Helen lendy paused while eating, looked at the man outside who was on the phone, and chuckled, "Did he make this?"
"Yes, the Young Master was worried you wouldn’t be used to the breakfast we make, so he made it especially for you."
Jane lowered her voice and said:
"Young Miss, before you ca to the Hall Family, I had never seen the Young Master treat anyone so well, not even our madam has ever eaten breakfast made by him."
If the madam knew that this breakfast was made by the Young Master himself, she’d probably be incredibly upset.
Helen had eaten food made by Harry Hall before, but this was the first ti for breakfast.
So at first, she really thought Jane had made it.
Now hearing Jane say that Harry got up early to make it, a warm feeling rose in her heart imdiately.
Unconsciously, her gaze at Harry beca a bit hazy.
This man, who was once the unreachable man of her dreams, is now her partner in life, soone she’ll walk hand-in-hand with forever.
She shouldn’t always communicate with him from a distance.
Since she beca his wife, she should be with him as a wife.
He said that it’s his turn to pursue her now, but she’s already his wife, so what’s the need for pursuing, just treat him as her husband and love him well.
Suddenly, it was like she walked out of a fog, becoming clear and enlightened.
By this ti, Harry Hall had finished his call and returned.
Seeing the empty breakfast plate before her, his face lit up with a few more smiles.
Helen glanced at the clock on the wall and said to Harry Hall:
"It’s about ti, could you take to work?"
But Harry Hall wasn’t in a hurry. He walked up to Helen, squatted down, and looked up at her, saying:
"Today is our second day of marriage, and you’re only thinking about work?"
Previously, they had agreed to go on a honeymoon once she could walk again, and Harry agreed.
But he didn’t want to rush back to work just one day after getting married.
The company’s employees still have half a month’s wedding leave, but he, the big boss, is pitifully without any wedding leave.
Helen, seeing the complaint on his face, cupped his face and laughed, saying:
"We’re already married, aren’t we? We’re sure to see each other, won’t we et after work tonight?"
Helen rembered sotis Elly Campbell would tease Adam Jones, calling him a clingy little demon. She couldn’t imagine what a man like Adam would be like when clingy, to be mocked as such by Elly.
Now, looking at her own CEO Hall, she kind of understood.
"I have a case to prepare for court tomorrow, so I need to get all the materials ready today. People trust enough to hire , and I can’t let them down."
She had to coax Harry Hall as if she were coaxing a child.
Harry actually knew in his heart that his wife now couldn’t walk and extrely hoped to be recognized for her work.
Of course, he supported her work too, but when such an opportunity to "bargain" ca up, he was reluctant to let it go.
So, he leaned closer to her and whispered:
"Okay then, but you’ll have to give a little compensation, won’t you?"
Helen, seeing his eager face and the anticipation in his eyes, burst into laughter.
She leaned slightly forward and gave him a quick peck on the lips.
