Elly Campbell’s expression softened slightly after hearing this.
“Then go back and have lunch.”
Ethan White chuckled at her words, “After we fought like that, you still have the heart to tell to go back for lunch?”
“Then don’t go.”
Ethan was choked by her response and retorted helplessly, “I got beaten up by him. Why should I go easy on him and skip a al?”
Elly cast a sideways glance at him in annoyance and said, “Isn’t it because your mouth got you into trouble and got you beaten up?”
Ethan: “…”
She truly was a heartless woman.
After a few monts of silence, Ethan glanced sideways at Elly, hesitated for a mont, and asked, “Do you really not rember ?”
Elly gave him a puzzled look, finding his sudden question rather odd.
Ethan could tell from her expression that she genuinely didn’t rember him, and he couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed.
“Do you rember the last ti I ntioned that girl in Antarctica who stood up for ?”
Elly froze for a mont before nodding in acknowledgnt.
The next second, she noticed Ethan staring at her intently, his eyes filled with an unmistakable depth of emotion that she couldn’t ignore.
Her expression faltered for a mont before she casually said, “That girl wouldn’t happen to be , right?”
Although Ethan brought up the topic at this mont and looked at her with such deep, affectionate eyes, Elly couldn’t help but lean toward that possibility. But as far as she could rember, she hadn’t stood up for anyone before.

Even though his clothes had been washed to the point they no longer appeared their original color, they were still clean and pristine, exuding a natural upbringing full of dignity.

The director, knowing she was the eldest daughter of the Campbell Family and Old Master Campbell’s granddaughter, deed her background more daunting than the nouveau riche family’s. Reluctantly, he allowed the junior to stay.
After that, she rarely saw the junior again.

Elly looked thoughtfully at the handso man beside her.
Though he spoke more now than the quiet image in her mory, she could vaguely discern the sa unyielding arrogance from back then, as well as his disdain and scorn for people he didn’t care about.
Ethan noticed the change in Elly’s gaze and knew she had rembered.
Looking at her, he chuckled softly, “Rember now?”
“You were the little boy accused of stealing money by the nouveau riche family?”
