He sat down across from Helen lendy, holding her hands, and said:
“I went to New Horse because of your matter.”
“My matter?”

“You didn’t go looking for Edward Smith, did you?”

Helen lendy was taken aback for a mont, then a bigger smile appeared on her face.
“You didn’t really consider Edward Smith a rival in love and went to New Horse to warn him, did you?”
Harry Hall was amused by the vivid expressions on her face, raised his hand to rub her head, and said:
“Is your husband really that insecure?”
“Then what are you doing going to New Horse to find Edward Smith?”
Still because of her matter?
What connection could she have with Edward Smith?

“Do you rember earlier, when Adam’s people found out that soone from the Smith Family was constantly watching you?”
Helen lendy paused for a mont, then nodded, “Elly ntioned it to .”
“Later, I went and conducted a deeper investigation, discovering that Edward Smith’s people had already been keeping an eye on you two years ago. I was worried they might do you harm, so I specifically went to New Horse to ask Edward Smith directly about it.”
Speaking of this, Harry Hall recalled Edward Smith’s genuine surprise when he brought up the events from two years ago.
