Done eating, Ezra teleports straight from his seat, giving the hostess a good scare as she looks around for him before shaking her head and returning back to work.

He had already paid, so there was no issue with his disappearance.

Appearing before Sidal soon afterwards, he receives reports that had him smiling in no ti.

Using the connections of the company, Sidal had been able to pinpoint the identity of the dragon he t on Poliam.

Khasavar Exalon, from the Exalon family of black dragons, one of the main families of black dragon clan.

Two more pages were attached denoting all else he found out about the dragon.

"Impressive" Ezra comnts.

"Thank you" Sidal replies.

For the next two hours, Ezra then grills him on what he experienced about a week ago during the sa ti he had just broken through and its effects on him.

For one, he had been exercising when it happened.

He felt energy surging within him, but later fainted because of the pain before waking up later on to find his body to have completely changed.

His flabs of at in his abs and muscles had disappeared, leaving behind a fit body with a certified six pack.

He doesn’t even need to use his monocles anymore!

Ezra was surprised. ’I thought the monocle was just an aesthetic’

"Sidal, I have broken through to the Nascent realm"

"Really?" Sidal asked, eyes wide.

"Yes" Ezra nods.

"This is wonderful news Sir" he speedily comnted, suddenly snapping his fingers as sothing ca to mind.

"I shall inform the Cretin council right away Sir"

"Not yet" Ezra shook his head. "Report to them only after I’m done with the secret realm expeditions this year"

"Yes sir"

From Ezra deductions, there was basically zero chance for there to be a secret realm for nascents in this galaxy cluster and the council would have access to it while the black dragon clan wouldn’t.

’So I’m almost certain that its in another galaxy cluster’

aning, Ezra would have to venture there to explore the secret realm.

In this case, Ezra decided it would be better to expedite the two Nascent realms here first and place gatemarks within them before leaving for another galaxy cluster, since he couldn’t say when he would return.

Unlike the previous secret realms for Transcendents, the Nascent realms both opened in the first half of the year.

The first one opens any ti from the second week of March, and the other in the first two weeks of June.

’Wait a minute’ then it hit him.

’What’s today?’

The reason he’d been rushing to breakthrough to Nascent rank before the start of the new year.

Check the date on his communicator, Ezra’s brow creased.

Zydrax had said he had almost used sixth months, but Ezra hadn’t really comprehended what that ant at the ti.

22nd February 3089 UC.

With the first secret realm opening anyti from the second week of March, he had a little over ten days to prepare.

Ezra let off a light sigh.

’And here I thought I could take it easy for a while’

Regardless, he was still very much pleased to have achieved his objective, and that too right in the nick of ti.

Also...

’It’s already been a year huh’

A year had elapsed since his first arrival at the Black Dragon star cluster.

’What a year’

He had fought an Astral beast right off the bat, gained a sponsor because of it, joined a clan as an Elder, initiated a wave of technological advancent on his ho world, fought a Nascent, made friends with another, had Skyfall reforged, ventured into secret realms, and finally, achieved Nascence.

Reminiscing, Ezra grinned.

Indeed, he had made very good use of his ti.

But this was just the start, he had soar much, much higher before he could be comfortable and more importantly, to enact Zydraxs revenge.

Ezra clenched his fist, with his grin still there.

’A realm expedition right at the start. It seems this year is going to be very interesting as well’

Murmuring under his breath, Ezra is interrupted.

"Um...Sir?"

Broken out of his reverie, only then does Ezra realize that he was standing in front of Sidal.

Sidal: "....."

Ezra: "....."

Ezra diffuses the awkward atmosphere with a cough, clearing his throat before patting Sidal on the shoulder.

"Keep up the good work"

With that, he vanishes, leaving Sidal to stare into blank space for half a minute before heading back to his office.

With Zydraxs bringing in Astral elixirs, Ladium and the top tier pills, which were by far the best items AlphaNova had to offer, he had long beco the head rchant wielding the greatest influence, with only little more to go before he would be appointed as the CEO himself.

Sidal had also been keeping tabs on the forr CEO in preparation of whatever sche he would sought to pull.

But, so far so good, he hadn’t made any moves yet, but Sidal had little doubt he would still sothing.

******

Vanishing out of sight, Ezra returns to the sovereign universe.

Looking over the arrangent of stars and planets, a thought pops up in his mind.

’I should start looking to expand this place’

While his soul had enough space to hold an entire universe, it only expanded to the level of what it contained, and right now, that was a single galaxy.

During the ti he stayed on Poliam waiting for Khasavar to co return, the thought of inducting more planets crossed his mind, but Zydrax disuaded him.

For one, there was little use inducting a barren planet, it would far more useful inducting a planet full of people.

But should he do so, the consequences would be unpredictable.

While constellations would surely not bother on such a matter, the sudden disappearance of a planet would call the attention of nascents.

But while a barren planets disappearance wouldn’t affect anyone, the disappearance of a planet full of people would be an completely different situation.

One where the Black Dragon clan would utilize their best resources to find out the culprit as well as whoever else has their families on the planets.

Having already shown his power to induct to Evanol and his crew during the astral beast incident, it would easy work for them to suspect him.

Being a Transcendent, they might not even believe that he had such power, but it wouldn’t take much for them to decide to place him in captivity forever.

As such, the best option was for him to find other undiscovered galaxies and planets to induct.

To do that, he would have to venture into the astral sea, and one was recomnded to be at least a Nascent before doing such a thing.

Moreover, as a Nascent, they were expected to move as a group, lone movent was extrely ill-advised.

Therefore, Zydrax gave a straightforward response.

He was to wait till he broke through to the Nascent rank.

Now that he had done that, increasing the number of galaxies in his universe was a priority.

Doing so calculations, Ezra places venturing into the astral sea behind the expeditions as well as the one from Rosveller as well.

With that, Ezra shifts his attention to sothing else.

’What should I do about the Red Dragon Clan?’

He had joined them as an Elder to fetch himself opportunities he couldn’t get by himself as a Transcendent.

But that didn’t apply anymore.

As a Nascent, without a forr connections or anything of the sort, many clans would be looking to accept him.

Not to ntion, the red dragon clan wasn’t anything to boast about.

They were lacking in almost every section compared to the likes of the green dragon clan and likewise the blue dragon clan.

Although that was the reason why Ezra was able to beco an Elder with just a single astral elixir in the first place...

’So, how should I go about this?’

While it seed obvious that he should leave the red dragon clan, such matters weren’t so simple.

If he did leave and went to another clan, while he would most definitely receive the proper privileges, he would also labelled an opportunist and a traitor.

Yet staying in the red dragon clan didn’t seem at all profitable in the long run, and Ezra would rather not waste his ti.

Like this, he had run into a dilemma.

With no answers in sight, Ezra calls upon his advisor.

Zydrax.

Informing of the the problem at hand, Zydrax lets off a ’hmm’.

[The way you’re thinking about it is wrong]

’What do you an?’

[You shouldn’t look at the clan as a single entity but as a branch of a much large entity, like a tree] he begins.

[You already know that just like how this galaxy cluster is ruled over by Black Dragons, there are also galaxy clusters ruled by each colour of the dragon race and they are all cooperating but also competing with one another]

[That should make you understand that this red dragon clan is only a branch of the many that exist]

’Okay’ Ezra nods. ’But I still don’t get where you’re going with this’
