After getting over to the ladder I begin to make my way up it while listening for any movent from the zierel. The ground isn’t shaking so I think it is okay for now.

Upon reaching the top I can see the zierel a bit better.

It really is huge with all sorts of spikes pertruding out from its skin. A massive fra with arms that match it perfectly, it is definitely going to be a pain in the ass to fight.

"I think this is the best it’s going to get for a head start," Alia whispers.

I turn my head slightly, looking back at her.

"Getting a few shots here could be exactly what we need," I respond with a serious tone.

The light gathers all throughout her arm and her eye begins to glow as well, the bow forms instantly.

"I hope you are ready to kill this thing," Alia says quietly as she draws the arrow back.

"As ready as I can be," I reply while gripping onto my sword.

Light starts to fly past towards the giant zierel ahead of us, piercing it within a few seconds of her firing at the thing.

Rumble!!! Rumble!!!!!

The ground shakes as it shifts its glowing red eyes towards our direction.

"Keep firing, I’ll get as close as I can to it!" I shout before running ahead.

Running along the rooftops I can see it beginning to look towards , the ground still shaking with each step.

Wriggle. Wriggle. Wriggle.

A sudden spike within my left arm starts to cause to shake but I continue to rush towards the zierel. Running across the rooftops for as long as I can.

Fear isn’t sothing that I will let overtake ... Not if I can avoid it at all costs.

Hyup!!

I jump across the last rooftop I need to, finally finding myself a couple of feet away from the giant abomination in front of .

Ba-dum. Ba-dum. Ba-dum.

My heart is beating out my chest like it is going to explode.

"No turning back now," I say to myself while taking a step back.

I push myself forward and begin to run with as much speed as I can towards it, until I finally reach the edge. Hyup!!!

Leaping through the air it feels as if everything around is falling fast.

Just take a mont and breathe Liam... I can do this. Fighting against monsters like zierel is never going to be easy so I might as well get used to it now.

Celeste is terrified, Alia is firing arrows towards it, and I can feel the fear lingering within .

Yet, I’m not slowing down.

As I reach the zierel, my blade begins to pierce part of its chest as I feel myself descending rapidly.

Tear!!!!!!!!!

My sword begins to cut down its chest but isn’t going deep at all with how f*cking big this thing is. As I start to notice the bottom approaching my blade cos to a sudden stop near its stomach.

Grasp!!

The force alone almost sends off of it as I reach around with my left hand to grab onto the sword.

Above I can see one of its arms coming towards until a flurry of arrows pierce it.

She really is good at covering my ass during these fights but I don’t know what I can do in this situation. Alia is very limited with how many arrows she can fire before getting exhausted.

That ans the whole fight here is on a tir with what I can do.

I pull myself up a bit, planting my feet up against the zierel’s stomach as I begin to pull the sword out. After a few attempts I manage to yank it out from the inside of its stomach.

Blood splashes back in my face as I fall backwards.

Shit. Shit. Shit.

While falling I try to think of sothing to do in this instance but the best solution I co to is this...

STAB!!!!

I slam my sword down into its leg as I rapidly head for the ground below.

"Slow down! Slow down!! Co on!!!!" I shout with panic in my voice.

Tear!!! Rip!!!

The flesh tearing apart from the abomination is all I can hear as the ground finally appears within my sight.

Thud!!!

I hit the ground with a little bit of force, but it isn’t enough to keep from getting up. The red eyes are staring down at and that’s when I notice its other arm coming towards .

Tumble!!

I roll out of the way as the fist smashed into the floor next to , sending a small shockwave throughout the area around .

Rumble!! Rumble!!

Quickly I get back up while running towards its legs once again.

My gaze shifts down to the sword as I begin to wonder if I’ll be able to do anything with this damn weapon.

How does aether expect to keep anything from happening to her when the sword isn’t giving any help in this fight. The damage I’ve done isn’t enough to do anything.

It is still coming at like I didn’t even pierce it with my blade... What does that even an for us in this battle?

Asking questions like I’m going to get answers is pointless, fighting for the sake of keeping Alia alive will have to do for now. I won’t let her die to this zierel no matter what.

The blade begins to radiate a bit of light as I reach one of its legs.

Slash!!!! Slash!!!!!!

I swing the sword with all the strength I can, bringing it through its flesh over and over again.

"SCREEEE!!!!!" It begins to cry out as it stumbles back.

Rumble!!

The ground shaking causes to stumble back a few steps as blood continues to spill out from its legs. My vision is starting to get a bit blurry though.
