[The Host's Arcane Power increased.]
Liam's chest heaved heavily and sweat trickled down from his forehead, soaking his clothes. He was exhausted after spending more than two hours with the torrents of Arcane Power raging inside his body. His body had slowly accepted the Arcane Power which resulted in the increase in his Arcane Power stat.
It had increased by a full rank, which was a great success. The Arcane Power inside his body was not only more potent than before but also more in terms of quantity.
"Now I feel a bit better," Liam mumbled with a weak smile on his lips as he felt that his body was slowly regaining its forr glory.
Of course, he was not even close to reaching the strength he possessed in the past but it was only a matter of ti before that would happen.
Liam was just about to get up from the ground when his eyes caught a flicker and were pulled over to a blade that lay idle next to him. He picked up the weapon which he imdiately recognized as a kunai, though manufactured to look more modern than an ordinary kunai.
A kunai is a small deadly weapon with a rather simple design, which required the wielder to possess so skill and precision to use it efficiently.
Its blade was double-edged, long, and narrow, ending in a razor-sharp tip that glimred in a dark bluish light. The edges were honed to perfection, which Liam figured real quick as it cut through the pipe to his left. The blade of the kunai was dark blue while the hilt was made of dark wood that was wrapped in a durable cord.
[『Arcane Kunai』-Lesser Relic/Circleless G-Rank-
Description: The Arcane Kunai is a weapon with many unique properties. It was forged in the maw of a dying Drake using the Essence of a Blackleara Swordfish. It can be bound to one Source of Arcane Power which can precisely control the Relic in a radius of two ters as long as enough Arcane Power has been provided.
Remark: The Lesser Relic can be upgraded up to the 「1st Circle, D Rank」using Arcanium.]
"A Relic? That's certainly sothing I didn't expect," Liam mumbled to himself. He understood the value of the Lesser Relic imdiately and didn't waste any ti in imprinting his Source of Arcane Power to the Relic.
The Arcane Kunai trembled upon acknowledging Liam as its new owner and he injected more of his Arcane Power inside. Afterward, he willed the Arcane Kunai to move as per his wish.
A radius of two ters was not much but it was certainly enough to play around a little. Furthermore, the Arcane Kunai was currently a Circleless G- Rank item. Upgrading it was likely to be expensive but the Lesser Relic was bound to beco sharper, while the range of control was supposed to expand.
Liam was interested in the Lesser Relic, but he was interrupted by the botherso gazes that were thrown at him.
"You guys want to know what Relics are?" Liam asked, guessing what the oblivious natives wanted to know. Their frantic nods were enough of an answer for him to start explaining the difference between ordinary armants and Relics.
"Simply put, Relics are the stronger versions of ordinary armants because of their special properties. These special properties can vary a lot, but the best example would be the Arcane Kunai. I can control it precisely in a radius of two ters. Even if that is not much, I can expand the range of control by upgrading the rank of the Lesser Relic," He said before pointing out a few more things, "The Arcane Kunai is also extrely sharp because it was forged with the Essence of a Blackleare Swordfish. Using Essences in the forging process increases the chance to create an armant. Other than that, it is also possible for a Relic to have gained sentience in the manufacturing process. The materials, whether it is an Essence or sothing else have gained sentience after its form was completed."
There were a few more things he could ntion, and it might have been better if he worded so things a little bit more in detail or in simplified terms but he chose against correcting himself. The most important to know was that Relics were of exceptional value, that they were better than ordinary armants, and that they had special properties!
After he was done explaining, Liam didn't even think of giving the natives the ti to co up with more questions.
"It's already dark. Spend your Arcanium or rest a little. I have lots of things to do tonight!" He said while sliding open the Arcane Shop where a bunch of shops popped up.
Other than the shops of the Elves and Dwarves, there was his shop and a handful of others. Most shops didn't offer anything that attracted his attention. There were a few items that were worth a second glance but that was already it.
He didn't plan on wasting his Arcanium for sothing of little to no value. Liam was trying to be on par with the big families of the Nine Realms, so he had to give his best and make the choices that rewarded him with the most efficient solutions.
Thus, Liam ended up claiming the Vial of Boundless Vitality.
[Vial of Boundless Vitality(SSS) has been claid]
The Vial didn't look special. In fact, it looked like an ordinary vial with golden liquid swirling inside.
[『Vial of Boundless Vitality』-Circleless SSS Rank-
Description: The Vial of Boundless Vitality has been created with the sap of a Sacred Tree of Life. It creates a flood of Lifeforce that is capable of reaching every nook and cranny of the body, thereby cleansing it. The remaining Lifeforce will reinforce the body in its entirety!
Remark: Not a single trace of Lifeforce will be wasted, no matter what!]
"That's the good stuff…I see!"
