Every head in the class turned to look at Nora when she entered the classroom. A few were shocked while others mocked. A few of them stood up and went to greet her.
"You are finally back. How are you now?"
"I heard what Miss gan did. I could not believe soone could be so vicious."
"But Nora, you gave a good reply. I heard that she was not given ti to even pack her things when she was kicked out."
"And that man, he was sent to jail. You were so cool Nora."
Nora smiled at all of them. Her bright and clear eyes looked srizing as they looked at her as if spellbound. A few boys blushed when she smiled at them.
Victor entered the class and walked straight to her. In front of everyone, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.
"I know that my girlfriend is aweso. Thank you everyone for taking good care of her."He was like a beast marking his territory. His eyes challenged those blushing boys to take a step further if they dared!
They all were stunned. They looked at intimidating Victor and helplessly smiling Nora and blushed.
"Oh man! I can hear heartbreak from every corner. Are you not afraid that girls would target Nora after knowing you are taken." Mikey shook his head and sighed when he noticed the girls glaring at Nora.
"Who would dare! Who did not know Nora is not a pushover. Those who had tried to hurt her t with a bad end. And those who would target Nora because of will suffer my wrath too. So, I want to see who will do it?" he stared at every student in the class leaving the whole class dumbfounded.
VIctor was known for his calm and sweet nature. Forget about threatening, he had never raised his voice in the class. His sweet and caring nature and his handso features had earned him a special place in every heart. But now! They all looked at him strangely as if they did not know him.
Victor did not care. He helped Nora by sitting beside him and even arranged her books for her.
They turned to see Alex’s reaction but only then did they notice Alex was absent again.
"It had been so many days. I wonder what happened to Alex?" Mikey sighed as he stealthily looked at Nora.
But Nora did not react. She had already received a call from Alric and knew Alex was not returning. But it was not her place to inform others.
The classes went silently. Students discussed how exams were too difficult this ti and how those teachers had not returned to their schools yet. When the class ended, Lucy walked to Nora’s seat and glared at her with a sneer.
"Nora.." Nora finally raised her head when Lucy mocked her. "You still behave high and mighty. But you even missed the inter school contest and did not give midterms exam. Do you think you can stay in the class for long?" she looked at Nora mockingly. And then turned to look at Penny earning a nod from her.
Nora stared at them blankly as if she did not know them. And when everyone was waiting for her answer, she lowered her head and started packing her bag again.
"Lucy! Did you not hear ?" Victor frowned. He was about to continue when Nora held his hand and shook her head.
"But.."
"When is the result coming out?" she asked patiently.
"Umm, I thought it was today!" Victor frowned. "But Nora, didn’t you tell .." she shook her head again and stopped him from speaking.
"Lucy! Can you wait for one more day before insulting ?" The voice was so sweet that Lucy blinked. She looked at Nora and then at Penny as if she was not sure how to continue.
"Ha! Fine! I will wait for you to cry when the results are out. And how shaless you are to return to school after that." with a final glare, she returned to pick up her bag.
"Did I do good?" Many students had waited for the drama. They have still not left when they heard Lucy whispering to Penny.
So it was Penny who had asked Lucy to insult Nora? Tch! Did she not say she is a good sister and did not want to target her sister? And every ti she had erupted, it was Nora who had targeted her first and she could not hold her temper.
What was that now? Penny frowned too. Penny had always made an image that she was sweet and kind. Recently when that image broke, she had claid that she never initiated but that did not an she would be a pushover.
"What are you saying! You should not behave like that!" she glared and rebuked Lucy.
Lucy blinked and then understanding filled her eyes. She nodded and bowed her head.
"Yes, yes! It was my mistake." but everyone had already understood what had happened. Who did not know Lucy was Penny’s minion. She would repeat every word said by Penny.
"No wonder!" soone whispered and the whole class started laughing. Penny glared at them. But she didn’t know who had started. So she could not intimidate them. She could only grit her teeth and left the class. Lucy, shocked and scared, followed her with a hurried step.
"Wait! Penny. I am sorry." she scread hard and everyone laughed again.
"So much for a kind girl! Does she think everyone is a fool here!" Nora smiled sweetly as Lucy ran away when Victor placed a hand on her shoulder.
"You do not need to mind them, Nora. I will talk to my father and see.."
"Victor, have I not told you already?" she cut him in, "and as far as it is about your father. I think you should avoid talking about to him. I have sothing to do, I will see you later."
