Standing up would show everyone what’s going on with my arm, but so would sitting here without moving it. This is quite a terrible position to be in.
The classroom door slowly opens up and two nicely dressed n enter the room. Both of them seem to be wearing all black suits with their hair slicked back.
"I apologize for the interruption but a problem ca up," a man says with urgency in his voice.
Miss Rose isn’t even looking towards them, maybe she doesn’t care for the problem.
"It concerns one of my new students, doesn’t it?" she asks with a serious look on her face.
I can feel the other man’s eyes staring right at .
At least I don’t have the urge to kill everyone in this room. That is what they probably don’t realize... if it involves I an. Who else could it possibly revolve around otherwise?
Nobody else in this room appears to be infected like I am.
"A student nad Liam is in your class, we need him to co with us," the man replies with a more serious expression on his face.
"Why?" Miss Rose Questions.
WRIGGLE!
I look down at my arm to see that everything from before is gone. It is like my arm never had any issues in the first place, but that didn’t make any sense.
Regardless it ans I can put my arm back on the table without any worry. With that I lift my arm from underneath the table and I can imdiately notice the expression of the guy change.
"I don’t think we need the kid. Everything seems like it is fine," the other man chis in.
I could feel the eyes of the other students staring right at . Most of them probably wondering what is so special about that these guys ca in.
"Nevermind, I’m sorry for the interruption," The man says calmly.
I watch as they walk back out of the classroom but I couldn’t help this strange feeling. The feeling like I was the monster in the room now.
Everyone in here has definitely had an encounter with the Zierel before so that ant sothing to them too. There isn’t really much of a reason for people to co for us.
Most of the people would have been approached by now if they were needed or if so sort of infection was present. It makes wonder how many people know about my arm.
"With that done, let’s get back to learning. I hope everyone wrote sothing down about what they think they can do," Miss Rose speaks with a bit of excitent.
I look down at my paper, mostly blank. I didn’t really have anything to write down on it since I didn’t take any of this seriously.
I’m really not into the whole classroom learning experience at the end of the world. This is definitely the last thing I’d be doing if I wasn’t attacked by the Zeriel in the first place.
Maybe I would be at ho right now with my family. Their deaths wouldn’t be sothing that haunts my mind all the ti.
I know I was quite powerless to stop anything that happened that day... but maybe if I had this awakening... that could’ve saved them from it all.
Poke. Poke.
I turn to see Tess trying to get my attention as the teach continues to go on about this stupid assignnt.
"You still haven’t found your power or what magic you can use," Tess whispers.
"It doesn’t really matter anyway. This whole thing feels pointless," I reply while keeping my voice down.
"Nothing about this is pointless. No one in this classroom knows how to properly use what they possess," Tess says while giving a look towards her own paper.
She doesn’t know that when I tried looking inside at the source of my awakening... I wasn’t able to stay long. The light is causing issues with my arm.
It hurt bad enough for to force myself to co back to reality. That alone puts in a terrible spot compared to most of the other kids here.
They have powers or so sort of magic capabilities that I can’t even access if I wanted to.
My gaze shifts back over to my arm as I observe it a bit closer for anything else. It didn’t seem like it is any different, unlike before.
The strange movent under my arm is kind of gone for the ti being. My veins are still black though, I don’t think that’s a good look in the slightest.
"The infection in your arm is very interesting," Tess says to change the topic.
"I’d rather not talk about it," I reply with a bit of frustration in my voice.
WHACK!
The sound of sothing hitting the board imdiately takes my attention away from Tess. I think she might’ve had an idea that we were talking instead of listening.
She is staring right at but she doesn’t seem to be upset. A small smile sits on her face as she continues to look towards us.
"Liam. I believe that’s you. You should bring your paper so I have an example to give the class," she says with a bigger smile now on her face.
She couldn’t just pick Tess? I don’t have a damn thing on this stupid piece of paper, plus I’m not going to be here after today.
"Sure," I reply while standing up from my seat.
I begin to make my way to the front of the class with my blank piece of paper, but sothing about this all feels off. Probably just from the strange series of events lately.
After a few monts I make it to Miss Rose who is standing tall with the sa smile on her face. I don’t really feel any pressure from this whole situation but I hand her the paper.
I watch as her expression doesn’t seem to change in the slightest.
Wouldn’t a teacher be upset? I don’t understand.
