His face was scrunched up with his features all squeezed together, and his lips slightly pursed, adding a touch of cuteness to the normally aloof and noble CEO Hall.

Helen lendy looked at him and burst into laughter.

"Because you and he are just like two peas in a pod."

As soon as she said this, Harry Hall understood what she ant.

Listening to the unpleasant curses outside, Harry Hall was completely unbothered.

A woman with whom he felt no maternal bond whatsoever, he simply would not take to heart.

"Did you have a fight?"

Helen lendy, hearing those words, felt both pained and infuriated.

Despite her imnse dislike for Leanne Richards, considering she was Harry Hall’s mother, she tried her best to avoid direct confrontation with her.

But that woman was unsatisfied and inconsiderate, and listening to her curse her husband word by word, the fire in Helen lendy’s heart was threatening to break free at any mont.

Harry Hall, seeing the flas of anger burning in her eyes, reached out to hold her hand and said:

"It’s nothing."

He wasn’t even interested in discussing Leanne Richards with her and so changed the subject.

"Jane should have already prepared breakfast, let’s go to the main building and eat first, we’ll talk about other things after breakfast."

Seeing that he had no intention of discussing it, Helen lendy naturally didn’t insist and nodded in agreent.

Just as she was about to get out of bed and put on her shoes, Harry Hall scooped her up a step faster and said:

"Today, no walking for you. I’ll carry you back."

Helen lendy didn’t refuse but instead very willingly wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her face in his embrace, responding with a soft "okay."

Harry Hall looked down at her with a slight curve forming at the corner of his lips, no longer concerning himself with the curses from Leanne Richards outside.

As the couple ca out, Leanne Richards’ cursing beca even clearer.

She stood directly in the corridor of the annex, cursing, which was right along the path the couple had to take to return to the main building.

By now, her eyes were red from shouting, like an enraged hen with all its feathers puffed up, bloodshot eyes showing no intention of stopping.

Seeing Harry Hall carrying Helen lendy out with smiles on their faces, the fire in Leanne Richards’ heart burned even more uncontrollably.

At this point, she had lost all reason, otherwise she wouldn’t be picking a fight with Helen lendy now, but still she rushed forward.

"Helen lendy, you lowly Fox Spirit, you incited my son against , made him heartlessly turn against his own uncle, it’s you, you despicable woman!"

As Leanne Richards lunged forward, Harry Hall had already stepped aside with Helen lendy in his arms.

The smile on his face turned to an icy deanor.

Leanne Richards seed to have gone mad. The more Harry avoided her, the more she lunged like a lioness, aiming to tear into Helen lendy.

"Enough!"

Harry Hall shouted angrily, startling Leanne Richards who had lost all reason, montarily halting her actions.

Yet her bloodshot eyes continued to glare maliciously at Helen lendy, as if prepared to attack at any mont.

Harry Hall’s gaze was cold, with an undisguised warning, "If you want to see the Richards Clan go completely bankrupt, then go ahead and cause another scene."

Ruthless words devoid of any mother-son sentint, each word like cold winter snow striking hard upon Leanne Richards’ heart.

She glared at Harry Hall and his wife with a mix of anger and fear, watching helplessly as Harry Hall carried Helen lendy out of the annex.
