"Let’s go!" Liam quickly jumped out of the pickup, but still had to wait for Lisa to get out.

She was a bit slow, so Alex had already gone inside the store ahead of her.

With his thick shoes, he had no worries about stepping on the shards of glass in front of the store.

Without delay, Alex started gathering all kinds of snacks, especially bread and instant noodles. However, sothing seed to be bothering him.

"Liam, we can’t store items from Earth in the Inventory," he said when Liam and Lisa arrived.

Liam couldn’t help but furrow his brows when he heard that.

If they could store items from the store into their Inventories, things would be much easier.

They could take as much as they wanted and leave without hassle.

However, since they couldn’t, the number of items they could carry was limited.

After a mont of thought, Liam said, "Alex, Lisa, you two grab whatever you can inside, I’ll start moving it all to the pickup truck."

That was the only way they could transport more supplies.

Alex imdiately agreed and went deeper into the store, grabbing everything useful and carrying it to the storefront before heading back in.

Lisa was a bit slower to react. Only after watching Alex for a mont did she finally start moving.

Liam, waiting in front of the store, had Zombie Paul help him while he sent the Husky to take care of any zombies approaching from the nearby area.

With their help, he could work quickly and without interruption.

However, the trouble didn’t only co from zombies.

Just when Liam thought everything was going smoothly, he saw a sedan approaching.

The car stopped right beside the pickup truck.

Inside, Liam saw four burly n with tattoos all over and intimidating expressions.

The first thing they looked at wasn’t Liam, but Zombie Paul who was helping him load items onto the pickup.

"Is that thing really a zombie?" one of them asked.

"Of course it’s a zombie, no human has four arms and such pale skin," another replied.

It was obviously easy to tell the difference between a zombie and a human.

Besides, the System would tell them if what they saw was a real zombie.

"Looks like this zombie is being controlled," the driver said, then turned his gaze toward Liam, whose hand had transford into a flaming dragon claw.

Compared to his other hands, the dragon hand had the most intimidating appearance.

It made him look like soone you really didn’t want to ss with.

The gangsters began to eye his right hand cautiously.

Even more surprising to them, Liam approached their car.

"Is there a problem?" he asked, placing his dragon hand on the car door.

The mont his hand touched it, the door began to lt from top to bottom.

The man sitting next to the door flinched in fear, worried that his body might lt next.

"Sorry, man, we just ca to look for so food," the driver said to Liam in a respectful tone.

At least he and his buddies knew that Liam wasn’t soone to be taken lightly.

Hearing his words, Liam replied, "There’s plenty of stuff in the store, you’re free to take what you need."

Liam certainly wasn’t stingy, especially since the store didn’t belong to him. He, Alex, and Lisa couldn’t possibly take everything in there anyway.

They could only take what their pickup could carry.

Anyone else was free to do the sa. As long as they didn’t try to take what Liam and his group had already claid.

The driver nodded at Liam’s words.

"You heard him. We can take whatever we can carry. Hurry and grab what you can," he told his companions.

Maybe he was the most feared among them, so the others nodded obediently.

After that, they got out and entered the convenience store.

Alex and Lisa had seen everything. Since things seed fine, they continued with their work.

Of course, the sedan’s driver also got out of the car.

He approached Liam and asked, "Hey man, are you from that high school over there?"

He pointed toward their school.

Liam and the others were wearing school uniforms, so it was obvious they were students.

"Yeah. What about you?" Liam asked in return.

From what he could tell, they seed to be part of a larger group that had survived.

"We’re from the City Federal Prison. Half the inmates suddenly turned into zombies, but luckily, zombies from the outside couldn’t get in, so most of us survived. Our supplies in the prison are almost gone, though, and the guards were too afraid to go out, so they sent us — the best fighters — to search for supplies. But really, we’re also looking for a safer place to stay, hahaha..." the man laughed loudly as he explained.

Liam hadn’t expected the group to be from a prison — which ant they were dangerous people best avoided — but thankfully, he had power that made them think twice about ssing with him.

"Henry, turns out we can’t store this stuff in the Inventory. How are we gonna carry it?"

The three other n ca over, carrying drinks, food, and a few boxes of cigarettes, explaining their problem to the driver, whose na was Henry.

It seed they hadn’t realized this issue, even after seeing Liam and the others carry goods to the pickup.

But since they were using a sedan, there wasn’t much space for cargo.

With their large builds, the sedan was already cramped.

Henry furrowed his brows and looked around after hearing that.

Maybe he was looking for another pickup, but there wasn’t one nearby.

"Grab another car. We’ll split into two vehicles!" Henry finally decided.

One of his friends quickly checked a nearby car that, fortunately, still had keys. It was even a BMW sedan.

When he turned the key, the engine roared to life.

"Hahaha, this one’s still good," the man chuckled.

But just as the engine started, the trunk suddenly popped open — pushed up by a slender, deathly pale hand.

It was clearly a woman’s hand, but Liam and the others couldn’t help but wonder if it also belonged to a zombie, considering how pale it was.
