to disrespect them like that and would imdiately go all out in an attempt to annihilate the said gang.
The experience Wan and Olman had when it ca to creating their own organization was sothing that would be beneficial to Lyle who wanted to do the sa.
He knew that he had to increase his personal strength, but also make sure to develop a force of his own for the future.
He still had no idea what plans Nicholas had, but Lyle doubted it was sothing that would be beneficial to him. He had even t the other three Shadows in the past, mostly during an important eting or when he was reporting back for so important missions.
Each tree was a mystery to Lyle as he didn't even know their nas, only their titles.
Still, none had given him the sa feeling that Nicholas had. He was an enigma, and Lyle suspected that everything he knew of the man was fake, a fabrication of Nicholas that he made in order to keep Lyle under wraps.
For what reason Nicholas did so, Lyle didn't know, and even though he owed the man everything he had, he wasn't about to do anything detrintal to himself by blindly following him.
Lyle would leave the organization to Wan and Olman, they would be the two that would be put in charge of its creation, managent, and so on.
With their personal strength being way above what it was re hours ago, the two would find it much easier to create an organization right now, coupled with the fact that Lyle and Adam would also be mbers of the organization, which ant that they had 4 Bronze Knights from the very start.
"Alright, first of all, tell about yourselves, and I don't an your nas, hobbies, and things like that, but your abilities, strength and weaknesses, and so on," Lyle told the two as they sat down on a couch and nodded at him.
"As you already know, my ability is 'Shapeshifting', it allows to change my face and body type, next to that, it also allows to change my voice and behavior, allowing to disguise myself almost perfectly."
Lyle nodded at him and listened to Wan's explanation. He had already seen how Wan changed his face before but was unaware that he could do the sa to his body as well. Changing his voice and behavior was another thing that Lyle didn't know, and it surprised him as that ant that his ability is not of a low rank at all.
He would be a perfect assassin or spy, being able to transform himself into another person and copy how they acted perfectly.
"Furthermore, it allows to have a complete view of my imdiate surroundings, I can see everything that is about 100 ters around without moving my eyes at all, so even if soone was to try and sneak up on , the mont they ca to 100 ters from , I will spot them even if they are behind ."
"Mine is 'Eagle Sight', it's a simple one, it simply improves my eyesight, and I can spot anything from about 2 miles away, even if it's as small as a rabbit."
"Furthermore, it allows to have a complete view of my imdiate surroundings, I can see everything that is about 100 ters around without moving my eyes at all, so even if soone was to try and sneak up on , the mont they ca to 100 ters from , I will spot them even if they are behind ."
Olman's ability was sowhat average, except for the complete view of 100 ters around him which was actually more than decent.
The next thing the two did was talked about the weapons they used.
Wan preferred using a curved sword, while Olman was an archer.
Since Wan rarely fought, he did not really use only one weapon, but the curved sword was what he was best at and simply had a knack for it.
As for Olman, since his ability was one that improved his eyesight drastically, it was only natural that he would use a long-range weapon like the bow. He could spot anyone from 2 miles away and set up an ambush before launching an arrow before the enemy had even noticed him.
With the two becoming vampiric servants, they had of course gained an additional ability as well.
Wan had gotten the blood manipulation ability from Lyle, while Olman received the darkness manipulation ability.
It was sowhat of a sha that it wasn't the opposite, since Wan having the darkness manipulation would make his skills at infiltrating and spying even better. But, it was what it was, none of them could access the abilities before reaching the Silver Knight realm anyway, so there was no imdiate benefit to either one of them.
Lyle explained to the two what he wanted them to do. Hearing how he wanted the two to create an organization that the two would manage made them a bit surprised, but they simply nodded to Lyle and promised to do their best.
"Alright, now, there is only one more thing all 4 of us need to do," Lyle said as he took out a jar of blood from his spatial ring.
