Chapter 771: Dragon Boat Festival Extra (Part 1)

The first rays of morning sun shone through the windows of Weisbach Palace.

Aske slowly opened his eyes and lifted himself halfway up from the soft mattress, only to see Eleanor erging from the washroom after freshening up.

She had wrapped a large towel around her chest, revealing her fair neck and collarbones, her radiant blond hair simply tied at the back to prevent it from falling.

“My dear, I need to talk to you about sothing,” Eleanor said seriously, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Aske then propped himself up and slowly embraced her from behind, groggily resting his chin on her shoulder.

“Mike,” the tutor told he suspects there’s sothing wrong with his sexual orientation,” Eleanor said worriedly.

“What?!” Aske imdiately woke up fully alard.

Maximilian Joseph von Weisbach, Aske and Eleanor’s first son, was now 14 years old.

Here, people usually referred to him by his Frankish na, and his Chinese na was not commonly used in this world, so it is not ntioned here.

“What do you an by sexual orientation?” Aske’s face turned displeased.

Since both were Demigods, Mike was born weakened due to their suppressed bloodline. Fortunately, with a godmother who mastered the Evolution Law, Nora had roughly conditioned his body during his infancy, warding off the fate of early illness and death.

Perhaps because of this, Mike now had a slender figure but a delicate and handso face. Nora always had the whimsical idea of having him try on girl’s clothes whenever she visited, which Aske always stopped: What if it affected the child’s psyche?

Never thought that preventing him from dressing as a girl still didn’t stop his downfall! Thinking of this, Aske felt sowhat helplessly exasperated and hit the side of the bed fiercely.

Eleanor was startled by his action and quickly turned around to hug him, asking:

“Don’t you dare hit him! You can’t solve problems with violence if the child has turned out this way…”

“Then what do you suggest?” Aske said, covering his forehead.

“Sigh,” Eleanor sighed, resting her cheek against Aske’s chest, “We can only try making him read so books with normal views of love, to see if we can correct it.”

“What’s the use of reading books?” Aske asked with a strange look, leaning into her ear and whispering, “I think the kid is too young to know what real love is. Maybe we should find a clean courtesan outside, drug him, and see if we can forcibly straighten him out…”

“What are you talking about?” Eleanor imdiately widened her eyes, “Wouldn’t that make things worse?”

“No, wouldn’t it?” Aske was also sowhat guilty. This was just a sudden idea, and he hadn’t known that forcing a gay person to interact with the opposite sex could accelerate their aversion to it.

“Yes!” Eleanor slapped the bed too, saying loudly, “Starting to hook up with maids at such a young age, really letting him get a taste for it, what would beco of him!”

Aske: ???

“Wait, I think I might have misunderstood.” He raised his palm, paused for a mont, and asked, “What do you an by ‘his sexual orientation has a problem’?”

“The tutor told yesterday,” Eleanor sighed, “They did a psychological test in the morning, asking the kids what kind of career they wanted.”

“And how did he answer?” Aske asked.

“He said,” Eleanor covered her cheeks with her hand, as if the answer made her extrely embarrassed.

“… His dream is to have a harem.”

Aske: ……

Wow, I thought he was into n; scared the hell out of .

As for the harem, hahaha, my son does have so ambition.

Seeing him visibly relieved, Eleanor suspiciously asked:

“Dear, you don’t really think this is okay, do you?”

This was a loaded question, and Aske, being battled-hardened, certainly wasn’t going to fall for it, so he imdiately straightened his face and said:

“Of course, that’s impossible; he’s only a few years old, too young to be so fickle. We certainly cannot let him continue to twist like this…”

“You think you set a good example?” Eleanor, with a mix of laughter and tears, angrily pushed Aske down onto the bed.

However, as he fell, he had already grabbed hold of Eleanor’s towel and neatly pulled it open.

Accompanied by a small yelp, Eleanor was also pulled down onto the bed, and then began fidgeting clumsily.

On the other side of Weisbach Palace, following the end of today’s math class, four boys had already run out.

Leading them was Maximilian, a handso young boy with dim blonde hair. Although not the heir of the Weisbach Family, he was uniformly respected and adored by everyone in the family, particularly by his grandfather, the Duke of Bavaria, who doted on him to the extre.

Thus, he undeniably beca the leader of the four children.

“Mike, are we still playing the rcenary ga today?” the boy with curly brown hair timidly asked from behind him.

Maximiliano Valencia Lysinius, the son of Aske and Nora, nicknad “Maksi,” was currently staying in Weisbach Palace, spending the sumr with his half-brothers.

Unfortunately, even during the Otherworld’s sumr break, the children still had to attend morning tutoring sessions.

“Don’t be silly, Maksi,” Maximilian (referred to hereafter as “Mike” due to his long na) disdainfully said, “What’s so fun about playing rcenary? A real man should…”

“Mike, last ti you said a real man should adventure across the continent like rcenaries,” another blonde-haired boy complained, “Because of that, we played the rcenary ga for a whole week.”

Christopher William von Weisbach, Aske and Eleanor’s second son, also inherited his mother’s blonde hair and his father’s facial features. He was lazy and disliked trouble, yet was always dragged along by his overly energetic brother.

“Chris, you were the one who wanted to play rcenary,” Mike quickly retorted, shifty-eyed.

“Huh?” Chris dropped his shoulders, understanding anew the depths of his brother’s shalessness, “What are you joking about! If it wasn’t for you, I’d be taking a nap in my room right now!”

“Napping? Ha!” Mike scoffed as if he had heard sothing hilarious, “Have you ever slept with a woman, my dear brother? You probably haven’t even touched a woman’s chest.”

Here we go again… the other three boys collectively sighed.

Now, if soone retorted with “Have you slept with a woman?” Mike would assertively say that he had given his first night to his personal maid, Mariana, and then describe an R-rated scenario that spanned over a thousand words.

However, Chris had already asked Mariana beforehand, and it turned out that on that particular night, Mike had rely held her hand while sleeping. Poor Mariana had to sit by his bed all night, waking up sore in her neck and waist.

Seeing both his brother and Maksi silent, Mike turned his attention to the tall figure beside him, asking,

“Cory, you too? I heard that won from the North are quite bold, capable of taking down a beloved man in broad daylight on the snowy grounds and then accomplishing sothing remarkable… Have you ever been taken down by a woman?”

Corey Olaf Henrik Friedrich, the son of Aske and Sigrdrifa. His mother, Sigrdrifa, initially only nad him “Corey,” but sohow it had morphed into this long na… It’s just that these northern nobles really have odd minds.

As Sigrdrifa’s son, he inherited his mother’s white hair and his father’s facial features, looking sowhat similar to the other three boys, except he was extrely tall. At 12, he had already reached 1.7 ters tall. If it wasn’t for his inherently reserved and quiet nature, perhaps he would have been the leader instead of Mike.

“I heard from my father the day before yesterday that today is sothing called the ‘Dragon Boat Festival,'” Cory’s Chinese pronunciation was quite accurate, “The Dragon Boat Festival involves eating a food called zongzi.”

“Ah, Zongzi!” Maksi imdiately showed keen interest, “I’ve tried it! It’s food steam-baked in leaves, containing glutinous rice and at fillings!”

“That sounds quite nice,” Chris pondered. He too had been fortunate enough to taste Nora’s exquisite cooking, “Should we ask the kitchen to make so today… Never mind, it’s too much trouble.”

“Hey! I’m talking about won, won!” Mike protested vehently, nearly getting sidetracked by Cory’s topic-shifting technique, “Don’t switch the subject to zongzi!”

“Eating today would already be too late,” Cory said gravely, “I already ntioned, ‘the day before yesterday’, the Dragon Boat Festival was the day before yesterday.”

“You ntioned it too late, Cory,” Maksi thoughtfully considered, “But no worries, I’ll instruct the kitchen to prepare a al of zongzi, sort of to make up for the missed festival.”

“Wait, I’m the host of Weisbach Palace!” Mike imdiately got frantic, “If anyone is to give orders to the kitchen, it should be !”

“Sure, let him do it,” Chris imdiately exchanged glances with the other two boys.

Either way, as long as he kept his mouth shut and stopped talking about won, it was all good.
