Standing in front of the real estate agency, Steven glanced at the notification for a mont, before turning his attention to the building in front of him, with a smile and a look of anticipation on his face. He was really excited, but he did his best to keep it in check.

He had already called ahead before coming, to ask if there was a condo unit available. The real estate agent had confird it, telling him that there was a good unit available and that if he was really interested, he could co over to check it out.

"I hope I can sign the contract for the place today, so that I can move in today or tomorrow," he muttered to himself.

He really did want to move out of his current apartnt, but he was aware that there was no need to rush. He also knew that signing the contract the sa day was unlikely, as the required procedures wouldn’t allow it.

After standing there for a mont, Steven took a deep breath, adjusted his shirt, walked to the building’s entrance, pushed the door open, and stepped inside.

He walked briskly to the reception desk. As he got closer, the receptionist noticed him and a professional smile spread across her face.

"Good morning, sir. Welco to Bluestone Real Estate," she greeted. "How may I help you?"

"Hi. I’m here for the viewing of one of the available condo units," Steven replied.

"Your na, please."

"Steven Craig."

She nodded and pressed the intercom, informing the person on the other end that a Mr. Steven Craig was at the reception.

"Yes. Yes. I will inform him now," she said, before taking her finger off the intercom and raising her head.

"A real estate agent will be with you shortly, sir. You can take a seat over there while you wait," she said, gesturing to the waiting chairs.

"Thank you," Steven nodded, and walked over to take his seat.

As he waited for the agent, he brought out his phone to keep himself busy. He saw that he had an unread ssage from Tisha, wishing him all the best.

He smiled and typed a reply.

"Thanks. Wishing you the sa. And if he tries to do that to you again, kick him in the balls."

Steven felt bad that he was no longer there to act as a deterrent to his pig of a boss. But he had confidence that Tisha could handle herself. It would just be slightly more inconvenient for her now.

He was still thinking about his forr workplace when he heard his na being called, snapping him out of his thoughts.

He raised his head and saw a middle-aged man in a blue suit standing in front of him, with a professional smile on his face.

"Good morning, Mr. Craig. I’m Andrew," he greeted, with his hand outstretched.

Steven stood up, took the hand, and shook it.

"I will be taking you on the tour of the condo. Are you ready to leave now?" Andrew asked.

"Yeah. Sure," Steven nodded.

"This way, sir," Andrew said, and started walking toward the door, leading the way, with Steven following behind.

"Did you co with a car, or do we take mine?" Andrew asked when they stepped outside.

"Yours," Steven replied.

Andrew nodded and led the way to his car. He got into the driver’s seat and Steven got into the passenger’s seat. The agent started the car imdiately and drove off in the direction of the property.

The drive took about twenty minutes. Andrew stopped the car in front of a beautiful apartnt building.

"We are here, Mr. Craig," Andrew said, stepping out of the car.

Steven stepped out and his eyes fixed on the apartnt building in front of him. They were currently in one of the city’s best neighbourhoods. It was a high-end area, and that was made clear by the appearance of the properties around him.

"Co. Let lead you up to the condo," Andrew said and walked to the entrance.

He brought out a key card from his docunt bag and placed the chip side against the entry reader.

A beep was heard, then a click, indicating that the door had been unlocked.

Andrew pushed the door open and held it, gesturing for Steven to go in.

Steven stepped through the entrance and the two of them walked to the elevator. Once inside, Andrew punched in the floor number and the elevator started going up.

Since the ride would take a while, Andrew began telling Steven about the apartnt building, covering its anities, which are the shared features the property had to offer.

As he spoke, Steven listened and nodded in acknowledgent. While what the agent was saying was important, he was more focused on the condo itself. The building’s shared anities wouldn’t matter if the unit turned out to be sothing he didn’t like.

A couple of minutes later, the elevator stopped with a ding and the two of them stepped out. They walked down a short hallway before finally reaching the condo’s door.

The agent swiped the key card against the entry reader, and the familiar beep and click followed.

He pushed the condo door open and the two of them walked in. Steven’s eyes widened in surprise when he saw the interior.

Andrew turned to him, and a smile of satisfaction crossed his face when he caught the look on Steven’s face.

"Shall we begin the tour?" He asked.

Steven nodded and they started moving through the condo. It was mostly Steven doing the exploring, with Andrew constantly supplying information and details about the apartnt.

The apartnt was a standard size for a one-bedroom unit and had everything one could ask for.

The living space had an open floor plan, with a furnished living room, a dining area, and large windows.

The kitchen was modern and ca fully equipped with all the appliances he would need, all of top quality.

The bedroom was equally spacious, with a walk-in closet and the sa large windows as the living area.

The apartnt also had an in-unit washer and dryer, a balcony with a city view, and access to a building gym. There was also underground parking, though that would only be relevant in the future when he got a car.

The in-unit washer and dryer were a big convenience to Steven, as he would be able to do his laundry in his apartnt.

For a unit that wasn’t a penthouse, it was more than decent, and it made Steven want to move in imdiately.

Standing in the living room, Steven looked over the quality furnishings and smiled to himself in satisfaction.

"I want it," he said to the agent.
