Chapter 1539: 1539. I heard that I was the one chasing after you.
Helen lendy lowered her eyes, focusing on her al, feeling so awkward that she ate rather quickly.
Harry Hall sighed helplessly, raised his hand, and gently patted the back of her hand, saying:
“Eat slowly.”
Helen wanted to use eating as an excuse to conceal her embarrassnt in front of Harry.
Harry didn’t say anything else, seemingly waiting for her to finish her al.
In the hospital room, the only sound was Helen’s soft eating noises.
No matter how slowly she ate, there ca a point when the bowl was empty. Helen ate slowly and finally finished the bowl of bland chicken porridge in front of her.
Harry naturally helped her clean up.
“Shirley has sothing at ho today, so I’ll stay here to take care of you, okay?”
Helen didn’t know who Shirley was, but she figured she must be the person responsible for taking care of her these days, so Helen didn’t ask further.
What made her tense was Harry’s suggestion to stay and look after her.
She wanted to refuse, but the words “no” were swallowed back when she t his expectant gaze.
“Sure, sorry for the trouble, senior.”
Harry’s eyes showed a hint of a smile upon hearing her agreent, but it quickly vanished at her words, “Sorry for the trouble, senior.”
He walked over to Helen, squatted down, held onto her slightly ward fingers, his deep black eyes eting her uneasy ones, and said seriously:
“Helen, you’re my fiancée, you don’t have to be so formal with .”
Helen heard this and awkwardly pulled at the corners of her mouth. She still hadn’t gotten used to the identity of being the fiancée of the male idol.
No matter how gentle or indulgent he was towards her, she still felt like a toad creeping its way into the swan’s world.
Harry felt a sting at her awkward smile but continued:
“In front of , you can do whatever you want, say whatever you want, there’s no need…”
No need to be so tense and cautious.
The rest of Harry’s words caught in his throat, leaving a dim look in his eyes.
Helen understood the unfinished aning behind his words.
Unexpectedly realizing what he was thinking, Helen felt even more embarrassed.
She opened her mouth, trying to explain:
“No, senior, you misunderstood, I… I’m just not used to it, after all, we are…”

Helen was too shy to utter those words, so she simply looked at Harry and shifted the topic, saying:
“I heard from Elly Campbell that I’m the one who chased after you?”
Harry was now too tired to correct her on the “senior” title; the more he corrected, the more he feared it would have the opposite effect.
Upon hearing her question, he thought for a mont, then nodded.
Helen first looked enlightened, then followed it with a blank expression as she stared at Harry, seemingly wanting to ask sothing but too shy to voice it.
Seeing her hesitate to speak, Harry smiled faintly and said:
“What’s wrong? Do you have more to ask ?”
Helen hesitated a bit, then nodded.
“What do you want to ask?”
Helen pressed her lips together, contemplated for a mont, and asked:
“I chased after you, and you agreed to be with ?”
Is a male idol that easy to pursue?
It’s estimated that half the girls in our law departnt want to chase him.
Helen thought to herself, surprised at her ability to not only pursue the male idol in many girls’ hearts but also to get to the point of discussing marriage.
