Capítulo 1725: Chapter 1725: No Sensation, Just Can’t Move

Leo was choked for a mont, then snorted coldly and said:

“When you’re in a wheelchair, won’t I have plenty of chances to step on you?”

Leo didn’t bother to analyze the truth of his words. After a mont of silence, he said, “Okay.”

Even though he knew Harry would agree, he hadn’t expected him to be so straightforward even after laying everything out clearly.

He repeated his previous words, “You might have to sit in a wheelchair for the rest of your life, think it over.”

“Yeah, I’ve thought it over.”

Perhaps he wouldn’t walk anymore, and Helen wouldn’t feel undeserving of him.

“But I have a request.”

“Go ahead.”

“Don’t tell Helen about this.”

After saying that, he paused and added, “Except for you and , no one else needs to know.”

Leo looked at him, and after a long silence, chuckled softly:

“You really are a fool for love.”

Harry smiled faintly, “You’ll understand when you et a girl you like.”

Leo disregarded his words, saying: “Then let’s get started.”

He then went to the spare dical kit at ho and retrieved a disposable syringe, walking up to him.

Leo cooperated by rolling up his pant leg, without a hint of hesitation throughout the process.

Yet, before the needle fell, Leo stopped and looked up at him.

“What’s wrong? Any issues?”

Harry asked.

“Aren’t you worried I’m deceiving you? That once the injection is done, I’ll just leave?”

Harry hadn’t considered this issue, but hearing him ask, he replied: “I’m not worried.”

“Why not?”

A trace of complexity quietly passed through Leo’s eyes.

“Intuition, I guess.”

This ti, Harry wasn’t just brushing it off; it really was his intuition telling him Leo wouldn’t deceive him.

Thinking rationally, with Leo’s current skills, if he truly wanted to do sothing, he wouldn’t need such a roundabout thod.

Leo withdrew his gaze, asked nothing more, and injected the liquid into Harry’s calf.

Harry sat on the sofa, feeling a distinct numbness in his legs, and within less than a minute, his calves lost sensation.

He remained seated, his facial expression unchanged despite the sudden loss of feeling.

This ti, he truly experienced what it felt like for Helen to sit in a wheelchair, that sense of helplessness quickly tugging at his heart, churning with pain.

“How do you feel now?”

Leo, sitting opposite him, lazily asked.

“No feeling, just can’t move.”

Harry’s response was equally nonchalant.

Leo glanced at Harry, genuinely admiring his brother’s ntal resilience; despite his immobile leg, he remained calm.

Looking over at him, Harry jokingly said:

“Now that I’m like this, are you going to take back? Or call a cab?”

That relaxed tone was like he was injected with nothing more than local anesthesia, expecting to be fine once the ti was up.

“No need, sit here for a bit. Soon you’ll be able to move.”

“Huh?”

Harry was sowhat confused.

“This dication is milder than the amount Helen has in her system; initially, it will temporarily immobilize your legs, but after a while, you’ll recover.”

Harry’s face slightly relaxed, but then he heard Leo continue:

“However, the dication will gradually react with the fluid components in your calf tissue. As for when it’ll kick in, that’s hard to say.”

Harry’s half-relieved breath was taken back.

“Hmm, next ti please finish what you’re saying all at once.”

Leo smiled slightly, “I won’t.”

Harry: “…”
