Just as she was lost in her own mories, her phone rang again.
Feeling irritated, she glanced at it and saw that it was Thomas Smith calling. She quickly composed herself, answering with a sweet voice, “Brother.”

Worried, she returned to the building where she lived. Upon reaching her floor, she saw two n dressed as bodyguards stationed at the door.
Wearing black suits and sunglasses on their noses, they looked rather nacing.
Olivia’s heart trembled violently, and she instinctively took a step back, looking at them warily and asking:
“Who are you, and what are you doing at my door?”
As she spoke, she secretly took out her phone to ask Thomas for help, but then one of the bodyguards removed his sunglasses, looked at Olivia, and said:
“We are here by Mr. Smith’s orders to guard this place and let no one in.”
Mr. Smith?
This apartnt was bought by Thomas, and Olivia’s first reaction was that these people were arranged by Thomas to protect her, but they didn’t recognize her, so they stopped her.
Thinking this, Olivia slowly cald down.
Looking at the bodyguards wearing sunglasses, she instantly felt a sense of superiority as the hostess and said to the man:
“I am the owner of this apartnt, not so random person. Let in.”
With that, she stepped forward and reached out to push the bodyguard aside, only to be rcilessly shoved aside by him.
“Mr. Smith stated that no one is allowed in except him.”
“You…”
Olivia was furious, relying on the fact that Thomas doted on her unconditionally, she arrogantly pointed at the bodyguard’s nose and scolded:
“You are just two doorkeepers, who are you to stop ? Listen carefully, I am the owner of this house, not an outsider. If you know what’s good for you, let in, or I can get you fired right now and kick you out!”
The bodyguard remained unfazed by Olivia pointing at his nose and didn’t get angry, rely glanced coldly at Olivia’s finger pointing at his nose, and said:
“Miss, we bodyguards don’t discriminate when it cos to hitting people, if you’re sure you don’t need your finger, you can keep pointing it at .”
The bodyguard’s tone was indifferent, so detached it was especially intimidating.
Olivia was clearly frightened by his words, quickly withdrawing her finger and hiding it behind her back.
But still pretended to be tough:
“You… just wait, I can get you fired right now.”
Saying that, she took out her phone and called Thomas.
But unfortunately, Thomas’s phone didn’t go through at this mont, making Olivia jump with anxiety.
Being watched coldly by several bodyguards, Olivia felt like they were watching her make a fool of herself, which made her even angrier.
