Around 4 hours into rlin's wait at the underground prison built for the 30 odd defectors, The first to advance to Tier 2 had finally awoken.
He was a slightly burly man who had many scars across his face and body, most likely so sort of ex-military before the Apocalypse.
However, that didn't matter. What mattered to rlin was the fact that he had advanced to Tier 2, and nothing else. Even thought he had broken the mana-shackled placed on him by rlin, he was just a newly advanced Tier 2, while rlin had stabilised his foundations, and had a nearly unlimited number of spells inside the library known as Archive.
Realising the situation, the man began urging the mana in his body to form a shield. However, he was a millisecond to late, allowing a barrage of spells to land on his body, completely obliterating him and his soul from the Earth, without a trace.
With the first kill completed, rlin said under his breath,
"I sentence you to death"
Naturally, he had broadcasted this throughout all the coms in the sanctum.
Most people began to shudder at the show of strength rlin had just displayed. He had killed off a Tier 2 without even moving a muscle. He did not employ any cheap tricks like casting a second earlier, or using so sort of item. He had started casting at the sa instant that the man had begun urging his own mana.
He had simply overpowered the Tier 2 with only speed and strength. There was nothing else to it. He was simply stronger than the man.
As ti passed, more and more defectors began awakening, and rlin simply dealt with them all in the sa fashion. The number of spells he needed to use to achieve the sa goal began to reduce as he killed his way through the jail cells, showing he was growing stronger with each kill.
At one point, 2 people awoken at the sa ti, and seeing the dead bodies around them, realised the situation and acted together.

However, before they could even complete arousing their mana, they were both obliterated with nearly 20 spells on each of their bodies.
Soon, rlin had gone through all the defectors, and most of the Tier 0, and Tier 1s who had gone to evolve, had completed their evolution to the next Tier, and most of them had seen rlin's strength, further enforcing his position as the leader of the rlin Sanctum.
"I sentence you all to death." He said coldly as he closed the live-broadcast.
"Phillip, report"
"Master. There are currently 1,031 newly advanced Tier 1, a total of 1,104 Tier 1 in the sanctum. There are 24 newly advanced Tier 2, including Foveros, and cha, bringing the total Tier 2 to 25. A total of 34 Tier 0s have died in the process of evolution after failing, while no Tier 1s have died in this manner."
"Enemy status"
"A Class 3 threat incoming from the north, and a Class 2 threat from the West. A total of 34,256 Tier 1, and 54 Tier 2 in both threats combined."
"Alright. Announce the situation to all Tier 1s and above, while announce a lockdown to all normal citizens. Make sure all non-combat or logistics personnel are inside their hos, with all items packed in case of ergency evacuations. Send all Tier 2s to the Class 2 threat, along with half of the Tier 1s. Send half of the remaining Tier 1s with to pick off at the zombies that escape. Keep the rest of the Tier 1s as protection for the base, and security personnel to maintain order."
With that, rlin left the underground jail, and flew into the sky, with 36 Tier 2 kills having morphed to 144 evolution points thanks to the [Multiplier] skill, allowing him to reach Tier 2, Lv 2, needing around 74 more evolution points, or around 19 Tier 2 kills, to reach Lv 3.
