Harry Hall knew Helen lendy was trying to lighten the mood, and he gave her a reassuring smile before leaning down to carry her to the dining room.
The servant had just been frightened by Leanne Richards’ inexplicable outburst. She also noticed that the Young Miss was trying to smooth things over and didn’t incite the Young Master to argue with Mada. Her impression of the Young Miss improved a bit more.
She wondered what Mada was thinking. The Hall Clan is entirely in the Young Master’s hands now. Why can’t he marry the girl he likes?
She thinks the Young Miss is quite nice.
Not to ntion her appearance; she’s not educated but can only use “divine beauty” to describe her. As for the girls Mada wants the Young Master to marry, none can match the Young Miss’s looks.
And her education is even better. She’s not educated, but she knows how impressive Harvard University is, and the Young Master graduated from there. Don’t the couple have more topics to discuss?
Is it just because the Young Miss is an orphan that they’re looking down on her?
When marrying a wife, shouldn’t you marry soone with good character?
Does the Young Master still need the Jackson Clan’s help to develop?
The servant couldn’t understand it. As the Young Master’s mother, Mada clearly holds a good hand.
If she had a good relationship with the Young Master and Young Miss, things would be easier with the Uncle Old Master. Why does she insist on making the Young Miss unhappy?
After pondering this, Harry Hall had already seated Helen lendy at the dining table.
“Young Miss, these were all prepared as per the Young Master’s instructions; they are all your favorites. Try them and see if they suit your taste.”
“Thank you, Jane.”
“Young Miss, you’re too kind.”
The servant was sowhat overwheld.
“Jane, you may leave now. I’ll take it from here.”
Worried that having soone around might make Helen lendy uncomfortable, Harry Hall dismissed Jane.
“Okay, Young Master.”
After Jane left, Harry Hall watched Helen lendy slowly eating breakfast, then asked softly:
“Is it good?”
When he asked, there was a hint of anticipation in his eyes.
Helen lendy glanced at him and sincerely praised:
“It’s delicious. Jane’s cooking is really good, much better than what I usually buy at the store.”
Upon hearing her comnt, Harry Hall discreetly relaxed, and the smile in his eyes deepened.
“In the future, if you want to eat anything, feel free to ask Jane to make it for you.”
“Alright.”
Helen lendy nodded and then added, “Thanks, hubby.”
Harry Hall froze for a mont; the next second, his smile grew even broader, “Good.”
Helen lendy glanced at him, bowed her head, and continued eating her breakfast.
Just a single “hubby” made him so satisfied. CEO Hall is indeed easy to please.
Helen lendy pursed her lips, her smile involuntarily widening.
At that mont, Harry Hall’s phone rang. He took it out to check and then looked at Helen lendy, saying:
“I’ll go take this call outside first.”
“Sure.”
After Harry Hall stepped out to take the call, Jane walked back in.
“Young Miss, if you need anything else, feel free to tell .”
“Not for now, thank you.”
This breakfast indeed whetted her appetite. She looked at Jane and complinted again, “Jane, your breakfast is really delicious.”
Jane was taken aback, and then covered her mouth with a giggle.
She glanced outside and, lowering her voice, said to Helen lendy:
“Young Miss, actually, all of this was made by the Young Master early in the morning. He didn’t want you to know.”
