Capítulo 1828: Chapter 1828: Sumr Hall Side Story (30)
Looking at Helen lendy, he repeated in surprise, “You rember him?”
“Of course, he did give us a house worth billions as a wedding gift. Not only do I rember him, I have a vivid impression.”
Helen lendy turned a page and replied.
Harry Hall was stunned again, only to realize that Helen had misunderstood his aning. He sighed helplessly with a smile.
“Is that all you rember?”
Helen had just finished a chapter. Distracted, she looked up at him and smiled:
“What else? Do you want to have a different impression of him?”
“Definitely not.”
Harry refused without a second thought.
However, thinking about what he had recently discovered, he still said honestly:
“I think Edward Smith might have known you before. Do you really have no impression of him?”
Helen paused while flipping through her phone, a trace of doubt in her eyes.
Thinking about the strange familiarity she felt with Edward, it really didn’t seem like a first eting. Could it be that she actually knew Edward?
But then, if they knew each other, why didn’t Edward ntion it whenever they t?
With this in mind, she replied:
“I can’t even rember my own husband, how could I have an impression of an unrelated person?”
Helen’s decisive answer made Harry quietly delighted again.
“Wife clearly distinguishes between ‘own husband’ and ‘unrelated’ people. Kudos.”
“Moreover, if he really knew , why wouldn’t he bring it up?”
Helen added a sentence.
Harry laughed and nodded in agreent, gently ruffling her hair, “You have a point.”
He didn’t continue the topic. For now, he would wait until he saw Edward.
Helen returned her attention to the novel she was reading and heard soone beside her suddenly sigh with regret, “Ah, if I had known a house from Edward would impress you so much, I should have given you a few more. That way, you might rember better.”
Hearing this, Helen glanced at him sideways, raising an eyebrow, “Regretting it?”
“Yes, regretting it,”
Harry nodded seriously with an earnest expression.
“It’s not too late to give now.”
As she spoke, she spread her fair palm in front of Harry and said, “Hurry up and give a set of each house style, then I’ll never forget you.”
Harry laughed, took her hand that she spread in front of him, and held it, “Only one set each? You’re really not greedy at all.”
“Not greedy? Then give a few more of each style.”
“As you wish, my dear wife.”
When the couple returned ho, they inevitably encountered Leanne Richards.
Seeing Helen lendy made Leanne want to roll her eyes, lacking the grace and composure of a wealthy lady.
But because of her son, with past incidents as a cautionary tale, she didn’t dare to do much against Helen.
Though intentionally or unintentionally displeasing Helen happened often indeed.
“Harry, you’re back. I personally stewed so supplents for you today. Don’t just focus on work, take care of your health too.”
As she spoke, she looked aningfully at Helen standing next to Harry.
She wasn’t in a wheelchair but was being supported by Harry to walk slowly.
With all the exercise lately, she could basically stand for a period of ti now.
“Helen, now that you’re Harry’s wife, you should also learn to take care of your husband. It’s a wife’s duty.”
