[End Of Information]
I smiled even more.
This was simply perfect. It almost felt like I was extorting the System.
Usually, rewards were split among Party mbers based on their accomplishnts in a Floor Quest. The fact that I did everything solo ant that the rewards would all co to .
I had no idea what chump change the fools tagging along with were receiving, but it couldn’t be compared to the main thing.
“Now, then… should I try it now?”
Thanks to the Ghost Magic in my possession, I could interact with dead beings and their life essence. Of the Ghost Spells that existed, I currently had two in my Grimoire.
Soul Reaping and Soul Enslavent.
With the forr, I could forcefully collect the souls of my target. Of course, my proficiency and Mana Levels had to exceed whoever I wanted to use it on. Souls could be used to power my spells, or I could forge stuff and add their properties to it.
They served many useful functions and could even be used to deal phantom damage on foes. My Spirit Ring stored souls, so I didn’t need to keep them in [Subspace]. Also, unlike the storage of [Subspace] that would keep them in the exact sa condition I took them, the Spirit Ring amplified the Souls by resonating them with one another.
I could also use the Ring to deal direct phantom attacks with the Souls I had in store.
My favorite feature of the ring was combining souls stored inside and making a more advanced soul.
In any case, Ghost Magic was epic.
As for the second spell in my possession, one which I was looking forward to very much—Soul Enslavent—it allowed to dominate Souls.
Having Souls in my possession didn’t an I could completely control them. They would simply deal damage to targets. Afterward, it was best to return them to the Spirit Ring. If not, they could bare their fangs on anyone in the vicinity.
By using Enslavent, not only did I have their loyalty, but I could also command them to do any task… not just simple attacks.
It was perfect!
And since I had many Souls in my possession, it was the perfect chance to try things out.
“Summon Soul: Barbados”
Instantly, a blackish swirl revolved around , and a wicked purple light appeared.
It glowed and hovered in the air, taking the shape of an orb. Black energy distorted the air like fog and the purple light warbled.
“So, this is Barbados’ Soul…”
It wasn’t attacking yet, most likely a result of my Title. Still, if it got aggressive, I could end up being caught in a crossfire.
“Grimoire”
A golden book appeared before , glowing with light and surrounded by several tiny lights like fireflies.
It was the Golden Grimoire, the best one available in the STORE. I spent a great deal of Karma Points to get this, but it was worth every penny.
Usually, Grimoires had limitations and could only store so kinds of Spells. They also had limited Spell Slots. While they allowed non-Mages to use Magic Spells that weren’t Skills, they only permitted so types of Spells and were restricted by Grades.
This Grimoire was different.
It had an infinite number of Slots.
It allowed all Spells
It allowed all Grades.
It wasn’t the ultimate Grimoire, but… it was still one of the best.
‘Only Ars Goetia and Sacred Scriptures are superior to it… I think.’
“Ghost Magic.”
The pages flipped on their own and arrived at the spot where [Ghost Magic] was boldly imprinted on.
“Alright!”
Staring at the humming orb—the soul of my sparring partner, Barbados—I simply ntioned the Spell.
“Soul Enslavent”
Instantly, a distortion appeared around the two of us. Purple light shone and black mist filled the area.
Soul Enslavent was basically a war of wills. So Souls could be docile, especially if the user was way more powerful than the target. However, there was no point in Enslaving a weak Soul.
Barbados was quite the troublemaker when he was alive and even when he died. He also had the pride of the Dragon race. He was obviously not going to give in easily.
This could take a while… especially since my proficiency was still low.
[SYSTEM UPDATE]
“E-ehh…?”
“For real? That easily?” I was shocked.
Where did the will of the Dragon race go to? The Dragon Slayer Title in my possession simply gave bonus damage infliction on mbers of the Dragon race.
If the Soul Enslavent worked so well, that ant the Soul of Barbados was docile toward . I wonder why…
‘Maybe because I beat the shit out of it?’
In that case, I could try that thod with other opponents I encountered. That way, I could get easy subordinates with

“Hmn, let’s go with Barbados.”
That was cool. I had a dragon under my command.
Of course, its physical body was lost so it could only work in its astral form. Still… it was crazy strong, right? Plus…
‘Giving it a body won’t be a problem later on…’
With that completed, I still wanted to try sothing out.
The team I ca with didn’t seem to mind that I was taking so long. Since that was the case, I decided to do sothing a bit more radical.
“Spirit Ring…”
