Revive Rome: Wait! Why not make the empress fall in love with me first? Chapter 648: 27 Evil Strike
Chapter 648: Chapter 27 Evil Strike
“Eleanor is awake?”
Hearing this news, Aske was startled.
Wasn’t she supposed to be in hibernation for 1-5 days?
Of course, Aske quickly realized another issue, which was that a hibernation of 1-5 days for players did not an it would be 1-5 days for the natives here.
After all, this wasn’t a ga world.
Upon reaching the second-floor bedroom, Aske saw the girls all gathered around her, constantly clicking their tongues in amazent. Eleanor was sitting on the bed, her eyes emitting golden flas that flowed outward.
Is this… evolution? Had she beco a Blood Elf who drew magic power from the Sun Well?
“Can you see?” Aske waved his hand in front of her.
“Uhm,” replied Eleanor with a wry smile, “I can only see your blurry silhouette.”
“Your ability looks pretty cool,” Aske said, dragging a chair over and sitting down. “Tell , what does it do?”
“It’s called ‘Judgnt,'” Eleanor answered. “Will Law. Judgnt.”
“It allows to see the good or evil state of the mind bodies around , and it enables flas to shoot out of my eyes in a wide range to strike down those who are evil.”
“Wow!” exclaid the girls in astonishnt, followed by a wave of unrest. Strike down the evil ones? Did that an only evil people would be hard?
“More precisely,” Eleanor explained, “evil ones will suffer damage a stunning effect. Neutral beings will only be stunned, without injury.”
“I see,” Aske quickly grasped the concept. The skill obviously surpassed the free proof of conscience, categorizing everyone into one of three alignnts: [Good][Neutral][Evil]. Evil ones were the worst off, suffering injury a stunning effect (which could be seen as temporary dizziness); neutrals would only be stunned; good ones were unhard.
“Wait, can you tell if we’re good or evil?” Mia leaned over the bed and asked.
“Of course,” said Eleanor, looking at everyone. “Nora is good, Thira and Mia are neutral…”
Her voice paused, then fell on Peggy: “Peggy is evil.”
“I’m evil?!” The Blood Clan girl cried out in disbelief, “Impossible! I’m clearly supposed to be neutral!”
The room fell silent. Did she have no clue whether she was evil? Who had slaughtered the massive Verona City? Who had killed all the Temple Knights stationed there?
“Cough, cough,” Eleanor said awkwardly, “Don’t worry, Peggy, I won’t hold this against you… Just stay away from in battle, I’m afraid I might burn you with my ability.”
Peggy: …
“Aske!” she clung to Aske’s arm, looking aggrieved. “How could I be evil? I’m so well-behaved…”
Aske was speechless. If you’re asking , I can only say definitely, your master Agrippina is so evil she bubbles with it, and she took a liking to you at first sight. Do you still dare claim you’re not a little troublemaker?
Of course, Peggy’s evil was the cute kind of a child, like “I only care about those I care about,” with “no compassion for those I don’t care about.” Aske happened to fall into the “cared about” category, so he wasn’t too bothered by her character.
After reassuring Peggy, Aske asked again:
“Your eyes are still glowing… can you turn it off?”
“This is a side effect of just having grasped the skill,” Eleanor said helplessly. “It should fade in about an hour.”
“That’s fine,” Aske said. “Let’s go outside and test it.”
Outside on the training field, Eleanor still maintained the cool state of her eyes emitting light, vaguely aiming in Aske’s direction.
“Cast your skill on ,” Aske said.
No sooner had he spoken than golden flas suddenly blazed up from beneath his feet, touching his body and causing Aske’s head to jolt.
Following that was an endless tide of guilt and a sense of sin that surged into his heart. Each of these sinful thoughts seed to carry an imnsely intense heat, nearly enough to burn his soul to ashes.
However, Aske had indeed made very few mistakes in the past, after all, he was a person with traditional morals, thus he only suffered a brief “ntal torture” before quickly recovering to normal.
“Was I stunned for a few seconds?” he asked Nora in the distance.
“About 2 seconds,” Nora replied.
“Again,” Aske said.
After experinting on himself multiple tis, Aske began to roughly understand the nature of the “Judgent” Law Skill.
It was quick to activate, disregarded distance, caused widespread damage, and carried a stunning effect. The more evil the target, the more sins they acknowledged within themselves, the greater the damage they incurred.
He then had Nora try it, and the flas roaring up at her feet extinguished almost instantly.
Nora: ???
“Very good, Nora, you truly are a good girl,” Aske said with satisfaction, only to hear Peggy protest indignantly beside him:
“! Aske, what about ?”
“Forget it…” Aske quickly dismissed her eagerness. If Peggy got caught up in those flas, she might just end up burned to ash on the spot.
And dea was certainly soone who absolutely must not touch this thing.

anwhile, in the Normandy Court.
dea walked down the corridor with composure, the Norman guards stationed there seed not to notice her presence, rely nodding silently and bowing their heads as she passed, as if Knights were respectfully saluting their Queen.
“I didn’t expect you to stroll in to visit so boldly,” Robert’s figure erged silently around the corner of the hallway ahead.
“I had to co over to confirm so things,” dea glanced around, “to talk here?”
“Considering your Ability can drive away the irrelevant, right?” Robert said with a cold smile, “Let’s talk here.”
“What is The Azure Longsword aiming for?”
“If I said it’s to reunite you and your daughter, would you believe ?” dea remarked impassively.
“I’m not stupid enough to take the word of an Enchanting Demon,” Robert frowned, “I also don’t care about your relationship with Sigrdrifa. Now that she has returned, don’t expect to exploit her to snatch any benefits that don’t belong to you from the Otwell Family.”
“Of course, I completely understand what you an,” dea smiled faintly, “Whatever we truly aim for will be pursued through cooperation with you, without involving Sigrdrifa, right?”
Robert narrowed his eyes slightly, and after a mont, he said:
“That’s right.”
He turned away, looking out at the bright and sunny courtyard, musing aloud:
“The Normandy Court traces its origins to the early Second Epoch Carthaginians, who had established the ‘Grave Palace’ here; later it was seized by the Solomonites, who converted it into a biochemical weapons research facility.”
“In the late Fourth Epoch, it fell under the territory of the East Solomon Empire. After the Empire’s sphere of influence shrank, it was briefly taken by the Berbers who reestablished the ‘Emir Palace’ for Netherworld Sacrifices, yet it soon landed in the hands of the Otwell Family.”
“Since this palace has changed hands so often, one more change wouldn’t be too significant,” dea said with a smile, yet her eyes betrayed no amusent, “Sir, we are a rcenary Group that seeks battlefields and ventures into dangerous territories with rich rewards. We do not linger in any place attached to it—not even a palace in Sicily.”
Robert fell silent again.
This Enchanting Demon… every ti he spoke only half a sentence, or even hinted slightly, she could completely guess his true intent and smoothly express the exact response he hoped to hear.
It gave him an instinctive sense of wariness.
