The assistant joked.
Harry Hall nodded, not overly enthusiastic but keeping basic politeness.
After saying hello, he headed straight to Helen lendy’s office.
When he opened the door, Helen was still poring over the stack of legal docunts in front of her, unaware of Harry’s arrival.
Harry did not disturb her; instead, he gently pulled out the chair opposite her and sat down.
He focused intently on watching her work, as if admiring a masterpiece.
Who knows how much ti elapsed, but Helen eventually finished the docunts and looked up, surprised to see the man in front of her, then helplessly smiled.
“When did you get here?”
“I’ve been here a while, saw how busy you were, didn’t want to disturb.”
Harry stood up, leaned closer, “Honey, are you done? Ready to go ho?”
“Not quite done.”
As Harry showed disappointnt on his face, Helen continued:
“But, I don’t want my hubby waiting, let’s head ho.”
Harry’s disappointed face imdiately lit up, especially after hearing “let’s head ho,” which made Harry beam with joy.
He loved the feeling of being connected by his wife.
He walked quickly to Helen’s side and lifted her up horizontally, “Let’s go ho.”
“Oh, put down, there are so many people here, it’d be awkward if they saw.”
“Who cares, the whole world knows you’re my wife.”
“Harry Hall, public setting, please behave!”
“I’ll buy this building tomorrow, turn it into a private setting.”
Helen lendy: “…”
