Capítulo 804: Chapter 13: The Beast of the Endless Maw

In the original ga world, there is a group known as the “Literature Party,” who take interest in reading script materials within the ga world and delving deeply into the settings behind the worldview. They are also regular visitors on major forums and video sites.

Among these discussions, regarding the “never-ending storm” in the depths of the Atlantis Ocean, there was historical evidence cited by the Literature Party speculating that it originated from the interface between the Main Plane and the Deep Sea Plane.

In a mystical sense, the universe we reside in is the Main Plane, also called the “Material Plane.”

Aside from the Material Plane, there are many subordinate planes that interact with the Main Plane, engaging in material or energy exchanges.

For instance, the “Shadow” Sequential Ability used by little Mia is actually entry into the Shadow Realm, which is what is referred to as the “Shadow Plane.” The light from the Main Plane is continuously absorbed by the Shadow Realm (the specific chanism is unknown), so when people gaze at the night sky, it appears pitch black.

Otherwise, with nearly infinite star systems in the universe, even if each star only provides a small point of light, it would be enough to make our night sky extrely bright.

The Deep Sea Plane is a similar existence. It absorbs the energy of background radiation waves from the Main Plane and then outputs a large amount of material—mainly water at the interface located deep within the Atlantis Ocean on planet Helel.

In fact, in ancient tis, the Atlantis Ocean wasn’t originally an ocean, but a super empire called “Atlantis” built on land. According to the Literature Party’s research, due to a major incident with the Mage Association, which has been erased from history, the Imperial City suddenly connected with the Deep Sea Plane, creating an interface that continuously spewed water, causing the prosperous western continent to be completely subrged in a few years.

The surviving Ancestor Mage Association, on the eastern coast, exerted all their strength to open an interface to another plane (now located at the seashore of Agos Ancient City on the Sirius Peninsula), allowing the continuous discharge of incoming water, thus averting the risk of planet Helel becoming a liquid ocean planet.

This Ancestor Mage Association was nad “Zongdelilic,” which, after the fall of the Atlantis Empire, retreated to the west, away from the continent, to monitor and manage the drainage from the western Deep Sea Plane interface.

When a post containing various historical evidences was shared on the forums, it attracted countless players to set sail for Atlantis, trying all sorts of daring actions in the stormy depths in search of the lost treasures of Atlantis… of course, mainly in search of the so-called Zongdelilic group, hoping to pick up so tasks or whatnot.

With nurous players’ adventures ending fruitlessly, this was considered to be a speculative “satellite” released by the ga planners, one large pit dug, with this storyline still not arranged in the current version.

However, in the tavern at Hero Harbor, when Aske heard the na “Zongdelilic,” he imdiately recalled that archeological post that caused a sensation on the forums back then.

Therefore, in his previous probing with the priest, he intentionally put on a bold front, using many keywords to intimidate the opponent—sure enough, the opponent imdiately changed their deanor, intending to lead them into the inner chamber for a detailed discussion.

Passing through the entrance hall cave, inside was a main hall with an even larger do. Here, there were fewer Naga guards, but instead, more Nagas were adorned in sacrificial robes.

They were either sitting or lying down, with their snake tails imrsed in the pool, constantly drawing various mysterious symbols in the air, muttering to themselves, seemingly conducting so kind of sacrificial ritual.

“The Deep Sea Plane is actually no longer a threat nowadays,” the leading Naga priest suddenly said, then fell silent, clearly observing Aske’s expression, testing how much he already knew.

“Because of the bottomless pit in the east?” Aske asked.

“That’s right.” The priest thought this guy even knew about this, “The diterranean, as you humans call it, was referred to as the ‘Eastern Basin’ during our ti by the Empire, a fertile land surrounded by mountains and sunken in the middle, ho to nearly a third of the Empire’s population.”

“After the Deep Sea Plane collided with the Main Plane and connected, a massive influx of seawater from the west destroyed our central checkpoint (the Gibraltar Strait), causing the entire Eastern Basin to be flooded and destroyed.”

“At that ti, our Zongdelilic was rely a branch of the Ancestor Mage Association in the east. Acting on our own due to being completely cut off from headquarters, we took a risky gamble, ultimately saving the world from being engulfed by endless oceans.”

The priest, with a hint of proud sentint, recounted the past deeds of salvation by the Zongdelilic. Aske followed along with expressions of amazent and concord, inwardly thinking that wasn’t it their own affair that caused the issue with the Deep Sea Plane? When trouble arose, they just separated themselves from their organization’s headquarters, huh?

“However, not only water erged from the Deep Sea Plane at the ti.”

At this point, the Naga priest tactfully fell silent again, then looked towards Aske.

This feels like a guessing ga where I have to provide an answer for you to continue to the next question… Aske thought sarcastically to himself, voicing a guess:

“Is it the Infinite Stomach Beast?”

“The Infinite Stomach Beast is a tiny entity akin to a shrimp in the Deep Sea Plane, which is why it can pass through the interface and co here.” The Naga priest continued moving, the water naturally parting to both sides along his snaketail, “Yet in our world, it is an enormous being that no one could defeat.”

“Is Leviathan a descendant of this creature?” Aske asked.

“Yes and no.” The Naga priest answered ambiguously, “Their lifeforms are far above ours, not needing to reproduce through mating. To be precise, the Leviathan is a part of the Infinite Stomach Beast’s body, an Extraordinary Creature differentiated from its sloughed-off dead skin.”

Aske: ………….

He had seen the juvenile Leviathan, and an ordinary juvenile Leviathan was about the size of a city, while the Leviathan’s mass was roughly equivalent to one province of our nation. If Leviathan was rely the dandruff of the Infinite Stomach Beast, then the Infinite Stomach Beast itself…

Mustn’t it be at least as large as the entire Eurasian Continent?

“Hmm.” Seeing his astonishnt, the Naga priest nodded and said, “Otherwise, do you really think the Atlantis Empire, which flourished for nearly ten thousand years, would have been subrged by a re flood?”

“So Atlantis’s destruction was because, at the mont of connection with the Deep Sea Plane, the Infinite Stomach Beast appeared and ‘smushed’ it directly into pieces?” Aske speculated.

“Precisely speaking, it was devoured,” the Naga priest corrected seriously, “so there shouldn’t be a ‘smush’ onomatopoeia, but it doesn’t matter anyway.”

“In any case, the Infinite Stomach Beast needed to hibernate to digest the Atlantis Continent, and when it awakens once more, its next feeding target would inevitably be the North Continent or South Continent you dwell in, ultimately consuming the entire world.”

“Therefore…” Saying this, the Naga priest once again annoyingly paused, turning a probing gaze on Aske, as if to say, “If you can’t guess this, then there’s no reason for to divulge the additional information.”

If it were an ordinary person, asking how to defeat an unbeatable BOSS, they probably would not have been able to guess. However, Aske, having played gas like Elder Scrolls V, had an incredibly wide perspective in such matters; realizing that the other party ca from a past tiline, the answer naturally erged.

“Since it can’t be defeated now, then wait until it can be defeated in the future before taking it down.” Aske answered.

The Naga priest raised an eyebrow in surprise but didn’t imdiately respond.

The trio passed through the grand main hall and the long corridor, finally reaching the cave’s lower level:

A small chamber featuring a lake at the bottom.

“So,” the Naga priest turned around again, “what price is required to employ you?”
