Farah suddenly didn't know how to act before him since she had no idea if Kale was going to confront her or not, especially knowing how angry and resentful he was.
On the other hand, Kale, when he saw her, unconsciously clenched his fists as if he wanted to launch an ethereal attack on her to kill her and get it over with.
But he then rembered the words his brother said about striking at the right ti. So, his stiff expression relaxed as he saw her and walked towards her with a forced smile, trying his best to not give away any signs to her.
Farah inwardly was confused seeing Kale approaching her with his usual simple smile, but then she rembered how Godnim had indirectly told him to act as if everything was normal.
So she decided to act normal as well as she got up with her best smile and said, "Dear, where were you? I have been waiting for you all this ti."
'Keep acting, you bitch...We will see who will smile in the end…' Kale wanted to let out this thought, though, on the outside, he replied while maintaining his smile, "Wi-Wifey, I never went anywhere else," Kale found it hard to call her 'Wifey' endearingly like always after knowing everything, though he sohow forced it out.
"Ah, the two people I was looking for!"
Hearing Tristen's voice, the subtle tense atmosphere between Kale and Farah dissipated away as the two looked at him.
Kale inwardly let out a sigh of relief seeing Tristen since he felt that he couldn't stand the sight of Farah anymore and might do sothing reckless.
Farah inwardly snorted, knowing how Kale would react once he knew that his brother was already dead and the mastermind behind it was the one always accompanying Tristen.
Damien, who was walking behind Tristen, saw the contemptuous glint in Farah's eyes and subtly smiled, indirectly warning her what would happen if she told Kale the truth about his brother.
"Please, co with to my tent. I have sothing to tell you both," Tristen gestured with his hand as he walked forward while the rest followed behind.
Damien decided to let Valentina rest since she still seed deep in slumber while Yuria was exhausted after the sensual battle with him.
From this, he realized that Yuria's augntation power was quite powerful but at the sa ti had serious after-effects that could be quite troubleso depending on the situation.
It was no different than a double-edged sword that could be quite powerful when used in the right place and at the right ti.
Farah inwardly felt more relaxed, seeing that the demoness, Alena, wasn't with Godnim right now since she didn't want to be anywhere near her.
As they all walked towards Tristen's tent, Kale's expression suddenly frowned before relaxing after a few monts.
Farah had no idea what Godnim was planning to do by bringing them all along, especially when he told Kale to act normal before her.
But she felt that now there should be no need for Kale to act oblivious before her since she had found out what they were up to and likewise.
The mont all of them entered the tent, Farah was about to say sothing when her eyes widened upon seeing a hand closing in on her face.
*SLAP!*
A resounding slap echoed in the tent as Farah touched her reddened cheek, looking at Kale with a shocked look.
Kale's expression was no longer that of a love struck fool from before but instead seed as cold as a stone as he said, "Why act like you are surprised when you already know what you did?"
Farah gulped as she never expected the usually soft and simple husband of hers to suddenly beco so cold and fierce.
Even though she knew he had found out about her, she never expected him to really lay a hand on her and expected him to still be lenient with her considering how much he loved her with all his heart.
Even though Kale didn't use any ethereal energy behind his slap, Farah, for so reason, felt as if it was the most painful slap she ever got.
But this feeling dissipated the next mont as she put up a guilty expression and said as she kneeled before him, "Dear, please, forgive this wife who has sinned and wronged you!"
Farah was still hoping to lt Kale's heart with her pitiful gestures and words, hoping to at least get Kale back on her side. If he was able to forgive now, then she was sure he would forgive her no matter what she does in the future.
Farah smiled as she felt Kale's palm gently touching her head but then the next mont, her eyes widened when she felt his palm grabbing her hair and pulling her up.
"You slut...you have the face to beg for forgiveness after whoring around?!" Kale said with gritted teeth as he clutched her hair, pulling it backward, making her expression grimace in pain.
Farah didn't struggle and grabbed his arm, "Husband, please, you have to understand. I was doing it all for you! I wanted you to be the emperor!"
Kale's expression didn't waver, but instead, he got even angrier as he clutched her face, "You have the guts to call 'husband' after everything? I don't want to hear that word coming from your filthy mouth. The next ti you call that or anything remotely similar, then I will cut your tongue!"
*Slap!*
He slapped her off as he added, "And stop spouting more lies with that tongue of yours. Or maybe since everything is out in the open, I should just kill you right now…" Kale said with a dark expression as his hand moved towards his sword.
"Alright, Kale, calm down. We still need her," Tristen interfered as he made Kale put his hand down.
Farah inwardly harrumphed as she looked at Godnim and was seething in anger because of the humiliation she never expected to face and being looked down upon like this.
"Now, Kale, we don't really have to do the heavy lifting since your 'wife' here is going to help us with all her effort," Tristen said with a smile.
