She looked at him, pondered for a mont, and then smiled.

"No, I just had a nightmare and woke up startled."

"A nightmare?"

Harry Hall turned on the bedside lamp, and only then noticed the traces of tears still on her face.

"What kind of nightmare was so terrifying that it made you cry?"

Harry spoke half-jokingly, half-concernedly.

"As soon as I woke up, I forgot. I only rember it was a very scary dream."

She didn’t want to discuss that absurd dream with Harry and didn’t want to upset herself further, so she proactively took his arm and steered the conversation elsewhere, saying:

"Next ti, when I’m not awake, don’t get up either. With you by my side, I won’t have nightmares."

Harry loved hearing Helen lendy say things like this to him, and upon hearing it, a smile naturally spread across his eyes.

"Alright, I’ll sleep as long as you sleep from now on."

"Okay."

She nodded, holding onto Harry’s hand, and got out of bed.

"Not sleeping anymore?"

Harry leaned down to carry her to the bathroom, but she dodged him.

"I’ve had enough sleep, I’m a bit hungry."

She avoided Harry’s hand and tightly clung to his arm, step by step moving forward.

"Then go and freshen up first, I’ll have the maid bring breakfast up."

"No need, I’m not that delicate."

Helen lendy chuckled helplessly, looked up at Harry, and said:

"If you keep pampering like this, I’ll really beco a rice weevil."

"What’s wrong with being a rice weevil? Your husband can afford to keep as many rice weevils as he wants."

Upon hearing this, Helen lendy snorted twice, raised her eyebrows at him, and said:

"Then may I ask how many rice weevils like does CEO Hall want to keep?"

"Just one, one is enough."

Realizing the trap in his wife’s words, Harry quickly expressed his loyalty.

Helen lendy couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

"Madam, breakfast is ready."

When Leanne Richards ca downstairs, the maid had already prepared breakfast.

"Okay."

Ever since William Hall was caught and her son took over the Hall Clan, and Mia Brown and her son were out of the picture, Leanne Richards actually had a very comfortable life.

Compared to those who used to laugh at her, now they’ve all co shalessly to curry favor with her.

But she couldn’t imagine that the vixen had such a big fate, beca a vegetable, and still managed to wake up.

Even more infuriating was that, despite the vixen being crippled, that unfilial son insisted on marrying her.

For the sake of that vixen, he’s torn his ties with her nurous tis and even gone against his uncle.

What woman can’t he have, why insist on a cripple!

Every ti Leanne Richards thought about having to live under the sa roof with Helen lendy, and having to watch her son’s face, it made her chest tight with anger.

Usually at this ti, her son would have been downstairs eating breakfast, but now he’s still cozied up in his room.

Leanne Richards glanced upstairs and asked the maid:

"Is the Young Master not up yet?"

The maid hesitated, knowing the animosity between madam and the Young Miss, and didn’t dare say much else, only replied:

"The Young Master went up after his run, he’s probably still showering."

"Ha!"

Leanne Richards sneered, "Is it his first day going out for a run? He’s just upstairs lolling around with that Fox Spirit."

The maid’s expression changed, standing aside, not daring to respond to Leanne Richards.

The Young Miss is the Young Master’s lifeline, has madam not realized this by now?
